841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin price becomes unstable due to Bitcoin’s price fluctuations? on: March 19, 2020, 12:42:08 PM
I thought they were supposed to go up, cointelegraph posted an article that Stablecoins went up after the huge price plunge in the Cryptocurrency market.
Maybe your article is the latest, probably the Stablecoins decreased in value due to stock market crashing like crazy and people are panicking and started to invest in BTC.
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Hypocrisy Behind Facebook Banning Crypto Ads on: March 19, 2020, 10:54:35 AM
Upon lifting the Crypto ads ban i thought facebook finally see the potential of cryptocurrencies. But it's has been also in an article or crypto news in Youtube that Libra isn't really a cryptocurrency, it is the same as digital asset that's backed with fiat currency so it might be the same as a Stablecoin.
I thought at first that it was a good development for Cryptocurrency and will benefit the adoption, especially if one giant company developing it, but it's really not.
843  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is spotify premium upgrade something that people will buy? on: March 19, 2020, 10:35:21 AM
Personally i wont buy a premium account in spotify cause there are tons of other sources to listen in music and it's free. But some people here would definitely buy it especially those people who loves music, if you charge less i have coworkers whose willing to pay that is average of $15 per month family plan.
844  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What is important for you when buying things online with bitcoin? on: March 18, 2020, 09:05:01 AM
Im a dedicated hodler for now, i dont want to buy my bitcoins and compare myself to the guy who bought pizza with his Bitcoins and at that time the price of Bitcoin was really cheap.
Unless Bitcoin manage to get a full blown adoption which means every person in the world is using it then yes. I would use my Bitcoins if it's peer to peer transaction cause i dont have to worry about scarcity.
845  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why do whales move Bitcoin around from wallet to wallet? on: March 18, 2020, 08:57:08 AM
Probably they're diversifying their Cryptocurrencies and breaking it to smaller pieces cause they're probably thinking that "these wallets might have exploits resulting in security breach" basically they dony trust them. Especially with the recent hacks in Coinbase and other exchanges, that's just how i see it.
846  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: March 18, 2020, 05:54:21 AM
The Bitcoin price in my opinion is extremely oversold and the weak hands has already left the Cryptocurrency market. I would say the huge plunge that we've seen was the last of it, but the stock markets with their quantitative easing and using breaks to avoid panic will dump even more. With that, those investors will seek safe havens to store their money.
847  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil price War will Bring real War soon in Middle east on: March 18, 2020, 05:49:58 AM
Quite possible with the recession, the US government tried to stimulate the economy but no one is actually biting. Maybe this will start the real world war with the US backed against the wall, they will surely seek new source of money and middle east could be the first. If the stock markets continues to plummet then they may have to take action and this might be the end for fiat currencies.
848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term investment vs. Swing trading vs. Daily trading on: March 18, 2020, 04:40:55 AM
Honestly im also a long term trader and kind of a swing trader. Tried Day trading before and i can actually say that it's extremely difficult you need experience and knowledge to able to predict when to short and long position. I sometimes buy at a price then it dumps after. Sometimes i sell prematurely.
That's why i've given up and decided to be a hodler with the little amount i have left.
849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price drop 40% we thing causes "Corona virus" and world economic problem on: March 18, 2020, 04:33:34 AM
It seems that no one still is finding a cure for the virus even the best scientist in the world are still trial and testing vaccines and now that vaccine is on the early stage. Didn't expect it to affect Bitcoin though, it seems that the stock and Cryptocurrency market are correlated with each other.
But if these virus continues to spread we might be see a possible end of traditional money and Bitcoin taking over.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the position of the gambler in the market? on: March 18, 2020, 02:45:49 AM
What you're saying is gambling using properties ? that's some bizarre way to gamble for me, i haven't seen those types of people betting on. But that's probably a nice a idea some people could play with those stakes.
If you're looking to play gambling try going to the gambling there are tons of website there that offers lots of prices with a provably fair feature. Just only spend money you can afford to lose.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stop gambling in a time of crisis? on: March 18, 2020, 02:38:57 AM
If i have spare money then yes. Fortunately my salary is based in online so there's no problem for me. This time and day is the most convenient for me to gamble because i literally got nothing to do. The city that i lived in right now is like a ghost city due to the fear of the virus, most of the stores, restaurants and entertainment businesses is closed.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies? on: March 18, 2020, 12:51:07 AM
This is just a theory from The moon from youtube but according to him in the initial stages of the global economic crisis Bitcoin will do bad and will dump because some investors are cashing out to cover their losses in the stock market. And this prediction we're proven in this initial stage of the crisis, after this we should expect investors to appreciate the value of Bitcoin.
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friday the 13th unlucky for Bitcoin too! on: March 18, 2020, 12:38:26 AM
The $9200 in 2018 is not so bad because we're already jn the bear market. Also the 2020 price isn't exactly accurate because the price is on the $5200-5300 level. I'd say that this friday the 13th comparison is not exactly true. The is just extremely volatile and subject to wild swings, it got nthing to do with any superstitious event.
854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skilled trader or bullshitter? 📈 on: March 17, 2020, 01:46:26 PM
Yes  Smiley similar to eToro, but one important difference. You do not have to move your funds to Altpocket, you can keep trading at the exchanges you prefer.

You can find traders to follow in the performance toplists and get notifications in your phone as soon as they make a trade.

That's really nice, how do you even get the traders to share their position to others ?
would like to know if there are some feedback from users who have tried it and where do you get the API data from the top traders, is that even allowed ?
855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 17, 2020, 01:36:56 PM
Cryptocurrency trading wont get affected because all you really need to do is set on your chair and stare on your PC and the guys doing the maintenance of the trading exchanges are possibly working at remote or in a isolated cubicle, so trading is business as usual.

For me the perfect vaccine is to stay indoors until scientist finds the cure.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas closes casinos and hotels in lieu of coronavirus on: March 17, 2020, 12:37:05 PM
As a gambler, I would rather not gamble than suffer for a long time. I don't know but I don't feel any pain just because I can't gamble. But they are only doing this for the community and to prevent the virus from spreading even more. So it's not like we're gonna die if we cannot gamble. Yes, for those who are really having a hard time without gambling, the online casino is your best choice for now. With online gambling, you can still play without physically interacting with other gamblers so it's much safer for everyone. Right now technology is really playing a vital role for everyone. Not only in terms of gambling but in other cases like works, classes because of suspension and lockdown that other countries are experiencing right now.

Everyone is affected. And if you feel bored staying at home, you can gamble online to find yourself anything to do. But don't forget to make sure that the site you're playing is a legit and trusted one. Btw, keep safe everyone.

Indeed most casino's are stopping business due to fear of the coronavirus, but this should be an opportunity for those who haven't played online casino's or addicted to gambling to try the provably fair online gamblings sites. It comes with more bonuses and jackpot prices if this epidemic last for a few months we might even the real life casino's going online as well.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What To Do? (For People Who Mostly Gamble on NBA Games) on: March 17, 2020, 12:25:31 PM
Not just NBA but every sports in different country is either postponed or cancelled. You might not be able to play in sports betting games, but on the meantime you could try dice games or poker games they're also reliable because the games are fair. If that site has a provably fair feature to make sure the player is never cheated.
858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is Bitcoin useful as a currency if so few services accept it? on: March 17, 2020, 10:54:08 AM
Right now bitcoin can't shoulder the abilities of the traditional money because it's still in the early adoption stage. If large amount of people, also businesses uses it then maybe you could see some significance.

Bitcoin forte is in the lack of requirements to send money not unlike payment services such as paypal that takes 3-5 days and requires personal info, if you're sending a large amount.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60% Wiped Out - Will Bitcoin Have a Hard Time Finding Investors After This? on: March 17, 2020, 10:50:31 AM
I think no, from here on out Bitcoin will be widely known and popular as an alternative investment to safeguard people's money.
If the economic crisis continues to plague fiat and stock market investors/traders then some people might start venturing to other better and valuable asset such as Bitcoin, Gold or Silver.
860  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How To Use Bitcoin (Website) on: March 17, 2020, 07:53:18 AM
You should look for a Web Developer to do that, but if you can find a way to do this without code then certainly go for it. But if not, there are many users here that offers the Integration of Bitcoin payment method.

Considering the payment advantages yes its good and fast, reliable. But with the current market conditions the price significantly drop. But i suggest to also add anyways, it would be beneficial to you, the company and your customers considering also the stock market crashing.
