I've had a few issues with the POS version of the coin but no worries I am just about there after the third attempt, Got to make sure its 100% right  The swap is still on and will happen asap. All you need to do is keep your coins in the exchange and the swap will happen automatically. You don't need to unlist your sell or buy orders. Trading/deposits/withdrawals will be stopped for an hour whilst the exchange switched the wallets over.
Note (do not send any coins to the exchange at this time. I will manually swap those coins for you)
Once the swap is done I'm going to give the project some serious thought. I'm going to forget the custom mobile wallet. I can't pay 50K+ for something like that A better option would be an online wallet which I have looked in to a bit and this looks a lot more doable and would be just as useful for my target audience I want to see adopt the coin for donations. After the swap I will talk more about the purpose of the coin.
I am in this for the long haul. I know this is not ETH or BCH but that doesn't mean it can't become valuable with a little bit of effort and PR which will happen
after the swap.

I'm fine with that up to a point but if Cryptopia asked for the current listing fee for a new coin that would be over $4000.
and how about the coins on yobit?? is yobit gonna swap it 2?? the wallet is in maintanaince  I'm confident they will. The wallet is in maintenance because there hasn't been anyone mining for over a day. There was a window of opportunity once per day during the past few weeks for transferring coins to and from the wallet but maybe that has stopped now? I cannot rely on miners to keep the chain going hence the reason for the swap. Your coins will be automatically swapped in the exchange. Leave them there and you wont notice any difference. PS
If someone doesn't have their coins on an exchange I can swap them manually. Only a handful of people will require manual swapping, my self included. |

SWAP UPDATEStill happening of course. Coin will be created tomorrow, run some tests and then I will have to notify the exchanges. Looks like I will incur charges and as long as they are not to high I can accommodate that. if the price for the swap on Cryptopia is a full listing price which is currently close to 1 BTC that could be an issue. I thought swapping a coin that was already on an exchange was free. It seems that is not the case. I'm working on it and will update asap .if we lost one of the exchanges I would not cry. I would see that as an advantage temporarily, if you know what I mean.

2 years from now ff all were mined, I think there would be over 100million.
I have 3 million. 2 million of those are for funding the custom wallet but that wont happen for a while as price needs to get higher to help out with the costs. They need to be sold off slowly. There should be 10 million in circulation.
My early predictions. 4 million will likely be needed to fund the custom wallet. I have that. When the swap is done the supply will be under 40 million and there will be decent POS rewards. |

Not trying to contradict you dev, but no guarantees that yobit will follow through, at least not in a timely manner. I'm in another coin where dev has paid for swap to occur on yobit and it has been about a week or so after the payment and no swap or news of when a swap is going to occur. The wallet for that coin has also been down and just recently came up today for me to be able to manually swap out my coins. Anyway, my point is that yobit does what it wants on its own timeframe and there's a possibility that they could never or at the very least take a great deal of time to switch to the new wallet. Currently, the yobit wallet is marked as delayed and hopefully it catches up, but like I said in a comment before, if you are interested in buying some coins before this gets swapped I'd buy my coins on cryptopia to be on the safe side.
Yes they can be a bit wirey. Fingers crossed they will attend to it in a timely manner but even if it were delayed it wont make much of a difference to the holders of the first version of the coin (I hope)  If they didn't swap it over then it would mean Marx is only on Cryptopia which might not be such a bad thing. |

I'd suggest buying from cryptopia because when a wallet on yobit is down it usually has a tendency to stay down, even with swap requests etc... Considering how well btc has been doing lately and if it continues to see a steady climb or at least go up in a years time from the current price this coin is too cheap at its supply not to do well. With pos being implemented this alone should raise the price, but I know you were considering masternode implementation like a page or so back if I'm not mistaken dev. You were just asking if you should go for this earlier. I think if you advertise/advocate for masternodes you will probably see an initial price spike in this coin, enough for you to sell off some of your coins in order to fund development, but I don't think it is a must. I think a swap to pos is good enough by itself, but if you are interested in making this a masternode coin at these prices it is most definitely a steal and will attract fresh eyes on the coin to say the very least. I'm not too worried about price over time in general because price is going to rise as new money comes into cheaper alts with active devs/development.

It's due to lack of miners which means long transaction delays when sending to or from the exchanges to wallets. Its very much looking like I will need to implement the coin swap and create a POS Marx Coin. Miners do work the coin but its sporadic. Nothing to worry about yet but I am making preparations for a switch. Would go a lot quicker if the exchanges responded to my requests for how to swap the coin inside the exchanges. I could do it manually but it would be much better if done automatically. ill also hit up the exchanges again about this. I appreciate the updates. I have some MARX coin I purchased on Cryptopia, and I will hold for a while. I pulled my sell orders. Communication with exchanges can be irritating work, especially if they are potentially slowing development. Maybe some members of the community here would be willing to help with certain aspects of the coin? I know that cv2 raised funds for the creation of a wallet. Maybe this isn't needed, but I'd like to see this coin with some more volume. There is a good opportunity here. Thanks for the comment The creation of the custom wallet with messaging would really help the project enormously. It would be the anchor for all future PR and I could def see Marx coin move in to the activist donation territory. But need to get that wallet. You're suggestion of funding is something I have thought about but I have a 5 million premine which is intended to finance the wallet creation (in theory). So for now let's see if the price can rise naturally but its def something for me to think about. |

nice update, i will hodl litlle longer on it . btw when will be a pos ?? and will there an masternode also ?? I put that on hold when the dumping stopped. I think I will do it when the coin is about to halve the mining rewards. Do you think I should do it sooner? (i ncidentally there was some decent movement of the coin today) thx for the quick reply... no hurry ( yet) , so i will wait but indeed nice movements today Yup, I wonder if we will look back at the pre 100 sats days with fond memories thinking aah, I should have bought more... |
