The addresses that had been receiving 3% from the beginning should automatically be airdrop any bonuses without re-registering. Or should already automatically re-registered. I have supported BTX from the beginning. So, I checked my wallet this morning and no 25% and register on the main page link.
Some of us also went on vacation or sick or what not, 1.5 weeks is not enough. Folks with BTC had months to registered. Make your next airdrop parabolic. It will encourage the whales to consolidate their coins into 1 address. Yes, they will get more coins, but they won't hog up 50+ spots and free up spots for the minnows to get some coins.

Alternative solution: Let every bitcointalk forum member with a rank higher than "Member" provide one airdrop address, and then "airdrop" 10 BTX to that address. (We will anyway not get more than 1000 user by this forum, so the airdrop should be smaller but fairer) This way you can more or less assure a fair distribution without concentration to whales. Edit: The criteria could also be, that only an address with atleast 1 BTX coin inside is eligible for the airdrop, thus you can be sure that the person contributed to the coin either by - Mining

- Marketbuy

it's simple.
the only way to increase users is damaging exchangers and cheaters.
and i remain about my idea to don't make the giveaway to address with transaction in last X days.
exchangers will be fucked off.
and people will try to increase their balance as much as possible to collect them.
lower btx circulating = higher price to buy them.
higher price = someone could decide to sell their and ignoring the giveaway.
trading will not suffer so much. (the volume is already low currently. so who care it)
giveaways will end at a certain point so i don't see the problem for who think that giving free coins is a damage.
all people who don't like this system is only because they want to profit abusing the system.
reward balanced to all people is better than to few people.
you don't like = you are the ones that want to abuse it probably.
remember that the coin is live cause people using it. if 3-4 people control it enjoy it and say goodbye.
it's ok to make rich people richer. but it's also ok to make poor people richer.
if you keep having the top 1000 method you will fail soon...
think yourself. this is a pure consideration. and people who really care about this coin know i am right.

It's quite a difficult decision und you can't be everybody's darling.
trust me. a little miner (like me) got only 0.1-1 BTX in 1-2 weeks... so what is the sense of it? they can mine other coins and than excanging for BTX. (it's cheaper and faster) and real miner with many MH/s-GH/s won't die for that and they simply can move balance every X days. if you want to cut out exchanger and unfair people i am sure this will be a nice solution. we could make a voting. and i am sure that little users will agree with me (and i am sure also bigger users) for who think i say this only for my own interest consider that i'm a medium user with a medium balance i tried mining btx (with medium devices) and it was a waste of time/money. i am getting more btx mining Aeon/Xmr reselling them for BTX so i know what i'm talking. and in this way you increase the exchanging request because people want to store much more coin possible. |

Just because I'm curious, why do you wanna cut out mining addresses? because mining is in hands of few people with big rigs... normal users with normal gpu can not afford mining of this coin... and miners can simply move coins from mining address to an other every X coins. i don't think they will have problems to do a simple action like this. |

as said in previous post an idea for giveaway could be to give a % of BTX to all wallet that have a minimum of X BTX (i.e. 30 btx) but with the particular condition of no transactions in last 10/15 days. in this way: 1- you will also cut out the mining address and exchanger addresses. 2- the request (and price) will increase because people will store as many btx as possible to get the %. 3- attract new user because the dev is assuring (or anyway tring to assure) a fair play system for giveaway. 4- you will cut out the shitty splitters that made transaction only for the giveaway in the last minutes/hours so if someone collect some btx (suppose 50-100) he will store them in a new address (avoiding to wait 10/15 more days transferring to his main address) and for who say that waiting the 10 days could be a negative thing consider that it is a negative thing for all (and let's say... is it really so much waiting 10/15 days?) |

please no. so all people with 5000 btx will split in 100 address of 50 each and will get 1000 btx cheating. The idea of making the time to last transaction somewhat a limit is quite nice. But how do you want to attract new users then? Because they won't be able to take part in the next airdrop because of the last transaction limit they would be only able to take part at the after next airdrop and that's not a really nice outlook. Also as far as I see it, you would only skip as many airdrops as fit in the set time limit. As an example, if you now split your account in 4 with enough funds to be in the Top XXXX they won't take part in the actual air drop, but in the next if the limit is anything like under 7 days. You get what I'm thinking? A good distribution of something like these airdrops on anonymous addresses is, in my opinion a such difficult problem, I don't get why nobody was thinking about that weeks earlier instead of just starting it this way. By setting any limits you are most of the times making trading or buying new coins less attractive. This is something you don't wanna have. Aren't there any blockchain mechanisms that would provide a solution for this problem? all of us made sure a transaction in last hours/days so we all have same problem. not only new one. the steps will be quite easy: 1- create a new address or use an old one. 2- store all btx possible in it 3- collect a probable 5% every week (if there are no movement) in this way if you collected X btx on exchanger (suppose 100 btx) move them in a new address and store them to get % also there after 2 weeks. this will encourage users tu buy as many btx possibile in trading and encourage people to store them in a local wallet. the request of btx will increase cause many people would have as much more big wallet as possible to get the bigger % possible. and in this way you cut out exchanger address. avoiding to make richer cryptopia instead of users. this could be lazy to do for developer. but it will assure more fair play and most important this can really attract more users cause honest reward system. |

It is not just a problem of fairness, which is subjective, it is a problem of adoption base, which is objective. Value of a currency is based on how large the adoption base it. I've already suggested dev should think at HOW to make it larger, but this trick of splitting coins is actually SHRINKING the user base. Because of the splittings the 1000 richest guys are perhaps only 500 - or even less, and they'll become less and less. And once the big airdrop will arrive, too few people having too many coins will cause a rush of who dumps first but there will be nobody to dump to, because user base will be not big enough. BTW, I'm splitting coins too, since this is the game, but I suggest to improve the rules of distribution.

currently limit is over 42 BTX where can you check this? ,someone said it was 13 last week so it will be at least 52 BTX next by the following airdrop after today ? If it keeps the same progression it'll be 200 BTX+  In that case, game over I guess i agree... the coin will be famous only if people will join it. but if people will be cut away by these ones... i have about 90btx but i won't split just to get 2x rewards. |
