Пока не очень понимаю как проект планирует бороться с бедностью. То есть как новая платежная система позволит решить этот вопрос.

Меня вот тоже интересует. Проект преследует такие прекрасные цели. Так что он однозначно стоит внимания.

always the ones with metal around the edge of the hole, plastic for non metal edged holes...
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Temperature for mining within a grow tent on: February 17, 2018, 01:27:30 AM
That's nice, but isn't 45c for air and 73-80c for gpus a bit on the high end? Your gpu fans must be running at 80% all the times right?

not really, if i leave the fan on low its about 55c in the tent. fans on the cards were running 30ish% until i tuned them up to 40-45ish% psus, switch, PDU are all in the tent as well. too much to me is over 60c for ambient air. technically a gpu should work over 90c but it gets unstable around 85c since i underclock.

I use a tier shelving unit 7ft high 2ft deep by 4 ft wide. Have a cover on it. 36 x 580rx. Air in it is 45c. Cards around 73c-80c and I have a 6inch duct grow op fan sucking air out of it. The smaller the cubic ft area you have, the quicker the air is changed. I looked at it like cubic ft area with cfm 440cfm ÷ (4x2x7=56) = 7.85 times per minute. Then divide 60 seconds by the result. 7.62 seconds air is totally changed in that area. I'm happy with it and it keeps everything cool. Just my cents 100w fan vs 1500w a.c.....
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better 1U 4GPU or 3U 8GPU? on: February 06, 2018, 05:33:13 AM
probably the 3u for less noise plus more space. back in the day i bought a rosewill 4u and modded it, got backplates that were only psu and pcie slots all the way across, drilled holes and put standoffs for the motherboard in the front of the unit. little bit of work but fit 6 cards in it with a cheap board and still run it to this day. The other way is to get tiered shelf unit for 60usd, you could put 72 cards on a full rack front or double it with cards along both sides and psu motherboards on it nice and cheap just put some big space fans on it to cool everything with gpu fan profiles adjusted up a little from stock. dont get me wrong i like rackmounts but thats alot of money wasted... imo
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Issue 160W picoPSU with Biostar TB250-BTC on: November 12, 2017, 02:09:20 AM
i did a setup like this with the 250btc and fried alot of boards, pcie barrel jack with an adapter to power the 8pin from the same pcie cable from the breakout board. i just ended up buying small psus to run the boards but i recommend using the power plug from the pico 4 pin to power cpu even thought it will draw more from the pico, hopfully the cpu is a low power one so you wont require the 8pin. i also think that these motherboards are built way too cheap and the power is too unstable from a pcie for a board like this, if it was a gaming board then it would have better components and would be able to take that power. just my thoughts tho

I’m new to crytocurrencies, so sorry if these are some really obvious questions but here they go. Now, there are several different coins and ICOs out there. Are they any different than Bitcoin or are they basically all the same thing? Like do they all work on the same ‘blockchain’? Also, how do I virtually hold these coins? Is there a website for this at all? Thanks for anyone willing to help out a complete noob!

How new are you? Try checking out some beginner videos on youtube for an easier explanation
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BIOSTAR TB250-BTC on: July 09, 2017, 10:57:15 PM
update to 503 bios (min, they have 600 bios now but i use the 503) and set mining mode to 6vga and all is well, dont change anything else. i got systems running 6x rx580 with tb250-btc boards.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Finally! 7 RX 580 + MSI Z170a mining rig on: June 11, 2017, 07:59:49 AM
I have msi z270-a pro. Had to install all 6 cards leave decoding off. Windows shows all cards but some dont have resources. Install latest 17.6.1 then change decoding to enabled and all works. I had to unplug gpus when changing decoding because the bios went all wonky if i didnt.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 6 GPU Ether Mining With Ryzen 7 1800x on: June 07, 2017, 12:09:14 AM
deepinthemines is over priced by alot. i bought tb250-btc from china for $95 usd each compared to 150-170 from deepinthemines. Junmax, just send him a msg on facebook and he has stock come in and out and probably will have or can get the amd ones as well. ive bought twice from him with fast shipping and he is quick, reliable.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 6 GPU Ether Mining With Ryzen 7 1800x on: June 06, 2017, 09:15:56 PM
Nope - bigger issue.  According to Biostar re: B350 BTC MOBO -  official AMD driver for RX580 has a limit for 5 GPU, so if you are  going with Ryzen's you may need to rethink your GPU.

if you use the method of downloading an earlier driver and over lap the newer driver, it has worked for me recognizing 6gpu's, i have used different drivers then mentioned here 17.5 but should work the same.

I was able to get 6 x RX-500 series running on windows 10 x64. After two days the stupidest thing I tried worked  Grin.
1. use DDU to clean the PC from any previous drivers.
2. Disable 4G decoding so you can log into windows (only  for Z170,H170, etc.)
3. Extract older driver for RX 400 series in Drive C: (I use 16.9.2 )
4. Extract driver for RX 500 series in Drive C: (I use 17.4.3)
5. Copy and replace all content from "C:\AMD\Non-WHQL-Win10-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-16.9.2-Sep21\Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF\B307117"  to "C:\AMD\WHQL-Win7-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-17.4.3-Apr17\Packages\Drivers\Display\W76A_INF\B313057" (Basically you copy the old driver over the new)
6. Install the VGA cards manually from Device manager in Windows pointing path to the new driver 17.4.3 in this case.
7. Reboot and enable 4G Decoding in Bios
8. Enjoy if it works for you.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 3 motherboards fried trying to get a 7th GPU work on: June 06, 2017, 05:36:15 AM
Finksy on these forums. My plan now is to just buy 300w seasonic psus to power the boards only and use the 2000w psus for the graphic cards. Should be good I hope
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 3 motherboards fried trying to get a 7th GPU work on: June 04, 2017, 09:20:35 AM
i currently have a similar situation, mind you im running only 6 cards per machine (tb250-btc) and using a 4kw psu with a pico. i power the board and it burns between the cpu and the backplate (under the heatsink, vrm?), at first i thought it was a ground issue so i wired a ground from the Power Distribution Unit to a screw on a standoff to the motherboard. it powered fine (4 systems) then i got to the 5th and it fried, a pop sound then smoke etc. then i tried to power up the first system i did earlier that was working and it popped and burned. im stumped now... my option now is to take off the picos and power the boards with a 300w or so real psu and just power the cards from the 4kw but not sure if that is a great idea but i would know its solid grounded through the psu instead of make shift.. just to add im not plugging in molex plugs into the two aux connectors, would that make a difference? cause all 6 are on risers just like OP, 006c risers and powered with a pcie.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: farm setup 3-4 MB vrm pops on: May 14, 2017, 01:19:35 AM
these are picopsu 150w, connected to dps-2000bb 2000w psu 4kw(2 x 2000w psu together) unit connected to a ap7811 PDU. after spending most of the day looking and testing components i think it was from no ground points to the motherboards. since picopsu's don't have grounds in the atx connector like a normal psu. I was thinking the 2000w psu's would be grounded and them touching the tier shelving would ground mind you the bottom tier isnt touching the 4kw. I have an old system sitting around and will use it to test the tier shelving out, this time ill put the system on a piece of wood or cardboard to separate it but ill also ground the board at the screw to the PDU unit (common ground). unless im missing anything, as for metal etc ive had no issues in the past with it but i have always used a normal PSU and not a picopsu.

the 4kw can easily handle 4 systems of 6 cards, especially when its not mining. im running 6 systems with 2 x 4kw psu units 4-2. the burning occurred right when i power the system on.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / farm setup 3-4 MB vrm pops on: May 13, 2017, 07:17:36 PM
im in a hurt here, i setup two systems out of 6 yesterday not a problem, bottom of the rack. then today i wired the rest very neatly etc. go to turn on the 3,4,5,6 and first one fire on the vrm under the heatsink next to cpu. 4th same place but caught it before it got bad, 5th i heard a pop but couldn't find anything, 6th a chip on the top of the mb burned a little. This sucks but things happen. i took pics of the mb setup and my pdu. you can see i have the mb's on aluminum standoffs 1" and its sitting on a piece of flashing. the pico ground in on the standoff cause its a round jack for pico power from a pcie cable. not sure what i need to do to fix this possible short? like i said i didnt have a problem with the two on the bottom but then 3-4,5-6 had problems... any help is good help.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBPolaris V2.56 - BIOS editor for RX4XX and RX5XX cards on: May 13, 2017, 02:31:00 AM
im trying to figure out the vddc as well, i set it to 1068 for a card because its not as high quality as the others. im using afterburner to tune the cards which all are -60mv(1037-1068mv) but this one is -48mv(1093-1131mv) so i put in the low numbers and set everything to the min values shown here then it just puts it all back to original and runs that from what i see in afterburner after flashing and restarting... im running 580 pulse 8gb hynix cards
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Rebrand - RX570 / RX580 - Official Thread on: May 12, 2017, 11:56:48 PM
Im setting up 36 x rx580 pulse 8gb cards with hynix ram, ive followed the editor, tried adjusting settings and have no luck so far making big changes to the first 6 cards. i have all 6 showing and running on a tb250-btc and just need a modded bios for them, if someone has a modded bios i could get off of them that would go a long way in helping me out. also a guide to editing straps, undervolt, etc in the order you have to do it would be great. ive spent half the day working on it and will continue to search but maybe in the meantime someone can direct me (might be faster) Tongue thanks
