2  Economy / Auctions / Re: WTS: 2012 McLaren MP4-12C 3.8L 616HP Supercar on: March 19, 2014, 02:19:32 AM
I'm closing this auction, as it didn't receive any offers above the starting price.

Thanks anyway guys.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time for me to say goodbye? I have been hacked left right and center on: March 14, 2014, 02:06:21 AM
Faucets, giveaways, pay-per-post, and other "make bitcoin online" schemes aren't going to net much except in extraordinary circumstances. If you really want Bitcoin, get a job and convert some of your paycheck to Bitcoin every week.

As for the fact that you got hacked hacked 3 times... I'd recommend you do more research on how to safely store Bitcoins. There are a number of secure storage methods, and it sounds like you weren't using any of them.

have there been any valid bids yet?

Not quite... I have someone who's arranging to come see the car next week though.

6  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Are you building a bitcoin app or web site? on: March 08, 2014, 08:58:43 AM
I am starting a new company that could help you. I would like to launch alongside to you to help show what my company can do so PM me.

You can leave questions here and I will answer them. (Nothing like what exactly does the company do, what is the site, etc)

You're advertising a service without explaining what you're offering, and explicitly telling people not to ask what your company does. This doesn't make sense...

I agree with you, and I am really putting a lot of weight to my reputation. And the only reason I am not explicitly saying to people what the company actually does cause I am not launching now. I am looking to partner with people. So everyone that has PMed me about this post, I have told exactly what the company is and what I am doing.

For anyone curious just like email servers are a service, I making bitcoin nodes a service. Also we are not a wallet service, but we are a watch only wallet. So that is the basics.

We also have a bit of funding Wink

I see, good luck with your project.

8  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Project]PHP5 Bitcoin API[Project] on: March 08, 2014, 08:11:11 AM
I'm not sure if I understand... Is this project meant to be an API to interact with bitcoin daemon software like bitcoind?

What are you trying to accomplish outside of what projects like JSON-RPC-PHP and Easybitcoin-PHP already do?
9  Economy / Auctions / Re: WTS: 2012 McLaren MP4-12C 3.8L 616HP Supercar on: March 07, 2014, 03:20:40 AM
Okay I'm raising my offer to 11 BTC.  I'm still the highest bidder....I don't joke about my bitcoins.

Well, if BTC rises ~20x in the next few days the car will be yours.  Wink
10  Economy / Auctions / Re: WTS: 2012 McLaren MP4-12C 3.8L 616HP Supercar on: March 06, 2014, 02:25:40 AM
Probably the coolest thing I've seen auctioned here, however I think you might be better off listing this on bitpremier if you are starting bidding at 150k. Best of luck with sale  Smiley

That is the coolest thing I've seen auctioned here.
Wow, OP hope you find a buyer.

Have many of our richest members left due to scandals, cashing out, etc?

Thanks! I've received a couple PMs here and on Reddit. I think the early Bitcoiners are still around.

To see if this car is legitimately being auctioned off for Bitcoins, perhaps you should talk to the current dealership that owns it: http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/search/DRauSearchDetails.aspx?itemid=1903516

Here's proof of service records in case you're still doubting that I own the car:

There were selling it for me on consignment a couple months ago, but I ended up taking it back. You're welcome to call the dealership and ask about who the owner is. Also, you can see in the original post that I posted a scan of the title.

Any serious buyer is going to come see the car in-person before purchasing it anyway.
12  Economy / Auctions / Re: WTS: 2012 McLaren MP4-12C 3.8L 616HP Supercar on: March 05, 2014, 01:35:52 AM
Thanks for the responses so far, everyone.

do you have any actual photos of the car your selling?

Check my original post. Those are "actual photos." Not stock photos.
13  Economy / Auctions / Re: WTS: 2012 McLaren MP4-12C 3.8L 616HP Supercar on: March 04, 2014, 05:02:06 PM
I want to correct the original post but editing isn't allowed.

I'm looking at my emails and I think the original purchase date was actually 10/23/12 (listed as "TRANSFER DATE" on the title). My original post referenced the "ISSUE DATE" which isn't actually the date of purchase.

Sorry for the error. I'm traveling right now so I don't have access to the original sales docs atm.

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ingredients for the next price rally on: March 01, 2014, 10:56:45 PM
A ton of Bay Area VC money (Andreessen Horowitz, Google Ventures, Founders Fund, etc.) has been pouring into Bitcoin-related startups. Prepare for a lot more user-friendly services/products to open the door for more newbies.

Winklevoss ETF is on its way too.

What's the raw transaction? Run this:

Code:
bitcoind getrawtransaction 0d32dec3feea7f48d2b7b7ae99686e48403ea9f7f135688c9d2547aa75998fb0

Then try broadcasting it from here: https://coinb.in/send-raw-transaction.html
