21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with ERC20 tokens when ICO gone REKT? on: September 16, 2019, 09:44:19 AM
So now we hold thousands of erc20 tokens from REKT ICO. Bounties, buys, failed ICO and so on.
What can be done with them?
My wallet is filled with airdropped tokens from dead projects, few small investments, bounty.
Burning them will waste ethereum so it is best to just forget about them.
I think it is better if you hold it and try to advertise it to other users. By that if many users will use that token, somehow there a chance that it can have a value. But for the mean time just hold it and hope for the best to happen.
Dead token doesn't have value and it never will.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: need ethereum, selling MoCo token on: September 15, 2019, 08:19:46 PM
moco token has with the value of around $2100 with amount of 120K
Where does it have such number of value? I checked etherscan link and it shows zero value. Have you referred to ICO/IEO value? I don't think people will buy $2100 worth of ICO token with $1700.
ICO price is $0.018, mirgo1791 sells tokens for $0.014. I studied MoCO https://icobench.com/ico/moco, warning on kyc, IEO on p2pb2b exchange, no thanks.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could a nonprofit school do an ICO? on: September 15, 2019, 06:50:17 PM
If there was a small group of customers (families and prospective families), would that shorten the time for the ICO? Looking for creative fundraising ideas for a small private school that lost its building. Thanks!
Everyone can do ICO but what will be usage of tokens other than appreciation for donation? Go straight forward with donations for lost building, no ICO is needed for that.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: September 15, 2019, 06:44:04 PM
Patience is not present only at people who earn a little, they want to get the invested money back very quickly and usually they lose them.
That is gambling, not investing, it happens when someone hear from friend how they made money investing in crypto and they think only thing they have to do is to invest and money will come by default, waiting for something to grow doesn't seem like an option.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: September 14, 2019, 09:34:13 PM
The bounty campaign project announced by legendary, I believe...
Because the legendary understood the project so he was willing, even though he was not part of the team.
Legendary rank does not make someone smarter, just longer here.
I would treat it like it was newbie account posting announcement thread for project and research it.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DOGETO.COM - Dogecoin hourly faucet on: September 14, 2019, 09:17:03 PM

All faucets have short life time, no one uses them any more, no one wants to waste time for nothing.
Find better ways to earn crypto, discover new things, research forum.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you worried that France and Germany agree to block Facebook's Libra? on: September 14, 2019, 08:34:34 PM
Hypocritical move, banning one crypto and leaving all other crypto's as legit. I don't know what is so bad about libra that it calls for a ban by France and Germany but it certainly reminds that banks are regulating everything. We are fine as long they don't touch other cryptocurencies, especially bitcoin.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: About bounty program on: September 14, 2019, 10:32:05 AM
-most of bounty campaign here didn't accept newbie to participant on their campaign, but for some bounty the accept it, just keep searching here.
I didn't find bounty which will accept newbies but newbies may join other bounty programs (twitter, facebook, reddit, telegram and other bounties) and nowadays many projects don't have bitcointalk signature bounty program.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big prize for 1 participant in a signature campaign? on: September 14, 2019, 09:08:36 AM
for example: prize allocation for a campaign (signature) is around 2,000,000 tokens and if the project only has 1 participant in the campaign (signature) and when the project has been completed or not scammed, is it true that the participant will get the sum of all tokens (signatures)?
or maybe not at all,  for other reasons?
Only in theory. Campaigns will always have more than just one participant and reward allocation will drop if there are few participants.
according to common sense if the developer gives it all in automatically the participant will sell it immediately when it receives, and then a dump occurs.
The same event will occur with many bounty participants, in this case one participant will sell everything and in case with many bounty participants everyone will sell, final result should be the same.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it safe to exchange big amounts? on: September 14, 2019, 08:34:15 AM
You should do the transaction in stages. Quite risky if you directly trade in large numbers on an exchange that is not compatible. For better and safer service, my advice is to use another, more trusted exchange, like the advice of other members.
Good advice, you can never know what could go wrong (hack, human error).
if you want to make large exchanges, I suggest you use trusted exchanges such as Binance or KuCoin, they have security stability
Binance was hacked recently, so much for security. Better do more smaller transfers and exchanges than one big.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest crypto regret on: September 08, 2019, 11:03:20 PM
My greatest crypto regret was when a friend wanted to give me 6btc in 2010 and i told him this 'you are just wasting your time with all this useless internet things' and even the guy wasnt sure if what is holding will worth it in future so the guy replied 'it costs me nothing' ,after few months i stop seeing the guy again even till date,i thinks he is not in my city anymore, what is your greatest crypto regret?
Not listening to friend early enough and when I decided to go in, listening fud.
Frankly, I don't look at the past too much, I am happy with my position as it is.
I have made many mistakes in the past but I adopted and doing opposite of what I was doing and it turned out just fine.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Says China Zombie is a serious company with serious goals on: September 07, 2019, 03:50:50 PM
I can't believe of this project too, is anyone really taking this Zombie coin seriously?
When was the last time you have seen a zombie?
This is worth to read https://iammcafee.com/content/site/docs/czcoin-Whitepaper-Preliminary.pdf, John talks about godzila, aliens, zombies.
Any other links to prove it?

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: For serious investors (Daily Passive Incomes) on: September 07, 2019, 03:24:54 PM
Today earnings :

That is less than a 2$.
How much Artis tokens are you holding to get such rewards daily? and what's your initial investment a year ago?

Well, the exchange looks not bad, and the concept of sharing its earnings with the token holders is also genuine, I will take a look later, and make my own research about this exchange.

Approx 3 millions Artis tokens
At this price that is $9K and it will take more than 12 years for ROI. They need much bigger trading volume to make it worth investing but it looks like it is dropping?
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who is to be blame? BM or BH on: September 07, 2019, 01:14:49 PM
You have a right to blame the bounty manager if the amount of money is less form your expectation. I mean, you took an instance with different cases, 1 dollar will have the same value because the dollar price is not have volatility price. Different with cryptocurrency which is have a high volatility, I won't blame bounty manager if the payment for each bounty hunter is $500 and the bounty manager will send the amount of token which have the same value to $500 whatever the amount of the token.
I am saying if someone is to blame that is company or team. I did not say bounty manager is guilty as they can't do anything if company decide to lower rewards so BM can't be blamed. It is not important how much is something worth, signing contract for one amount of tokens should give you that number of tokens which you agreed to be payed in and team agreed to pay you. Each bounty has its own set of rules and each one should be looked at in a different way. If it happens that team wants to send less tokens for only reason because bounty hunter will receive too much money when they exchange tokens to fiat, that is scamming bounty hunters and breaking a deal, of course, it has nothing to do with bounty manager, neither bounty hunters or bounty managers are to be blamed.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who is to be blame? BM or BH on: September 04, 2019, 10:09:39 PM
The reason this forum's altcoins section run is because we have these bounty campaigns.
Alternate cryptocurrencies section exists since 2011. and that is a long way before bounty campaigns. Bounties or no bounties, section will run.
why bounties are not jobs then it it because it is not. Accept it or not is not my problem.
Bounty is not a job because it is not a job? It is job if it brings profit, for many it is main source of income so for many it is a job.
Also a team does not guarantee any payment, I am not sure why you dont understand this but this is true and its not a scam because it was already declared by the manager since the start of the campaign.
You don't understand if team break agreement it is scam. It is not worth to continue this conversation.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who is to be blame? BM or BH on: September 02, 2019, 03:54:24 PM
I made an error referring to bounty managers as they, I was thinking about company or team who run ICO.

A bounty campaign is not a job.
For what is worth, it is a job for someone who can make living out of it.

Stop thinking about bounties as small time jobs with fixed payments like those in real life they are not
I would like to hear argument rather than opinion.

this wrong thinking process leads to this type of accusations being made even if he bounty manager is a person who is leninent enough to make sure everyone gets paid. You guys dont think from both sides and take into account only your own part.
Mighty_crypt asked who is to blame. Bounty hunters are hired by company, not bounty manager and bounty manager is payed to find bounty hunters for company, count posts and stakes. Company is employer and make rules about payment. Employer (BM is not employer) is to blame if they change rules

after bounty finished

unless this is within the rules

it will vary according to amount raised

If no amount is raised them you will get nothing for whatever you do

Making agreement with BHs and saying they will pay 3% of raised funds, changing payment after bounty is finished and paying less than 3% of raised funds is scamming BHs.
Making agreement with BHs and saying they will pay 3% of total number of tokens, changing payment after bounty is finished and paying less than 3% is scamming BHs.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Believes Dogecoin “Will Go To The Moon” on: September 01, 2019, 01:59:43 PM
it seems like this will only be a speculation, because if we look at the doge in reality, it is still very far to be said to be able to rise to the moon. but if it's true john mcafee says that, it means that something big is going to happen to dogecoin.
we wait ......
You should not take John McAfee serious, nothing is happening with doge for years and nothing is going to happen now.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: September 01, 2019, 01:45:28 PM
The benefits of an investment is called returns which takes years to accomplish so its never going to be easy for those looking for short term ROI and yet fundraising like IEO still brings short term profit for smart investors,i think almost all new crypto investors lacks patience
Investment is something which should be looked for long period of time, those who invested to make profit immediately after tokens reach exchange are very bad investors. Investor has to learn to be patient, sometimes several years are needed to reach goals, these short profit seekers are not investors, they are traders.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days on: September 01, 2019, 01:28:03 PM
My experience so far with bounty this year have been bad and it is not as profitable as it used to be. Mainly bounty hunters don't really get good projects that will pay and those that pay just pay a penny which is not worth the time and energy put into the work.
My question is, is it possible to still make a living from bounty or we should just move on from it?
From my experience you can't make a living from a bounty any more but you could make extra income from it. Use this forum to gather and spread information and while doing that grab free tokens. When I joined first bounty I expected to get only few buck and I was good with it, on my surprise sum was significantly larger. What I want to say is be happy with little you earn from this forum, one day you will find good project and reward will compensate all small rewards you have received. Doing this as main source of income? No buddy, get a real job.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who is to be blame? BM or BH on: August 31, 2019, 03:00:07 PM
Numerous bounties have as of now says it all in their standards and guidelines that BM can change the rules anytime so bounty hunters should realize that changes can occur anytime aswell
Anytime does not mean they (company, ICO team) can change rules after bounty is over and work is done. Imagine that you are bartender, you arrange deal with your employer for $500 per month, after a month of hard work your employer gives you $10 and say, I change rules of our deal because I can do that. You wouldn't blame yourself in this situation.
