341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hay taken over by sharks on: March 14, 2018, 11:18:31 AM
So we're calling whales, sharks now?  Grin
Probably poker player  Grin

The bitcoin market has become increasingly difficult for investors,
not for investors!
the only thing that has gotten difficult is for newbies who want to get rich over night. because bitcoin price is nearly stable and is not rising 100% every two months these newbies find it difficult!
OP would probably like to see bitcoin going to 15K and back to 12K than again back to 15K in 10 minutes. Many newbies are confused and think bitcoin is get rich over night, well it isn't  Smiley

prices are increasingly volatile and uncontrolled
bitcoin price has always been volatile, and right now the volatility of it is actually decreased compared to last two months.
Better slow and stable than fast grow and crash even faster.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: teach your children about bitcoin on: March 14, 2018, 11:11:16 AM
hello guys , i just want to share what am i doing right now to my children, i have a 10 year old kid , he is david . this coming summer i want to teach him about cryptocurrency. especially bitcoin, from his young age i want to share him my knowledge about this kind of things.
Don't you think it is better that you learn him to chase chicks?

im happy that he is excited a little bit however it's so hard to explain but then i use some examples like video games as a reference about bitcoin. probably it might be the easiet way to understand how this things works. for example bitcoin is like a video games, you need to do a lot of research about bitcoin to know it and ask some people what  they know about bitcoin or  like experiences  , like games you need to do a lot of practice to mastered the games , can someone help me about this ?
Bitcoin is nothing like video games. Video games are not real. Bitcoin is.

Don't forget to teach your kid about all these crypto regulations, don't forget to tell him that he is not allowed to use any money related service because he is under 18, teach him how to pay tax. Teach him all important thinks that adults should know about money.

Honestly, if you were my father I would told you to go fuck yourself.  Cheesy

Let the kid alone and don't push him with your dreams, if he want to learn it he will do it himself when the time is right.  Roll Eyes
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GOVERNMENTS CAN CONTROL CRYPTOCURRENCY on: March 14, 2018, 11:00:43 AM
No, they can't, but they can control exchanges, credit card companies and money which is exchanged from crypto.

No one can control crypto itself.
344  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin falls again: how to react on: March 14, 2018, 10:58:14 AM
It doesn't matter, fud is always around, people need to start using bitcoin as payment method, that's it. but if everyone see bitcoin only as investment instrument it is doomed to fail.
Not only bitcoin, crypto market will fail if everyone is investing in it and no one is using it.
345  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [HELP] Bitcoin prepaid card on: March 14, 2018, 10:38:07 AM
I was thinking more about service such as skrill or neteller(not a bank  Cheesy) but they don't have options which I need, I can use their card to pay online merchants but I need card for daily use.

I didn't understand why mastercard removed their services all around world and why is card available only for EU residents, but I think I am getting picture.

With EEA regulations and sharing information between EU banks and putting all things together, if I want to use such card I will have to pay tax to my country and fees to mistertango(and lower exchange rates than bitstamp has) and it looks like larger waste of money than just withdrawing money to bank account and only paying tax.  Undecided

Thanks for answer.  Cry
346  Economy / Service Discussion / [HELP] Bitcoin prepaid card on: March 13, 2018, 11:58:22 PM
I need it for buying in supermarkets and to withdraw money from ATM.

Suggest me one.

Only 100% verified answers please(for EU countries, if this makes any difference)
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $ 5000. should start where on: March 09, 2018, 04:18:42 PM
I have $ 5000. should start where. Let me know what to do with this amount, thanks  Smiley
Spread it to several altcoins or buy many ICO's, you will need only one 100X ico to make nice money. Do research before any kind of investment, if you are not sure what to buy then buy bitcoins, it is good long term investment. Now is good time to buy bitcoins as the price is only $9K. Just keep in mind to invest only what you can afford to lose  Wink
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn $ 15.000 for two days? on: March 09, 2018, 04:15:02 PM
I've always wondered how people make big money without effort. I've heard that airdrops can help me with this, so found several channels with lists of airdrops. How do you think it is worth starting? Are there any pitfalls in this matter? Any advises?
$15K for two days collecting airdrops? I don't think this is possible unless you join thousands airdrops with bot or something.
Airdrop is free, Join as many Airdrops as you can. But it can't get enough profit as you expected. Try joining Signature Campaigns as your sideline it will give you extra income.
Did you earn $15K from signature campaigns in two days? I don't think so. Nothing comes for free and for $15K you will have to work hard. But in two days? Not a chance.  Roll Eyes
349  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit Cycling on: March 08, 2018, 05:14:56 PM
So I was interested in how to obtain merit and so I looked at a few profiles of members with a large amount of merits (250+) and saw that a few seemed to be sending merits backwards and forwards to each other repeatedly. I’m assuming they were either to friends or his alts but surely this is against BCT rules and should be cracked down upon?
There is topic in meta regarding merit cheaters so if you have found users who are exchanging merits you can post it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2896910.0. I can tell you that sending merits to friends, exchanging merits and sending merit to alts is very usual around here but don't worry eventually they will all run out of merits.
350  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New mining-scams - do not invest on: March 08, 2018, 04:35:27 PM
Hey, my idea is a topic about warnings from actual mining-scams. Often they disappear very fast again, but this kind of business-model is still working for scammers.

So maybe we've a little chance to warn new users of deposits in such scams and beware them of loosing hard-earned BTC.

Also questions about possible mining-scams could being asked here.
I think there is similar topic in investor based games, someone put all scams in one topic. Anyway, it is very easy to recognize ponzi, they always offer unrealistic returns and in my opinion real cloud mining is not profitable unless you have lots of referrals but in that case it won't be profitable for your referrals, so scam or not it is big no.
351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach 20,000 again on: March 08, 2018, 04:25:44 PM
last year when Bitcoin was trending around $1000 everyone said it cannot reach $5000, but you know what happened? Bitcoin reached $20000 in December.
I am sure everyone said that bitcoin can reach 5000$, also everyone said that it will reach $50K and I don't see it has reached $50K.
Bitcoin is the king of all crypto or we can call it as mother of all crypto currency
King, mother, father, well it doesn't matter, what it matters is what you can do with it, how many people are using it and how many stores are accepting it. It can be all of mentioned(mother, father, uncle) but if no one is going to use it it will become worthless.
Experts of crypto currency have predicted Bitcoin would reach $60000 around July to August. Just wait and watch the show.
This is third time today I have read word experts  Roll Eyes
352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it true bitcoin will fall to the leve of $1800 or $1500 ? on: March 08, 2018, 04:13:29 PM
Some experts who says bitcoin to completely crash is it true ?
Who are these experts everyone is talking about?  Roll Eyes
One of the reason said is virtual currency having no physical form and at least no transferable physically can not be recognized by  retail public users.
What is value of 1 gram of paper? I bet it is under 1$. Now, add some ink on it and write 100$ and you will have 1$ paper worth 100$.
Saying virtual currency will crash because it doesn't have physical form is lack of knowledge.
353  Economy / Speculation / Re: can bitcoin price move up to 17k again in 2018 on: March 08, 2018, 04:03:16 PM
hey guys tell me is there any prediction that bitcoin price can move upto 17k again in 2018
All predictions are only predictions and there is no one who can answer you your question. It can go to up to 17K it can reach new all time high and it can crash.
You shouldn't think too much about future price.
yes, experts have talked a lot about this.
according to them 2018 will be a year of good fortune accompanied by small surprises on the way. IMO we just have to be ready to face any thing that will happen and obviously bitcoin price will reach $ 20k in june. this is still the year of his cryptocurrency to remain victorious.
What experts omg.
354  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin were more than 100K, how much you would buy? on: March 07, 2018, 03:51:38 PM
This is one of these "IF" topics  Roll Eyes
Would you buy more bitcoins if you knew that price would be 1000/5000/10000/100000$, of course everyone would buy more bitcoins, the thing is no one can see future and no one knows where we are heading.
355  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction: Bitcoin will hit 100K on: March 07, 2018, 03:47:10 PM
Hey guys I want your opinion on this prediction. Seems legit to me. Bitcoin is always growing in the long term.
Why not hit even this year 50K.
Here is the link https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/915882/bitcoin-price-prediction-cryptocurrency-bull-run-latest-stock-market-sell-off

Bitcoin will eventually reach $100,000. It will probably take a couple of years though. I think this year we will be lucky if the price gets to $20,000 by the end of the year. Recoveries from crashes can take time. It could take months to even years to fully recover from a crash. We may not have seen the bottom yet for Bitcoin or the other cryptocurrencies.
I don't think bitcoin will ever reach $100K. It is all about profit for most people here, and even on small increase someone will sell it, if increase is bigger more people will sell. What happened in January when bitcoin reached ATH? It crashed. It will happen over and over again. Very high price is not good for bitcoin.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrencies and our daily life on: March 06, 2018, 04:48:28 PM
When we will use cryptocurrencies ofr our everyday life?
Soon my friend.
I like to think all these regulations are not for nothing.
I believe after crypto regulation crypto payments will be implemented everywhere. I honestly hope that.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: March 06, 2018, 04:47:06 PM
Maybe because they felt that the money they pay for taxes is being paid back to them in terms of services and different projects that make their life more comfortable. Maybe they appreciate what their government do for them. Also because it is mandated by law. Nuff said.
What exactly your government did for you? Or anyone here?  Roll Eyes
There is no need to break our head thinking why do we have to do something which has been written in the law. Also, money for police, fire department, doctors and so on are coming from taxes.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to promote Bitcoin on: March 06, 2018, 04:40:21 PM
There are many ways to promote bitcoin. Like Signature Campaign, Facebook Campaign, Twitter Campaign, Medium Campaign and Instagram Campaign. Social media was one of the most popular ways to promote bitcoin. Many investors really gets atttact of it and they want to invest.
This post made me laugh. How will signature campaign help to promote bitcoins to people who have never heard of this forum?
Social media, add networks and newspapers are the way.
And don't forget about regular talking and promoting to other peoples that you know.
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin finally hit 20K on: March 03, 2018, 12:09:53 PM
It didn't hit $20K in February and I don't think bitcoin will hit 20K for next few months, I see slow but steady increase and if it continues like this we might see this mark somewhere in Sep. or Oct. and who knows, maybe after that we will see new all time high.
This is ok, there is no panic and everything seems good.
Maybe it will pump more this month
I don't think so. Investors are very careful this time, last time it was really crazy.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: March 03, 2018, 12:05:20 PM
So my question is.
Are you investing into Bitcoin purely as a investment?
Or are you investing because you believe in Bitcoin and the technology?
Back when Bitcoin started i feel people invested, because there believed in it, and wanted to see it change the world.
Now days i feel people only look at it as a way to make money, and don't really care about the future of it.
Whats peoples thoughts?
Bitcoin is investment itself, you don't have to invest it further.
I am holding bitcoins in wallet waiting for better days, when I say better days I don't think of higher price, I am waiting for stores all around the globe accept bitcoins. You are right, lots people don't care about future of bitcoin they want it increase its value so they can sell it and make profit.
