Eventually the wallet will auto-tumble all tokens?
That would be an awesome feature! I do want to integrate a tumble feature into the wallet, but it might be a moot point with Zcash, Monero, etc support. Even with support of those more "anonymous" cryptocurrencies, would you want to see a tumbler feature? There are libraries to incorporate Tumblebit, which we could add, at some point. However, I don't want to focus on that feature, if the goal of obscurity is covered elsewhere. As for fees, I know that integrating a 3rd-party tumbler uses fees. I would imagine that Tumblebit would also have to charge fees, but we haven't investigated that feature yet. In any case, tumbling would definitely be "optional" for all users. It wouldn't make sense to provide that degree of obscurity, at a cost, for the average user. It is kinda unnecessary with Monero support, + ETH is working on the whole ZSNARKS thing. It seems like it would be more of a gimmick than anything, but for newer crypto users it could be a selling point. It could also be another source of income if you aren't above taking that route, just put a tiny % fee on top of the standard fee you pay Tumblebit.

Do you guys plan on bringing in more advisors?
Sure, we plan to make it bigger, but only with people who will really bring something to the project. Not just putting their names on the board) That's good to hear. They're there to advise, not as a wall trophy!

You have still time to invest but the ico going really fast, more than 4 millions $ in a day it is pretty nice at the moment. A lot of people enjoy datum in invest in the project, I even think that datum will reach the hard cap.
I am not sure how much they have raised. When I posted the screenshot earlier today the counter was over 13000 ETH, now it is back below that amount. That's strange.. counter that works backwards ? Well anyway the counter is now on : 12,905.367 ETH Not bad for a first day I'd say. I'm sure it will go up a lot quicker if US and Chinese citizens are allowed to participate. We'd like to have that too, but we also want to be compliant with the law so we're not shut down and killed off, and everybody ends up losing. Thank you for understanding! I can't understand, we have KYC for this ICO, why do we not open this ICO for U.S citizens? I know the Chinese government banned the ICO field in their country, but U.S just limits this field instead of banned like China. Probably because it would cost millions in legal fees to get it through the SEC. Yeah that's the main reason you see so many ICO's not trying to get the US involved. Of course they'd love to have the massive user base, it's just not always feasible. I've noticed they usually have "No US users allowed" or something similar in very small letters and hard to find. I think they're still hoping a lot of US users will come in and they won't be liable because they posted for them not to. Yeah, that's definitely not by accident. U.S. residents and citizens will be able to purchase tokens once they are on the exchange, as well as inside the app. We did not want to allow the purchase of tokens for practically the whole world, while U.S. persons would only receive a SAFT contract (similar to Filecoin, that still hasn't issued tokens to US residents). Once our public token sale completes, and the DAT token is listed - Datum will not limit any individual or business under the free market conditions. You can read more on SAFT here, but it is not a magic solution for publicly- (or crowd-) funded projects on Kickstarter, IndieGogo or true crowdfunding for startups, such as coin offering or token sales. https://www.coindesk.com/saft-arrives-simple-investor-agreement-aims-remove-ico-complexities/You won't have to go through any US regulation doing it this way?

Is there a particular country the majority of the team is from or is it more globally based?
Everyone lives in Canada (except some of the advisors), and works out of the same office every day. Great core team that are used to working together and will be in it for the long haul. That's a breathe of fresh air. Almost everyone else seems to be Eastern European for some reason. I think it's good they actually have an office too. Keeps people more motivated than just sitting at their house.

The platform wallet will allow bettors to bet on our web-based platform (and mobile from your browser) as soon as we launch our beta. Our timeline for the mobile app, which will include the wallet, is conservatively set for 2019 - though we internally hope to best this timeline depending on hiring etc.
The platform wallet will allow bettors to bet without worrying about paying transaction costs associated with placing a bet.
Okay I want to understand this fully. The transaction costs of placing a bet is different than the .5% fee I've heard about? Our fee is actually 2%, this is baked into the odds we offer so you'll be paying $100 to win $98... if there's a matching $100 bet on the other side that loses then they just surrender that $100..... so off of a total of $200 laid down, FansUnite earns $2 which is a 1% margin / vig. The transaction costs we refer to above are actually Ethereum gas costs, which you would be subject to paying if you elected NOT to use our platform wallet and just sent FAN to our bet smart contracts via metamask or myetherwallet. So those are the only fees? No loading fees, etc.? No other fees from our end. Our aim is to give bettors the best chance at profitability, and in pursuit of that, we are cutting costs everywhere we can. There will definitely be no hidden costs either. That's like 33% cheaper fees than I've ever seen. Yeah I can't find anything cheaper after googling for it. I'm not sure if it's even possible to have cheaper fees and still have enough to pay for the project.

Since you guys basically have an in house machine learning team, are there any other uses they have come up with for machine learning with FansUnite besides prediction of odds?
Anything? That's a good question, I'd also like to know what they're cooking up.

Our first video was an interview with me, the CEO of Javvy. Now, here's one with Javvy's preeminent executive assistant, Katherine. Check out the video below to learn a bit about what Katherine does for Javvy and how we will be moving our offices to the Atlanta Tech Village... Javvy Lee - Katherine Intro & Atl Tech Village AnnounceCheers, Brandon I guess you could call me a Javvateer then! Hi deeltje! Haha! Welcome and thank you for joining the Javvateer team! Happy to have you aboard! I love your guys' vids for some reason. You all seem so likable and knowledgable. My wife thinks I'm weird, because I'm sitting here on my lunch break eating a sandwich watching your vids instead of something "entertaining". That's hilarious, deelje! We're so glad that you're finding them to be interesting. Our videos are DEFINITELY real and put us on the spot. Most times, only Javvy Lee knows what the questions will be... Haha... Maybe your wife would find that knowledge entertaining? Crypto hot seats! We love answering everyone's questions, and we think we are more likable when we are not prepared (strange, but true!). Thank you so much for supporting us throughout this whole process! You make a GREAT Javvateer! Hopefully, we can get your wife to join with one of our upcoming videos! Any tips on how to get into her good graces?? Should we prank Brandon? Haha...Kidding... He'll be seeing this message. Hi Brandon! Love my job!! Thanks again, Katie Lol you guys are great, keep up the good work. You should kick the hot seat up a notch! Have Brandon take a bite of a very hot pepper, then answer Javvy Lee's questions. I'm messed up, I know. That actually does sound interesting. Much more difficult to dodge and deflect once your fight or flight kicks in. Exactly! Come on Brandon, you can handle it!

Exactly. 1. License price. 2. Much less time to get license. 3. Less requirements and bureaucracy. 4. The local government welcomes the gambling market. Betrium's decentralized nature actually can skip regulation, but we want to act within the law. Betrium is going to get gambling license in Curaçao soon, we're already preparing the documents. Curacao, Malta and Cyprus are the most popular offshore areas for this industry. License partly protects ourselves and our investors of any kind of regulator's attacks. We will post some news about it soon, stay connected! Also don't miss the opportunity, pre-ICO live! You know, we can write a lot of beautiful words about decentralization benefits and blockchain powerful technology. However, simply, there are few very important things for us and our future customers: — Our field, gambling and particularly betting, is risky and much regulated. What we really need is the system based not in one data-center, not in one or few countries. To be protected from regulators and agressive competiros, we’ve got to have no single center. Otherwise we can say hello to US IRS and FBI. Ideally, we’d build a system, that may work regardless of ourselves. — Customers guarantees. It happens everywhere, when bookmaker holds customer’s money, blocks accounts etc. We want to provide transparency. It is profitable for us (reputation) and for our customers. — Revenue sharing. The most safest way to provide some kind of «dividends» for our international investors (token holders) is blockchain. However, our solution is partly decentralized. In Betrium bets happen off-chain and only added when the event happens and the outcome is undeniable. However the bets are broadcasted all over the network instantly for the odds to be recalculated. That means, in contrast to competitors, we are able to provide high-speed betting service built on decentralized IT architecture. Try to imagine how to reach our goals and to provide the service we’re going to provide in traditional approach. What made you decide to use blockchain?
So why blockchain over a more traditional approach? So you're going to completely skip regulation? Excellent answer, I'm sure you could pull it off extra-legal style, but it's an necessary risk. What are the advantages of going through Curaçao? Less regulation? Sounds like gambling paradise. I might have to plan a vacation this winter.

Hi, dev. What reasons of postponing of pre-sales by 2 weeks? Technical or organizational? In more detail, please
Hello, alexzorgo The reasons are dully technical as we want everything to be well prepared. Our team members and co-founders are on the roadshow right now in USA and soon will be in Asia. Co-founder Maxim Anikeev released a video recently describing the situation https://www.youtube.com/embed/5teoL27MXMYI always say it's better to postpone and fix things, than launch a bug addled product and destroy your reputation.
