1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone forgot the key to their bitcoin wallet ? on: July 28, 2018, 07:12:06 PM
I wrote down my private keys on a small notebook and kept it in a safe box so no one will ever see snd touch it. And sad to say there are no other ways to retrieve them if ever you lost them.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: July 28, 2018, 04:01:47 PM
I think anything you put as an investment always put you at risk, I think thats given especially when you deal with money. But as they all say, never invest in something if you cant afford to lose them so that takes risks as well.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICOs Exist In 2 Years? on: July 27, 2018, 01:33:53 PM
I think 2 years is not that far and I still think it would still exist by then. You'll never know, even those small businesses would venture out in ICO's as well and join in the cryptoworld. But a lot could also happen within 2 years time so I might just have to sit back and see what happens within a year first before speculating for 2 years.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: July 27, 2018, 10:57:53 AM
I think some would think other alternate coins are garbage because they really dont have any valid purpose and some are just pure pump and dump right after they have made profits from those coins and that’s why some experts think they are garbage.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term vs. Long term investments on: July 27, 2018, 10:14:06 AM
I always prefer long term investments than short term because its less hassle for me. And the coins I go for long term are those that are here for some time now like bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sell bitcoin to buy fiat or altcoin? on: July 26, 2018, 06:16:53 PM
I sell bitcoin to convert it into fiat and that basically means I need the money for emergency. So that means if I did sell my bitcoin, the intention is not because I just want to sell them. Most of the time I just hodl bitcoin and sell altcoins to buy another potential altcoin.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT BAD TO CHOOSE BITCOIN AND BITCOINTLAK FORUM OVER MY GRADUATION CEREMONY? on: July 26, 2018, 04:09:17 PM
I think it was a bad choice to for you to choose your investments over your graduation ceremony and that maybe one of the reasons why your parents think what you are doing is a scam. You can always check your investments when the ceremony is over, it won't go away but your graduation ceremony is your parents pride and somewhat an achievement for them that their children have graduated.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is back! on: July 25, 2018, 05:28:08 PM
It could be the signs wveryone is waiting for, maybe the start of bullrun perhaps? I do hope so since it had reached $8,500 from a couple of months of sitting around $6k. Hopefully it won’t fall back to around $6k or else maybe this year is full of bear than of the bullish side though and its close to the last quarter of the year too.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to learn day trading? on: July 25, 2018, 03:39:48 PM
Yes there are a lot of ways to learn day trading and there are anlot of contents available on the internet. But what I did before was I searched on youtube to know basic trading and reading some contexts through the internet too which I downloaded on my laptop and the rest are just plainly through experience.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Uptrend again? Bitcoin will reach 10k$ soon? on: July 24, 2018, 09:51:13 AM
Well currently it has reached to $8k as of today so maybe it could reach $10k before the last quarter of the year even hits. I wonder what triggered bitcoin to reach this amount today though, I haven’t read anything yet but will try to do some research though.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: lowest price period ? on: July 24, 2018, 08:40:06 AM
I dont think there is a specific month or season when the price drops down but I did notice usuaily it is around the middle of the year wherein it falls the lowest I think, but Im not too sure because I might have just didnt notice it before though.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: July 23, 2018, 05:20:05 PM
Well technically anything that has to do with or involves money are risky so whether it is an investment or engaging in bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies which are basically money if you convert it to fiat are also risky in my opinion.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins for hold on: July 22, 2018, 05:02:35 PM
Siacoin, Kick coin and XEM for me are great coins to hodl for long term. Just do a background check on these coins and what it could do for you to see the reason why I prefer to hodl these coins for long term.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we change the public's view of Crypto world? on: July 21, 2018, 02:06:03 PM
I dont think we can ever change the public's view or perception of the crypto world however we can try to educate our close friends and family so that when they will know the real purpose of these cryptocurrencies they might change their mind. But that is not an assurance that they will understand the same level as your understanding of crypto.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: will the bitcoin price rise again? on: July 20, 2018, 04:36:19 PM
It had started to go up, in fact this week it had increased to $7,500 when the last few weeks it was just around $6k. So yes there is a great possibility that bitcoin will increase its price back again. You just have to hodl and wait to see its progression and hopefully more good news to come as the year is almost ending.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RE: WHY MOST FALL IN PRICE SOON AFTER LISTING ON EXCHANGE on: July 20, 2018, 02:35:04 PM
I think one of the reasons would have to be the bounty hunters who sells ost of their coin after it get lited. Eager to get their hands on money and not basically think that the coin can be beneficial to them in the future. And some bounty hunters are afraid that the coins would turn out to be a sh*tcoin and would not return to its ath price thats why they sell all of them instead.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many bounty campaign close before there week ends? on: July 19, 2018, 03:21:16 PM
Maybe they had reached their hard cap before the supposedly end date. Because there are some ICO’s that only have a small hard cap to achieve and once they achieve that amount they’re mostly good to go and end them earlier.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you now going to hold when the market is red? on: July 18, 2018, 06:13:01 PM
Thats why they say trading is only for the risk takers and who have lots of patience because the market will not always be good, it constantly fluctuates so it would be best to just hold the coins until you are satisfied with the profits.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Belgium has 8 Bitcoin ATM machines on: July 18, 2018, 04:24:15 PM
That’s great news and I think I’ve read that topic somewhere, I just forgot if it was from the social medianor a topic here in this forum. That only goes to show that the crypto market is really getting there and hopefully a lot of people will adopt to the big change.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest bitcoins on: July 17, 2018, 02:46:35 PM
There are actually a lot of great exchange sites to invest bitcoin and for me one of the best sites to invest them would have to be Bittrex and Hitbtc. I had been trading and investing my savings on this site for quite some time now and had no problems with any transactions so far.
