Choice proper ico is not an easy work, you should work hard, much knowledge about the project, analysis and research the project etc. If you haven’t sufficient knowledge about the project, then you should buy bitcoin which is the most promising and successful coin.    

99% of the ICO is scam/fraud so i will noy recomend investing in it. popular exchange EIO might be good to try to invest not ICO.
Even you know the project or read complete details about the project no one know what will project will do after they raised money. More of the token of the ICO project is not usable and the value is less when they list it in exchange.

ICOs are death. IEOs are the trend. Many ICOs were scam and many people run out of the market because of these scam projects. IEOs are supported by exchanges, project are following close by exchange team as IEOs represent the reputation of the exchange.
For buying BTC with your all fund, you can use diversity and participate different IEOs of different exchanges. There are really good profit opportunities at IEOs. Just can recommend sell your IEO coin at the time trading started, as they can make big pump at the beginning.

Definitely to buy BTC, because during the whole 2019, all tokens sales were doing nothing but disappointing investors. Only IEOs on big exchanges brought some profit and in the meanwhile BTC has made x3.

ICOs are way too risky. it is better to invest your money in bitcoin. Bitcoin is safer than ICOs and you can get some profits easily with no pointing fingers to anyone. Just buy bitcoin and HODL it for some time, a month or two, whenever you get some decent profits you can sell to avoid market corrections.

an ICO who reached it's softcap is not always ended good also. Some ico are made their fund meter fake, so it will attract investors to invest because the investors will see there are already many investor invest in the project.
But at the end they will also exit scam and leave the investors with no responsible. So, if we want to invest in ICO make sure we have a deep research first with the ICO , so we won't get tricky by the scammers
