425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Still Go Up? on: August 20, 2017, 04:48:55 AM
I cant see the long road ahead. Real talk.
Of course bitcoin is behind because alts is created in a mode advanced way like for example Nokia phone to smartphone nowadays. We all know the traffic in transaction ad the fees are pretty high in BTc place, well etherium are much more cheaper.
The birth of Bitcoin cash on the first of august made me think how long is bitcoin gonna be when the competition is on fire and there are so many advantages that alts can offer. Bitcoins security is superb as ever and we all know that. The prices is back and fourth and the market sometimes dont know where they are turning into. All we have is questions and I think lets give it more time.
And yes I tgink bitcoin can go up to 10 thousand dollars.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: August 16, 2017, 10:12:55 PM
The main duty of students like us is to study properly. Besides, freelancing or part time job can earn a lot of money.

Truth. Because this topic is one of the main questions on what business and how can we earn more I provided some thread that discussed by our professor in Business Managing : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2095296.0
I know that I do have so much more to learn because like you I'm still a student and searching for answers and some advices. Freelancing is great but it  takes a great tool on my body because I barely just sleep 4 hours per day and my mind can't digest all of the information at school because of lack of sleep. For the sake of the basic needs I need to work and help my father in mother in everyday expenses, Life is not easy tho' making money while studying is quite hard. I need to focus on both ends to consider myself successful someday.

428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: August 16, 2017, 09:21:05 PM
Gambler need to understand basics of this business. Later  you need to control your emotions. With proper money management you will get whatever you want from gambling.Without money management you will not survive in this deepest sea. Patience is a virtue Smiley
The sad part is that even experienced gamblers can get shattered and lose their emotions in the long run especially when the game is ats stake, as a human we tend to be more emotional in such situations that affects our performance and we don't even know if it is right to continue or regrettable to back out. And this feelings can't be learned, most of us will never learn. Gambling is a very risky process, below 50 percent is the winning rate and we always have the illusion of  winning some money than losing some money made by greediness and want to earn some cash in an instant.
429  Economy / Economics / Some things to consider before starting a business on: August 16, 2017, 08:32:20 PM
Well I just want to share some information regarding on how to start a business because as we can see, we are all want to have a stable business and we want to be a very good entrepreneur someday because if we're just working and working to earn money then if we can't work anymore we won't be able to sustain our needs anymore. I think this is worth reading especially those who are planning to build an ICO or a project. I've got this from my professor on college :

NOTE-REFERENCES :  Webster’s College Dictionary (Random House/McGraw Hill)
What is an Entrepreneur?
Entrepreneur: A person who organizes and manages an enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.
Initiative: Readiness and ability in initiating action.
Risk: The hazard or chance of loss.

NOTE-REFERENCES : The Portable MBA in Entrepreneurship, 2nd Ed.; William D. Bygrave, Editor. John Wiley and Sons Publishers, 1997.
What Does it Take to Be Successful?
  • “In entrepreneurship, luck is where preparation and opportunity meet.”
  • “The idea is not what is important. In entrepreneurship; ideas are a dime a dozen. Developing the idea, implementing it, and building a successful business are the important things.”
  • “Would-be entrepreneurs who are unable to name customers are not ready to start a business. They have only found an idea and have not yet identified a market need.”
  • Somehow, someday… you are going to have to earn POSITIVE CASH FLOW. You need more than a revenue model (but you do need that). You need a VALUE model.
  • Market share is great, but you can’t pay bills with it.
  • You can do some financially stupid things to build market share.
Where Do You Start?
Think about WHO is going to want your product/service, what they will PAY for it, what you will NEED to carry it off, and how you will MAKE MONEY someday. That is, make a PLAN.

Success depends on
positive cash flow, growth,
 and value creation.

Owners and investors who forget that tend to get “naturally deselected.”

The Importance of Value Creation

  • A successful business is one that delivers value to its customers and creates value for its owners.

Value is delivered to your customers when you do something for them
Better
Cheaper
Faster
Cooler
Different

However, it is likely that none of these will work for long, so continuous improvement and innovation are essential.

Value is created for the owners when:
-You do more with their money than they could do with it themselves
-You invest in productive activities that earn rates of return greater than their risk-adjusted costs of capital.
-The present value of future cash flows exceeds the startup costs.

Value is created by:
-Exploiting proprietary physical resources
-Possessing proprietary knowledge or expertise
-Creating a new or improved product, process, or service
-Staying ahead of the competition through constant improvement and innovation

Planning for Success

-Don’t plan a business for today – Plan it for at least a year from now.
-Moore’s Law: Computing power will roughly double every 18 months.
-Bandwidth will continue to increase for most users almost ad infinitum.
-People will live longer and maintain active lifestyles far after retirement.
-Energy sources and consumption patterns will change drastically.
-The world will continue to be a very dangerous place.

How To Not Get Funded

-Have a half-baked idea
-Have a meatless business plan
-Can’t articulate your value proposition
-Can’t identify your market potential
-Can’t justify your sales projections
-Can’t show your investors an exit
-Can’t show your investors a reasonable expectation of a reasonable return on investment
-Don’t think about risk
-Take no risk yourself
-Don’t take time to do your homework
-Try to fund a “lifestyle” venture

Funding Your Venture

-The hardest funding to raise is the first funding. You are probably on your own.
-Later funding gets progressively easier depending on the results you can show to investors and what you need to fund.
-BANKS are probably not going to help.
-The best funding is INTERNAL funding (reinvested earnings).
-PRIVATE EQUITY is the current buzzword for the major capital source for business ventures.
Closing thoughts

430  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: If BTC reach $5k, withdraw niyo na ba? on: August 16, 2017, 07:42:59 PM
Grin
431  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: August 16, 2017, 01:04:16 PM
bitcoin is a decentralized currency that's why its not stable bitcoin is the most outrageous currency today in bitcoin you can send money all over the net anonymously , bitcoin also promote it's advantages with the use of sending money with a lowcost even it's from another country. bitcoin is accountable like you can put a money from it and make it grow without using it.

I'm assuming that with "bitcoin is not stable", you meant the price because if you meant the network, then that's just so wrong.

I don't think there's a correlation with a currency having a decentralized network and the price being stable. First let us discuss what does "decentralized" actually means. It means that the network is just supported by one node. There are multiple nodes out there. Imagine an octopus that have a lot of tentacles. It's hard to take down that octopus because it have thousands of tentacles unlike when an octopus only have 1 tentacle. Bitcoin doesn't have a central network is all I'm saying. People around the world are all contributing on supporting the network by keeping the network secure by mining.

Now, did it mention the price at all? Decentralization is all about the network. The price of bitcoin depends solely on the buy and sell demand. If people are buying bitcoins, then the price is going up. If people are selling bitcoins, then the price will go down. As simple as that. The price is a different story from the network.

This is true. As you've discussed the difference between the trends of price to decentralization of network ( where people always think the same ). They have both factors on prices but still the highest factor is the law of supply and demand, nothing more nothing less. It is said that in able to be on par on the supply of gold, bitcoin must have a price of 500 thousand dollars which this is very big amount because as we can see :
gold= countries reserve and these reserves is very important and some are thinking that BTC might be the next world reserve and the price again as we have discussed earlier is because of the supply and demand of these mediums.
432  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: [ANN][CND] Cindicator - Hybrid Intelligence for Financial Markets - September 1 on: August 13, 2017, 03:17:55 AM
Wow boss pinakyaw mo na ang translator at napapasin halos ng natranslate maganda. Good luck po bosing

Good things comes to those who wait ika nga.

434  Economy / Economics / Re: how can bitcoin help the community? on: August 12, 2017, 01:30:02 PM
Bitcoin is promising currency, but somehow because of it's volatile value. How can bitcoin help the community? especially the 3rd world country.

In third world countries, graft and curruption is everywhere and btc can help reduced that corruption. For example when the government have some highway projects, the fiat money (1 billion dollars ) decreases because the project manager, the staffs and some greedy official can get some money on the budget but btc can provide us exact amount and every transactions can be recorded and if ever someone pick bunch of dollars on the budget everyone will know and corruption can be easily traced with that.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Highest bitcoin profit you have ever received... on: August 12, 2017, 01:07:26 PM

437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: August 09, 2017, 01:31:14 PM

How about you guys? What are the benefits you get from Gambling?

But, I highly suggest not to become addict to this industry.

Well In my opinion gambling can benefit your behaviour and feelings  and experience in transacting and handling people. In gambling there are some extreme behaviour of anger, guilt and happiness and handling it when you encounter such behaviour during games or when you feel it for yourself during a game. You can hone your discipline and behaviour also in defeat, winnings, pressure and sportsmanship. This is important not only on gambling but in real life works also.

And yes, gambling can teach you also what is the glimpse of feeling of heaven and hell and being addicted to that industry can take you to places of good and bad.
438  Economy / Economics / Re: Could the banking system be behind cryptocurrenices? on: August 09, 2017, 04:41:11 AM
Well this will be one of the greatest mystery since the begging of Bitcoin. We don't know if it's just a codename or an organization or a genius individual but the mystery is that what happened in the year he dissapeared. Well because of life threatening danger and what if the government captured him and what if someone use his name to the destruction of btc. This questions is still remain unanswered but one thing is certain. He opened a door that others don't want to open or enter.

When it comes to banking system I think banks has a great advantage because they have great reserves like oil and gold.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the other crypto currencies that exist? on: August 08, 2017, 07:52:04 PM
Next to Bitcoins there are several different other crypto currencies like DASH, ETC, ETHEREUM, LTC, XRP. Do you believe in them? Are there any Advantages and/or disadvantages?  Huh

At the end of the road in the information age era, cryptocurrencies will replace or coexist with the fiat money so of course I'm investing in these coins too, not just bitcoin. It's true that bitcoin's price is so high and these coins are falling behind but in a year's time, this coins will grow too especially those coins that has a very promising potential and what can they offer in the real world. Functions versatility availability and security is still in question here that BTC earned in its years. Time can only tell and were all waiting. Stay tuned to updates, me and you.
440  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: August 08, 2017, 06:29:43 PM
It's not a problem for the website owners as they are also earning from those annoying popup advertisements. They don't care if their visitors will click it or not as long as it is being shown to their website and gets some views. This is the most annoying and unwanted way of doing internet marketing, I hope this will be obsolete soon.

I agree popup need to go away. They annoy users, make websites look like trash and degrade the websites reputation.  Most clicks on popup are accidents so people get directed away from the site to some spammy trash.

They are also almost always not profitable. The ROI on popups is so small.. usually less then 1000-1 That means if you are paying .25 a click you will spend $250 to get 1 legit sale.

I love my Firefox Adblock.. Grin

Popup is about to die soon, on the next Chrome update that has its own ad block

Pop-up windows are used by inept newcomers. This is very aggressive advertising. Now the network business is changing and acting more gently on the target audience. You need to act in such a way that the potential partner himself comes into contact with you. This art is taught on expensive Internet marketing courses. Cheap courses teach you how to send spam

This is true, because the internet is being crowded and the internet is being the mainland of advertisements and promoting products nowadays, rates are becoming higher and higher. I remember when I was on around 2010 when I decided to create some website in a very cheap price but nowadays I can't find some cheap price here with good interface. And advertisements is like a brute force advertising and people are becoming aware of these click baits and popo ups. If were going to be in this, we need to think a better idea like a very good video representation on youtube or facebook about what we can offer in the market.
