Toward the start of March, the value of Bitcoin surpassed Gold surprisingly, however, the crypto-coin hasn't halted there! Last week, starting August 1st (the most awaited chain split) we experienced a rollercoaster movement on the value and/or the price of Bitcoin but after a few days Bitcoin bounced back and just this morning it has set a record of $3278.08, according to price.bitcoin.com. Now, the question is, Will Bitcoin price reach $5000 before year end?

My question is for long term is it better to wait or is the price going to keep rising. Maybe we have a new bottom?
I know it's speculation but curious what people are thinking.
I am 100% certain that it is going to go to $1,000,000 per 1 BTC in the future. I am so certain about this, that I am willing to commit to pay you 10 BTC if it never reaches an exchange rate of $1,000,000 per 1 BTC. Maybe yes, its possible in 2020+ and it might reach into 1m$. I hope that this year, the value of bitcoin must go up since the supply is going fewer. Bitcoin is the best and it has the potential to replace the national currency. There is a very good chance for it to be 1m$ We're gonna be dancing with cash if the price go as high as that, well it is possible but we need some large market cap, everyone must use this currency and every country or some big countries must legalize it's usage. Well I'm considering Bitcoin as my investment that's why I'm putting myself into work in order to have as many btc I can. This mark is a sign that a bigwave is coming and those who is building the ark is the one who will succeed in the end. |

Please help me make clear idea about how good bitcoin is to be a digital asset as we become old in the future, and this served as our lifetime asset same as pension when your retire from your current job at the age of 60.
I have seen many people talking about "Bitcoin as Retirement Plan"To be honest this very much like dooms day preparation. I don't see it that way as bitcoin is digitally backed up with no regulations. The decentralisation of bitcoin, which we take advantage of today may turn out to be negative side of bitcoin. Future may be different, there may be no currency at all but digital circulation of information. Who knows we may not need money after fifty years from now. Let's not get that much speculative about it but even though retirement with bitcoin seems to be far fetched as I or you don't know the fate of bitcoin. The price that we see is today, but who knows it after fifty years from now. Cold hard truth. Unless the world will crown bitcoin as one of the monetary reserve then it is not good to use this as a last resort when we get old and for example you have 100 btc that worth 100 thousand dollars each that worth today, and you almost put your life storing that amount of btc and if something happens, BTC will drop price to 1k dollars making you losing everything and regret your whole life, The technology keeps improving so the security of BTC if it is not improved will fall on the next years. Its always better to diversify your funds and investment in crypto and real world assets. |

This has been asked countless times before and besides useless opinionated speculation, the answer is always the same:  Maybe it's value can go to 1 bazillion USD.That's too much, but we all know that BTC reaching as high as it gets now in this year's seemed to be impossible to others in the beginning of the year. The next milestone is 5k dollars mark then 10k dollars then a hundred thousand dollars mark. Watching the price go as fast as 11km/s ( speed of an space shuttle )  after August 1 is so satisfying, even tho I don't have that much btc what they are telling impossible have achieved and what they are trying to destroy have prospered. We're enjoying every moments and second and money counts. |

I see many coins around. Even a year ago there were some casinos accepting litecoin and dogecoin. As bitcoin is now really expensive and slow plus some people are afraid of tomorrow's segwit thing, I thought it would be interesting enough to create a poll and see how many people still gamble with bitcoin and are there many fans of other coins. Nowadays the range is really wide, so we have what to choose from What do you think?
The range is wide but the more the gambling sites and the more they accept other coins, the more the risks and more games, that means you will be gambling in an never ending manner because you have so many options that's why I always gamble with the old school fiat. Altcoins and bitcoins is quite important as a investment. We're just starting why we don't often see the value of some alts but it may be a thousand dollars in the next years. I think it's better to gamble with fiat that decreases value as your econmy decrease. |

Automatically the person will learn to use it
The problem is that even if they want to use it, they don't have something like ( internet and smart phones or computer ). There are some people who still dont have that kind of things nowadays. For example they heard about BTC but they don't have internet connection in their area and they don't have the right devices to acquire and earn BTC. Some are interested but that interest is limited because of their life status. Sure. When it becomes easy to buy like anything else. At the moment it is quite complicated for the average new user, but with time people will learn to download a wallet client like any other program and send Bitcoins to it. It is really simple, just takes time. All good things come in due time.  Yeah. Im hoping as that when bitcoin world is well developed enough people will use it as good or way better than fiat. Were already waiting and taking some time so I hope that this is good for future generations. We wont know if the 22th century generation will be able to witness btc as a world reserve or a world currency. Were the one who is pushing this industry and I hope that this wont be a big club like the old payment system. |
