Mining became too expensive due to high electricty costs and greedy asics traders. These equipments are very expensive and after some time they are already worthless to mine bitcoins, as there will be a new asic model on the market as soon as possible.
I believe someday mining will worth again, as we are reaching closer to renewable sources of energy, this way it's one less cost to operate a mining business. However the initial investment has to be huge anyway, and the asics will continue expensive and indispensable.
Its true, i think even if too much expensive when you mine you will also earn profit. But now you focus first for the price and wait the best time to mine. Because of its price is just recovering yet, So in the next years maybe it can recover and many people will mine bitcoin again. |

Bitcoin is witnessing the all time pump currently and it has gained over $500 since morning. At the time of opening this thread it is around $6,801. I think we should get ready for $10,000 soonest. I thought that we would be discussing $10,000 by November or December but currently it seems it might happen before end of this month or next month if the current momentum is sustained. Hit and run is what most gamblers do and its good for them , its a wise strategy but i sometimes feel guilty doing it especially if i gamble on local gambling ( like for example on carnivals ) because they are only small time, gambling is thier way of earning an income but if all gamblers will do this . i cant imagine what will happen on them . but when it comes to playing poker i only play for fun , i wont mind the money that i bet .
A wise gamblers use this strategy, because usually they just want to grab only a profit. Theres nothing wrong to do that hit and run. But i think it means they seriously addicted that only the purpose is to make money. But if you dont do it, the hit and run then you are play only for a pastimes. |

Now I am not an expert in gambling but this day was a really eye opener for me, you can never win in gambling. Imagine when you can't win in lotto , soccer betting or whatever you call it, you don't have a chance in slots.
That is good that you have realized that gambling is not for making money but if you play within your limits then you can get entertainment with these games. Some games need the knowledge to guess results better way like sports betting but there is no guaranty that you will win for sure. If you want to win then you should be lucky for that day otherwise whatever we do not so easy to win money in gambling. Lottery, dice and slot games completely depend on our luck because we can't estimate the outcome. You can earn money in gambling until you if not good at strategy or how lucky you are. So you dont expect that you can really win. But then if you continue in gambling and you will try a big bet maybe youll win. |

In my opinion we cannot find Satoshi for that easy , but maybe someday if the crytpo was legally around the world and thats the oppurtunity that he introduces his true personality, so right now well wait for the time. For me gambling is considered disease because you cant control yourself anymore and you need help to be able to overcome that addiction. also it can ruin your life and your relationship to your family if you dont pay attention.
I agree in your opinion, because if you are addicted you will not immediately remove a gambling addiction in yourself. Its been a long time before you will recover for being addicted. Many campaigns have closed down in the past after several months of working on them only to announce that they failed to raise enough funds for the project. Worse case is the team devs exit scam and no one gets paid. Project owners can also decide to execute their "reserved rights" by changing the rules at the end of successful campaigns. Rules changes can usually mean bounty rewards are reduced, locked, subjected to uninformed KYC checks, or distributed over a very long period of time. If you consider all this then you will see that bounty campaigns are a gamble and cannot be always relied on to provide regular income for people participating in it. Those that participated in Deex bounty campaign (which ended in January 2019) are still waiting for their rewards (3 months after) and the devs are not communicating any date for the distribution. If you ask them they will say "soon". They have been saying "soon" since January, by the way. I'm not trying to slander the project or anything. I'm just advising fellow bounty hunters to try to get something else to do that will fetch them money and not to rely too much on bounty campaigns for payments. I really agree with you ! It is better to have a stable job in the real life, don't rely in doing bounty campaigns, for the reasons that not all bounties are successful and mostly we bounty hunters are not getting paid by the ICO development team. If you take risk on engaging your life on doing bounties , then there is a big chance for you to starve, so find some stable job and make bounties just a part time job. These scammer's strategies mostly target beginners for they aren't aware of the possibilities that might happen and they could believe in these strategies easily.

i have seen bitcoin mostly been used in trading investing , and gambling most of them convert to local currency , bitcoin is mostly used in online transactions , less its used in local payments , best go to Singapore there many business accepts bitcoin
It is use also for investing and paying some bills. Like also in Philippines accept bitcoin in transactions online or for payments.. In Asian countries many businesses use bitcoin. |

If you want to save money then you should not play gambling at all on the first place because you would not really able to save up money because you would surely spend it on playing gambling and for sure you would not stop as long you have the money on your pocket . Spending your money is just normal when you are playing gambling. I think that is the best solution, but you will play only moderate if you still want to have some money saved. Actually YES,I used crypto then convert into fiat..because cryptocurrency like bitcoin is not acceptable for all..in short bitcoin is not popular to used.... Unlike cash we used it even a small thing..bitcoin is good but no cash,is a worst thing.  Indeed, we cannot live without cash in our everyday lives. We need this fiat for everyday expenses like transportation, foods especially when we are buying at the local wet market. Eventhough crypto-enthusiast people are trying hard to spread the usage of cryptocurrency, ordinary people are not yet ready especially merchants to implement cryptopayment since they still have doubts regarding this system and worst, they are actually ignorant about cryptocurrency. I agree in your opinion, because if we dont have any cash its so hard for us to use it everywhere especially in case of emergency, Cash is important in our daily activities , and that it should not be lose. But its better to use both a crypto and cash. |
