Lotto gives you much lower chance of winning than simple games like dice or roulette. I think that you can win in gambling just not in the long run. The more you play the more you pay the casino but sometimes you do win. When you lose it makes you biased against gambling the same way that winning makes you biased towards it.

I completely agree with this statement. Gambling's not going to make you money in the long term due to house edges, as I'm sure you're aware of, but it is indeed possible to win in the short term; I'm currently overall positive in eSports betting and a little bit in dice. You just happened to be unlucky today.

This is why you have to look up the teams you're betting on or at least do a quick search.

Before the draw, Roma only won 1 out of their last 5 matches and they had a draw at home against Atalanta.

The same case with Brondby, before they lose their home record was 1-2-1 (win-lose-draw) on top of that they lost 3 out of their 5 recent league matches (not counting Europa League).

Both of the teams that you took had a poor form this past few weeks they're certainly not worth 1.20 and 1.35.

Hey just cause you lost two matches doesn't mean you can't win in gambling. I have personally lost my money in so many sports matches, but I don't give up, someday you win some days you loose. Now coming to Roma game, i feel it's your fault as Roma form has been poor this season, and if you had followed Italian league thread here I had predicted a draw for Roma. As for the other match that's just hard luck, you need to forget it and move on, also for next sports bet do more research or stick to online casinos.

I have to deny your statement, I won so much on slots that you can`t imagine. Slots were so good to me, yes I had loses, in slots you can have a long losing streak, but if you are aggressive gambler like I am, when you rise your bets and you hit some bonus on higher bet with couple mBTC bets you get bitcoins. Nothing can beat big win on slots, when you win you can win huge! Sports betting on other hand is totally different from slots. Favorites doesn`t win all the time, if you think they do you are wrong. 15 years ago and probably more when I started with sports betting I thought I can make a parlay with favorites and win every week, I was wrong, every week some favorite lose. 1.10 to around 1.20 are normal odds for when a big favorite team is expected to win.

When odds drift lower to around 1.35 it sometimes means an underdog team has a better chance to win than normal.

I do not follow soccer(football in europe). What you describe often happens in american team sports NBA, NFL, MLB. Books and oddsmakers have contacts which feed them inside information. If teams are having drama issues or personality clashes behind the scenes. Or if they're simply being lazy and not taking games seriously, oddsmakers are aware of it and it can be reflected in the opening odds rising or decreasing.

I think it is possible to win in gambling but a person may have to spend time analyzing odds and conditions which lead to teams winning/losing to make accurate predictions from available data. Sometimes it could come down an underdog team that wants to win very badly going up against a favorite team that doesn't care if they win or lose and simply wanting it more could make the difference.

And to be honest, odds, looks better team, etc don't always give us the expected result. Sometimes, big teams can play worsely too against the weaker's one and it happens frequently.
