281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing against 2024 on: March 30, 2023, 06:25:23 AM
If the government doesn't hold a grudge against bitcoin and would let it be alongside CBDC then all is fine I guess, but knowing the government? I don't think they will someone compete with their made-up digital currency. As we all know that there are several countries who has neutral stance against the usage of crypto, while some are totally banning it like in the case of China, there're still few countries who are unclear whether it is legally accepted or not, my country for example. Still, they didn't forget to warn the public about the risks, though there're some government officials who are heavily against investing, using, legalizing and thinking about bitcoin.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: March 30, 2023, 04:44:24 AM
Live like a king.
Unfortunately Sig Chipmixer has been discontinued, if in detail the overall economy is obtained from Sig Chipmixer, maybe there are some countries where they live like a sultan / king with a brilliant economy.

For example:
Sig Chipmixer earns an average of $300/week if one month they make $1200/4 weeks/month.
• Indian currency Rupees/INR, they are 100,000 Rupees/month, when compared to India's economic conditions, it is clear that with an economic life of 1,200 / month, it is already classified as luxury / sultan.
• Furthermore, for the country of Myanmar/MMK, from their sig Chipmixer they have pocketed a monthly value of 2,500,000 MMK, they deserve to be called a sultan with a king's life.
• And then Indonesia, a life of $ 1,200/month, means: they pocket a value of 18,000,000 Rupiah/month, with the economic conditions there, they are equivalent to the salary of the DPR/the highest official in Indonesia, they deserve to be crowned as sultans / kings in their lives.

That's my summary of income from sig Chipmixer, a decent country in terms of economic income life as a king.
As a fellow resident in Southeast Asia, I could say that figure is already decent enough as someone working in regular industries such as teaching and other office works. Personally, I haven't been on those high paying signature campaigns, but joining even those who pays $400 a month is already enough for me to sustain my daily needs as an individual of course, but if I have a family with 3 kids, that's not enough to pay for all the expenses, considering there are also utilities such as water, electric and internet.

Having a stable job is really a go to when you are still working as a temporary signature promoter, even if I happened to be a member of high paying signature campaigns, I would still continue working on a regular day to day job for the sake of having extra money just in case.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and others urge AI pause, citing 'risks to society' on: March 30, 2023, 04:06:35 AM
owning BTC can be considered proof of being human.
Actually, a micropayment of a few satoshi could be viewed as some sort of proof of work.
So, no, as far as I know, Chat GPT doesn't own any corn.

Are you kidding, mate? It won't have bitcoin as of today, but what do you think prevents the AI of the future, say ChatGPT10 from making a bitcoin payment?

Also, I think think that the benefit of AI-generated content fairly outweighs the problems.

The problem as I see it is that today it already does many tasks much better than humans and in less time. Add to that the fact that we are in the early stages of AI, something like the internet in 1990, and it is expected to improve exponentially. Although I see this as positive in principle, I would not be blindly confident that there are no risks.
Was that a year ago during an interview when Elon Musk warned us about the dangers of AI? I could no longer recall when that was, but it's true that he warned us the dangers that might come with AI. I also believe that there will risks and dangers with AI, and if it's true that some other nations are already planning to weaponize and integrating them into robots, then that's enough reason for me to be more wary, coz like you've said "what prevents the future AI in doing so, right?".

There is no guarantee what danger it may fall to mankind if that's the case, but it is also undeniable that there are so many benefits given by the development of technology.
284  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Reel Bitcoin Faucet on: March 30, 2023, 03:15:33 AM
Is this another clickbait or something? Forgive me but this doesn't make sense to me. Even the most reputable faucets like freebitco.in doesn't give you $10 a day, not unless you get lucky of course to get the prizes or play their spins and of course you still need to wager.
285  Local / Pilipinas / Re: GHOST COMMERCE on: March 30, 2023, 01:43:30 AM

288  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do we go from here on: March 29, 2023, 03:19:41 AM

AI is something incredible, moreover, with more advanced AI that is developed, that will be more than we think. Those who are working ith AI directly may know what will happen exactly if AI is always developed and can be developing themselves, what kind of replacement will be in this world, replacing most jobs with humans to do something?
Of course, every new technology will have its pros and cons. AI of course will have many advantages, being so advanced with the technology, easing to do and finish many things more efficiently and effective, and can do something new much faster than what humans can do.
Even though this has big advantages, there will be always some cons to it. This may affect many things, especially humans itself. Imagine if many things have been done by AI, so it will also decrease the use of humans in working or doing something. And probably there are many more disadvantages.
So, this may how they including Elon Musk have warned us about AI, but still creating and developing. To warn us about the possibilities.

Artificial Intelligence leads to a reduced need for manpower - fewer managers, support staff, bank clerks, workers, and so on are needed. There are more and more people, and fewer and fewer jobs. This is the paradox of the times. It is frightening to imagine what will happen in ten years' time with the rapid development of artificial intelligence.
I don't think it'll affect hugely in the economy, just like how they disliked the idea of computer before, now most of the jobs are related to computer and those heavy labor jobs still remained. For sure after AI is implemented, it will open another opportunity for people to find new ways to utilize AI as a job.

The only thing that's worrisome is the weaponization of AI, and for sure superior nations are already planning to do this, just like how nuclear weapons are made.
289  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: March 29, 2023, 02:28:40 AM
you do not understand / can feel how the condition of a small person like me. In the village, I do whatever work so that my family can eat everyday. In the village, getting a job in a company is very, very difficult with the current conditions. Incidentally a relative / friend asked me to work in the city, with a salary less than the city standard. With my condition far from my family and in order to change the family's economy, I am willing to rent a residence where I live which is not far from the company I work for. Indeed, in renting a house we have to take care of it. There is no other way for me, I don't agree with renting something that is a waste.

I wholeheartedly agree and respect your opinion on renting a place that’s much closer to your place of work than having to commute from your village.
Understandably, getting a job in the village with an organization that’s located in the city would be very difficult as most employers would want their employees within reach at most times.

Fortunately for you, you’ve landed a job in the city. While it pays less than city standards, it definitely wouldn’t be the same rate you get for jobs back in the village. If it isn’t, you would not be so willing on renting.
Perhaps you might consider having a roommate. That could help reduce costs and improve on your savings.
That is also a wise decision to make since you can share the expenses along with your roommate, but before you consider someone to be your roommate, just make sure that he/she can be trusted.

Getting a job in a city while renting a room is very hard specially when your wage is below the minimum city's wage? you will have a hard time making money to send to your family since you also need a bit of money for yourself because food expense in the city alone is quite expensive. I had experience this kind of job too, and yes, we are also in a similar situation where I need to leave from my hometown to work the opportunity given to me by my uncle, sad to say my uncle died 2 years after and that his wife started physically abusing and mistreating us, so I went back to my hometown which is also my current address now.

Let me ask you this then. What does your education guarantee them? Does your certification from your education worth $$? This may be rude but we are no longer in slavery period in which you can use your body as your collateral. In this age slavery is illegal but you can sell your body to a company and become a corporate slave (that's legal), this an option too.

A deeper truth about life is that you didn't do anything to get yours, your life. You just popped into existence one day, through no 'fault' of your own. Or, do you remember your conception?

Cool
And it will come to a point where you have to pay for your own bills and live. It's like " I never asked to be born to begin with". Roll Eyes
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public Perspective towards Bitcoin on: March 28, 2023, 02:28:38 PM
To transform the public's negative impression of digital currencies into a positive one, it's critical to zero in on training, guideline, advancing the advantages, joint effort, and straightforwardness. The public's perception of cryptocurrencies as a legitimate means of payment and investment can be shifted by providing accurate and reliable information on them, enacting clear regulations, highlighting the potential benefits of using them, encouraging collaboration between the industry, governments, and traditional financial institutions, and encouraging transparency in the cryptocurrency industry.
And it takes a lot of time and effort to do that. It will also take a lot of resources in order to those things. While I do agree that it is as slow and sure way of introducing bitcoin, people will still easily changed their mind when you say that you will earn profit by just doing crypto. Right now there is no longer the need for us to actually go out there and convince people, the government alone is doing their best to remind people not to immediately rush into cryptocurrency due to its big risks. That alone could make some people curious and some will be tempted to dive deep learning into blockchain technology.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: March 28, 2023, 01:20:47 PM
Government has a role to play to enhance the life of his constituent since they are the one who will give opportunity or skills to their people to get more better job or create good ideas which can be converted to money for theirselves. If no government support will exist for sure the country will struggle to find good programs to help their people.

But people shouldn't rely on what government could provide since at the end they are also the one who will work for it so thay they will be equip with knowledge and can get better jobs to get out of poverty where they currently on.
In short, the government's role is to provide more opportunities to for the poor to work and earn a living for themselves. I have seen lots of cases about people who keeps depending on the government's benefits without even taking action for themselves. This is why by teaching them how to handle their own finances can also be a big help for them to improve their way of thinking or approach towards money.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public Perspective towards Bitcoin on: March 28, 2023, 12:31:41 PM
OP, you can't change the world, and you can't help all people, but you can be an example for your environment.
Exactly a good point for OP.

Normal humans are influenced by what we read, see, hear, and the environment we find ourselves in, but the good thing is that humans never stop learning. If you see a person who has a negative influence about Bitcoin, you can always explain to them to better their understanding. Though, some people think that the only crypto is Bitcoin (yes!) and that's why most individuals of the public would always have a negative impression about Bitcoin because they have fallen victim to some scam projects or their friends. Scam projects that get prompted on social media have disappeared with some individuals money, and as these processes continue to take place, it will still make some people see crypto in a bad way, but Bitcoin is not really the coin that may have given them the negative impression, so when we see people like that, the good thing to do for them is make them understand better what they don't know.
Although I hate it, I have to agree with you that some people took advantage of a person's innocence about crypto in general. This is mostly the reason why people specially those who are victims before are having negative view in bitcoin. As for me I no longer want to promote bitcoin or teach them what is it even to my own family, coz as of right now, our own banks are slowly introducing the concept of cryptocurrency through their mobile application or online banking. Now even if I won't say anything they are already slowly being taught by banks what is crypto and they learned it unknowingly, so when the time comes when they become interested I will only have to explain them a few things.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin cannot be a Bank? on: March 28, 2023, 11:41:45 AM
"Be your own bank" is a nonsense slogan from blockchain.info; you can "be your own bank" with 50 kg of platinum, gold, or silver.

Trolls who haven't even finished primary school are spreading the idea of Bitcoin as a bank on Twitter and other American social networks.
It's just absurd how they got this idea on how to promote crypto.

I'll share a little bit of story here; In my country there is this famous online game/casino that is currently being promoted by most of local influencers we have here, but the thing is the site is not 100% trusted at the same time the people behind the project is shady yet influencers try to promote it without a care that there are so many that are now complaining that they couldn't cash-out their money. This is the story I remembered when I first saw this post.

299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China is the largest bitcoin miner. on: March 28, 2023, 10:29:51 AM
The information was when China was at its peak and the mining costs there isn't that much. Now adding the fact that they even banned bitcoin, miners tried to move to where they can be more productive, so statistics are now equally divided amongst many big time countries in the world. Before only China could proudly show off their mining power but now? not anymore, I will no longer add more sources since there are already plenty of sources given by our fellow members, besides that's the changers over these years.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public Perspective towards Bitcoin on: March 28, 2023, 06:15:57 AM
In our country OP once we talked about bitcoin and crypto, mostly they have negative perspective on it, and as you've said that we couldn't blame them due to the past events that happened to them or the community their opinion wouldn't change easily not unless we could convince them.

IMO, I don't want to convince anyone in my neighborhood regarding bitcoin or crypto, I'm sure there will be time in the future that they will switch their interest in these things, coz as of now I could see that they are slowly learning about online money without being aware that they are already on their way to learn cryptocurrency.
