The new company contributing to XBC development mainly use reddit and telegram now so this thread may not be so active but I will keep it open even though I am not in any way involved with XBC development. If they want it locked at any time in the future I will do so and post any link to whatever alternative thread etc.
For any assistance go to telegram or twitter. The new developers have full access to twitter and can respond to any queries etc.
Please assist in anyway possible as usual with your retweets and community involvement.

Alright... thanks for the tech update. It was thorough.
Nice to have the additional developer.

Hi team So... closing Q1 it was reported that the developers ran into some obstacles that got them baffled. Can it be shared what they are working on now? Thanks

Well... I'm glad the admins here don't rule with insults.

@BitcoinBus you did not mention Binance - probably the best centralized exchange today. BitcoinBus - i don't think its fair to say "If the exchange wants to list this coin, its up to them". Binance has a requirement to fill out their form. I compiled the list of questions they ask to make it easier for the DEV team to complete this request. You guys simply ignored me. I hope you can re-think your approach on betting on decentralized exchanges - you have no idea when that's coming.
You are betting on another DEV team to be successful in creating a decentralized exchange - i think you are not evaluating this risk appropriately here.
Here is the list of questions Binance is asking to fill out of their online form again. They want the DEV team submit the request and provide contact info, etc.
Heck, we can answer these questions for you if you give us your word you will submit the damn form.
29. What listing fee do you propose to pay? (What value you think listing on Binance is worth to you?) Please provide an exact number in BNB. * 30. Do you have the BNB to pay for listing fees immediately? 31. Do you plan to offer coin giveaways, and/or other marketing initiative? If so, please provide details, ideally down to specific numbers. 32. You agree that Binance can publish any of the information you provided here publicly. * 33. You accept that, even after payment, Binance reserves the right to de-list your coin at any time, for any reason, solely at Binance's discretion, without refunds. *
Enough said here. Why should we be afraid of those conditions? Every exchange has conditions. We could at least try. And propose some fee. Look at it this way... Binance isn't telling you to pay $10000.

It's showing the poll but doesn't let me vote.

Alright! Nice
They must be getting a ton of email and some of that may go unnoticed if it isn't priority. That may have happened in the first place.
I think we should go the way they want it. Fill the form. Besides... I already told them it's filled because I didn't know better.
A question to the team. When you filled the apply form... was there a link to Github?
If not, someone could send them that as well, to proove there is development going on.
They replied that they will take a look at it. So now would be a good time to send more their way.

Alright email sent to Binance. Someone else come along?
Escapecoin thanks for getting that started! Can you please post for us the email that you sent them? The subject line and body? I would like to piggy back on what you sent them. If we all get the same word out to them, they will see that we are a community. Did Binance want some technical information about the coin? Let us know what you wrote to them. Thank you! Subject line was "Profitable listing" Body: --- Bitcoinplus (XBC) is a promising coin with a small supply. Only second POS coin to soon get Segwit, along with other upgrades. It's also getting nice trading volume on Poloniex. This would be a profitable coin for Binance to add. XBC team has filled the apply form on your site. --- If you email them you could mention that this coin is not a newcomer. That the team is dedicated long term and community supportive.

Yes that's what I meant, thanks ymalikov. Inflation sounds bad. People go like whaaat.. 20% this is going to lose it's value in no-time.

Hi Can I make a few suggestions concerning the website? People that come from outside of crypto don't many times know what is Proof of Stake. We could mention what it means. Say for example... Bitcoinplus doesn't need energy intensive mining, unlike BTC & BCH. Which translates into many positive things: cost effectiveness, eco-friendly, no miner hassle etc... Then go down a little bit. It mentions 20% inflation. That's a big problem for newcomers. People don't understand what it means in crypto, so it's seen just as a threat. We'd need to open it up... that it's a possibility to earn. With so little coins it's hardly a threat, if the project just goes on. So encourage staking. Even Polo folks aren't interested in staking. They just want to make the quick buck. What do you think?
The more you have the quicker it will stake. I had a small amount that sometimes took a week to stake.

No, I just wanted to be clear how to do it. Because I was earlier trying to find info on how to update to the new wallet, but couldn't find it.
So updating to the new version is done just by downloading and running it?

Hi team
My wallet has stopped synching around 500 blocks ago. Is updating the only choice?
Thanks
