Yes fall behind transaction fee tends to make very little sense the way it is and is far too low to become associated with a assistance to the system especially with low dealings taking place also it would make huge sense to have it act as a percentage of the whole deal but that would need to be by general opinion maybe unless of course we've no arguments which is feasible technical wise.
anyone get this?

However I am looking forward very much towards permissionless decentralized exchanges, which I believe will begin to flourish in 2018 and allow for more flexibility and freedom.
We are planning to list on NVO DEX once it's up an running. They were meant to have their wallet ready a few days ago but seem to be running behind schedule but according to their developer we would have no problem using it once they are live. That's good news. Didn't heard about NVO DEX before. Do you have a link to their project? There is no product yet. here is a link to their website https://nvo.io/This distributed exchange will run on the SAFE network so i wouldn't hold my breath. Goin to try verification on poloniex again.

XBC group have opted for a tough Hand. This is in order to supply extra stability on the blockchain moving forward. Old Wallets won't be able to connect to the system and you will not be in a position to transfer any coins in or out of the pocket book. Any staked cash won't be legitimate.New purses will be accessible following update is finished.
We are using soft forks only so there should be minimum disruption through this whole upgrade. All people will need to do for any further updates is download a new client and resync the blockchain. All people would need to do is have their wallet backup and private keys as always.

Please vote on poll above. The sooner we get this out of the way the sooner we can get back to work. From a personal point of view I am voting for the first option (A) after having discussions with our developers over the last few weeks.Poll will remain open for 1 week. After this we are going to be moving on with development in the direction indicated by the results shown.

I really like TOR integrated. It has a lot of benefits. I would be very sad to see it go. Segwit is nice for bitcoin but capacity issues are a LONG way away from being a problem for XBC. As a long time holder dedicated to this coin for a long time to come, I really hope that the desire to implement segwit isn't based on hype and is thought through. It would be sad to lose a practical and beneficial feature with a long history of operation that makes this coin different for a feature that isn't really needed and is hype driven.

I don't know if its because you have a relatively new account or if its another issue but it should allow you one vote.Maybe register another account to test it or change ip or something. It's definitely working.

I understand that and many people don't realise we are one of only a handful of coins to have a native tor wallet built in and probably the first to have it done like this but in truth the client needs to be updated anyway because it is an older tor version and using external tor client would have advantages where you can update it anytime you want. The good news is that once we can move on this and get us to the required BIP faster than having the native client onboard means we can probably implement a better system than this on top. There are a whole range of new things we can adopt once we are at that stage and this is the easiest less complicated and costly option. You can still use the old client for transactions without segwit if you want because segwit and CSV are backwards compatible. We will have the required level of privacy you require once we have all the spadework done and are up to the latest version in order to do this.We are not abandoning these features once there is a community interest in keeping them.

1) I can't vote either. 2) "expected time to earn reward is 4 hours" - It's said that for 2 days. 5 days ago it said 10 hrs so its making progress. What's up with this? I've had my XBC for a week with no staking. BTW I'm a big fan of this coin, I think it has a huge future, I just don't understand the staking discrepancy.

1) I believe you have to x amount of posts to be able to vote. 2) https://www.bitcoinplus.org/blog/proof-stake-explainedWhat is meant by the Terms Weight in PoS ?
The Weight of the Network is a figure given to the All the coins that are actively Staking on the entire XBC Network. The Coins in your Wallet that are availble for Staking also has a Weight. If the Weight of the Network is 8000 and the Weight of your Coins is 2000 then you have a good chance of Minting some new coins. However if the Weight of your Coins is just 1 then the chance of you Minting some new coins are remote. The Weight of the Coin is simply based on Coin Age. As a coin gets older as does the weight and your chance of Minting coins increases. As people open and close wallets the weight of the network will change as will your chance of staking. Over the course of the year you will receive 20% of your original XBC. Not sure how often the 'Expected time to earn is updated'.

From what I've seen the time estimation underestimates how long it will take. In any case, it is probability based so will vary but decrease over time until you find a stake. It seems like the discrepancy could be based on estimating the time to stake based on a fixed estimate for block generation rate which is faster than what the network has historically shown. I'm not really sure if this is due to lack of transactions or lack of weight relative to total possible weight (because of offline wallets). It would be nice to hear an explanation. In any case, this phenomenon is not unique to XBC, I have noticed it among most proof of stake coins. XBC is very stable and problem-free though. I am always running it and never have problems with connections/database integrity, etc. Only in the case of improper shutdowns have I had to reindex.
