What you think more profit, participate in IEO or wait after IEO and buy the token from exchanges?
in my opinion knowledge about cryptocurrency and learn about how to choose the right one will always give us more profit my friend because you must knew what you buy, maybe for now maybe buy the token when already tradeable on exchange is better than we participate on IEO |

I was introduced recently by a friend to the crypto world. I've been doing some reading about the reality of this ecosystem, creation of bitcoin and then alt coins, market experiences, the different projects objectives, a bit about the theory behind them incl pros and cons, and so on (I am a .net programmer and would like to think tech savvy, but had always ignored this field) and well ... I decided to invest 2K right away
I made some investment choices but then read a bit more and decided to re-balance it in the following manner:
BTC 36%
ADA 23%
XRP 21%
EOS 8%
QTUM 7%
XML 3%
ATOM 2%
On top of this, I am considering investing $250 every month (of course I will be flexible depending on markets prices but take this as an estimate) in the following proportion
BTC 50%
ADA 25%
either EOS, XRP or BCT the rest 25%
note: for some reason I am not a fan of ETH and trust in the potential of ADA much more
I am far from rich, especially because I live in a very expensive city, but I have a decent paying job and I try not to overspend; so as part of my savings strategy [for early retirement] I am saving 2-2.5K every month and transferring it to a money market account (and then CDs) so at least it can grow a bit in time (not counting growing inflation)
This good friend mentioned to me the so-called 1 BTC rule and I have been giving some thought to this idea. Purchasing 1 BTC would not be a problem [in the affordability sense] but then I think about the other tenet which talks about only investing in crypto what you can afford to lose. If I lost the invested 2K I would be really pissed off but I would get over that. Now shelling 8K for 1 BTC would not kill me either but It would certainly impact my plans for an early retirement
What is your perspective on this situation?
i don't see ethereum and Binance coin in your TOP list my friend i think both altcoins deserve to be in your list because both are the best altcoin with huge potential to grow when the bull come back but, the choice is yours!! |

I think ethereum has biggest potential to go up during the bull run
Eth is Second coin After btc!
And its a still cheap its Under 200$ so investors will join in until 500$ and 1000$ mostly.
Once the market is uptrend again.
in the next bull run, i believe a good altcoin such as ethereum will create new high in price thats mean the price will be more than $1000 don't know about BCH and XRP, because i don't have this alt in my bag |

This is how i keep my private keys safe since i can't afford to buy a hardware wallet.
1. A complete new harddisk
I bought a new harddisk and install window 7 on it and copy all my private keys in there, i don't bother to leave this harddisk in the pc, after the copy is completed i remove the harddisk and keep it.
2.My Recording book
I have a long hard shelled book that i use for keeping records of all the airdrops and bounties i promoted because sometimes i used to forget easily so i write down my recovery seeds in this book as well
3. Flash Drive
I have a good 8gig flash drive as well that i use to copy software and files from one pc to another so i format this flash drive and copy my private keys and recovery seeds in it.
At first no one knew i am into crypto stuffs and secondly i don't share my room with anyone cos i am living alone, those who have people around them with face problems like friends going behind your back checking through your stuffs or even stealing your things, hardware wallet is still the best though.
from all your reason above, the point is keep your private keys outside from your computer or leptop mate maybe thats the only way to keep our private keys safe |

I made nice profits with ieos, especially with fecth and celer. But with the bnb down, some of the profits are gone. On the other hand, no need to panic and I will probably hold my bnbs. Ieos can give you juicy profits. You just need to be a bit professional. In my opinion, don't invest a coin second time.
people should learn about the project before decide to invest on IEO project because not all IEO project will give us a good return in short, except we can choose the right one and we need to keep our patience alive |

When i search i found ICO projects with very good rating, this rating posted buy ICO rating websites, how this rating works, websites did not mention about the factors use to rate this projects.
as i knew a lot of ICO rating websites is a paid services (correct me if i'm wrong) so, if a project want to get a good rating, the project must pay for this because, even the project have a good rating, there is no guarantee if the project will be success my friend |

yes, if a coins with very low volume in the market, thats really big sign if the coins have no interest from the traders and this is not good, so, people must double think if they want to invest in any coins with very low volume just like both alts written by the OP |

im 18 years old and have $100 (Canadian) that I would like to invest. im not looking for a quick buck or anything, doing this just to see how it is investing in cryptocurrency. upon research, I came upon DigiByte and was wondering if this is a good investment for the long run? ive been following for the past 2 days and it has gone up in value and then down again. if this is not a good investment I would love to hear of others. thank you  basic rule of investments invest only what you can afford to lose my friend and if you really want to invest in cryptocurrency, you must learn all about this industry before you put your money in remember learn first before earn DGB maybe this coin is good enough, because this is an old crypto, who can survive and stand as the TOP 60 coins at coinmarketcap |
