223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vacationa and Bitcoin on: January 29, 2019, 12:09:54 PM
I have seen a lot of companies , store and even online who now accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This kind of adoption cryptocurrency through using in payment method can really have huge impact in bitcoin community because the tendency is many people will buy bitcoin and the demand will increase so that price will increase as well.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin with capital "B" and bitcoins with lowercase "b" on: January 24, 2019, 04:14:55 PM
New learning.

I just noticed this in the advertising section of the forum.
Quote
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Meaning when I am paying someone in Bitcoin then I am sending him bitcoins  Smiley

We are Bitcoiners and bitcoins are our currency.

Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge about this , we have some mistake that we haven't notice and should be corrected just like this one. Bitcoin and bitcoins , at first you will be confused but if you try to look for their real meaning then you will clearly understand the difference between the two.
225  Other / Off-topic / Re: Him-Her moments #Bitcoin on: January 24, 2019, 03:16:39 PM
Please have the fun running. Let's not discuss about holding or rights of men/women. Cheers.

Everyone here who are holding crypto has their own him her moments. Let's see what's in your mind?

Mine: I can't HODL it anymore  Sad
Just like you I can't hold anymore but im trying my best to be patient in order to earn profit in bitcoin. Bitcoin is still recovering and no one knows when will the price becomes higher so we really need to wait if we want to earn well it shows that men is thinking about the market and I think most of us have experience it. Asking ourselves about bitcoin , time will come and the price becomes higher and it can give us the benefits that we deserve.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: Is government the most influential factor that affects Bitcoin price? on: January 24, 2019, 08:26:20 AM
Sorry for the naïve question, but I'm just really curious. What would happen to Bitcoin price if, for example, Trump declared all cryptocurrencies forbidden?

Can Bitcoin survive because of decentralization or some other underlying tech concepts, or will it simply drop down into oblivion if the government decides to fight it for real?
Government has a big impact on bitcoin , government either allow or banned cryptocurrencies in their country. No one knows , but in the past few years bitcoin has faced a lot of challenges so it will be difficult for government to drop it down for sure bitcoin will survive. If the government finally accepts bitcoin then it can give a positive impact on bitcoin because it can attract more people to invest and that will definitely affects the price.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Tour de Satoshi" This guy is trying to promote BTC by doing a bike tour. on: January 23, 2019, 04:30:19 PM
Throughout the year, I started imagining myself playing a more active role in the bitcoin ecosystem and even earning bitcoin instead of Euro. The thought sounded ludicrous at first but then I thought why not?! I am, however, neither a developer, nor an educator, nor the type of business owner who can pay and get paid in bitcoin. So, I asked myself, what could I do to at least enhance the awareness and adoption rate of bitcoin. In other words, what would bitcoin do if it were a company (which obviously it is not!) to get more recognition and acceptance?

As a sports enthusiast, my immediate thought was that it would improve its image and adoption by increasing its PR and marketing activities through sponsorships of perhaps a sport team. It would probably also hire sales staff to convince other businesses to accept bitcoin, not to mention paying its own employees in this currency. All this to say, that I combine my two passions for sports and bitcoin and found a decentralized and sponsorship-based sports team called “team satoshi”, named after Satoshi (Nakamoto) obviously, the anonymous founder(s) of bitcoin.

I believe that if bitcoin were to play its role in the kind of world that I am imagining for humanity, it requires universal adoption. For this to become a reality, bitcoiners have a responsibility to spread not only the word but to also invest bitcoin itself in increasing its adoption and recognition through donations in PR activities, inviting nocoiners to join the community, and support those who have the skills to promote bitcoin like any other currency requiring education prior to adoption. I, for example, have been giving bitcoin as a gift for birthdays, Christmas and wedding presents in the hopes that it will intrigue nocoiners and the like.

As the 10th year anniversary of bitcoin, to many known as the Genesis block, approaches on January 3rd, it seemed as the perfect opportunity to use its celebration combined with the newly founded sports team, team satoshi, to raise awareness and adoption of bitcoin: a winter bike tour from Florence (the birthplace of modern banking) to Frankfurt (home to the European Central Bank (ECB)). The tour is called “Tour de Satoshi” and of course it starts on January 3rd!

I believe that this type of attitude is important for the promotion of the BTC. When asking a store or hostel owner why he does not receive payments on BTC, this will naturally make him think and research how he could receive.
This is hundred percent amazing! Its really nice to see that he promotes bitcoin in a different way which is cool. Well its a great way to make people interested  , some people wants to invest and earn huge profit and some of them doesn't know bitcoin or they think that its a scam but we can help them and tell them about bitcoin in a good way so they can make sure that they make the right choice.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption: Rakuten (Amazon of Japan) to likely introduce BTC as a payment option on: January 23, 2019, 03:31:12 PM
Rakuten, the biggest e-commerce store in Japan is most likely to introduce Bitcoin payments. The company is going through some major corporate restructuring in which their cryptocurrency business is becoming part of their Payments and Settlements business.

Article link: https://blockmanity.com/news/bitcoin/amazon-of-japan-rakuten-likely-to-introduce-bitcoin-payments/

This is amazing! Its really nice to see news like this because it inspired everyone to invest , bitcoin is still recovering but you can see that it improves the way companies/countries adapt and accept it. Still hoping that some companies from my country also accept bitcoin , I know it will take a lot of time but I am willing to wait.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Religion and politics divide people yet bitcoin unites them on: January 23, 2019, 02:01:54 PM
Bitcoin = Love
People all over the world are flocking into bitcoin regardless of their race, culture, and believes.
Bitcoin is for everyone no matter where you are around the world, no matter the race or skin color.
In fact, the bitcoin is more transparent than any government or company yet more decentralized than both.
Is bitcoin going to be the biggest economy in the future?

I definitely agree with you. There is no specific religion , gender , culture and etc. in bitcoin as long as you want to invest then you can! unless it is banned in your country but I never feel hopeless about this because nothing is impossible. People can earn huge profit whether you are rich or a simple person but I feel discombobulated with that love.
230  Economy / Speculation / Re: The point of no return on: January 22, 2019, 02:08:53 PM
At which price do you think bitcoin will not be able to recover from? There is strong support at $3500 but is now at risk of being breached.

Is $3000 the low point after which there is limited chances of it returning to the glory days?

That point of no return would probably be less than $1000.
Some say bitcoin will fall below $3000 before a new market cycle starts and reach new heights.
Even some people predict that the price will fall $3000 it's not yet sure if this thing will really happen. But, for me I will remain positive which I know the price will recover soon. I hope the price of bitcoin will not fall at $3000 because it will might the reason on its hard recovering.
231  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you describe the situations of the crypto market today? on: January 17, 2019, 04:05:28 PM
This current situation of crypto market is very sad where all of people experience big losses even me I also lose some money. It's hard to describe the crypto market right now but I know the time will come the crypto market will revive again and many people will get more interested in cryptocurrencies.

Many people already predict what would be the price of bitcoin after this year. Most of the prediction is around $20000 or maybe more than of its ATH. The 10 years challenge show how we see the price of bitcoin in every year, but this year I hope I can see big improvement in the price.

234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I can't buy Reddit Premium with bitcoin? on: January 17, 2019, 01:46:54 PM
Reddit is trying to play games!
What on Earth is stopping them from accepting bitcoin?
Heck, they have added PayPal for God sake, and why not bitcoin???
Come on guys, tell me what is going on between bitcoiners vs Reddit (Perhaps, there's a bad-blood in the past).

I think they still not approve using bitcoin to buy premium or I think it is still in process where they will approve bitcoin in mode of payment. I think in the future they will consider bitcoin as money so they will add in their mode of payment.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is How I Bought - BUY BITCOIN RAP SONG on: January 17, 2019, 01:08:37 PM

Kindly make your rap more energetic so many people tend to listen on it and I love and like the beat. Make your video more attractive so many people will really listen on it and aside from that they will know how to buy bitcoin using fiat.
236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What coins do you like to trade the most? on: January 16, 2019, 03:43:35 PM
Are you into trading? What coins do you like to trade the most and what's your trading startegy?

The coins that I trade most are bitcoin, ethereum and ripple which belong to the top cryptocurrencies and there are many reason behind that. My first reason is they have huge volume in market. Second is they are well known cryptocurrencies and last they much unstable than other cryptocurrencies.
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: IS IT TIME TO BUY MORE BITCOIN? on: January 16, 2019, 03:01:04 PM
At this current price of bitcoin it might be the right time to buy but some people still not prefer to buy in this current situation of market because they afraid that the price of bitcoin will fall down. But as of now I also keep on buying bitcoin and then I will hold it.
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Imagine Crypto and Bitcoin Currency Risks in early 2018 on: January 16, 2019, 02:29:38 PM
The fear of falling prices for Bitcoin and other crypto currencies is suddenly still hotly discussed. Is it true that the future of digital money is getting worse in 2019?
It's not sure if this year will become more worse than last year. All of people have fear in falling price of bitcoin because they think it will not rise again and might keep on falling down. But, this year expect more in uprising in price because this year is one of good year for cryptocurrencies.
239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats makes bitcoin Price Drop ? on: January 16, 2019, 11:02:31 AM
whale market manipulations
This kind of manipulation can really affect the price of bitcoin to down. There are many whales in market that can easily manipulate the price but I think most of whales want to have low price so they can still buy more tokens.
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why BTC to Under 1K$ soon on: January 15, 2019, 05:10:25 PM
Since lot of people are in Panic they will start to sell their BTC with loss , Market will be red more than ever before,
So this is how It work:When BTC 2.9K$ Panic will be started, Downtrend will be slowly started too. Price will be dropped to 2.5K$ - 2K$ than Next wave of Panic will be started and price will be fallen to 1K$ and it will stable at 800$.
Your prediction about the price of bitcoin is possible to happen but at this moment we do not see any thing that can bring any down price on bitcoin. I still hoping that your prediction about the price will not happen simply because many people might lose their interest and they might not believe in the future of bitcoin.
