1. Cofound.it is handling the escrow for us, as they are providing the architecture for the crowd sale. 2. The only early-bird bonus we offer is the ability to get in to the Pre-Sale Aug 29th before it opens up to the public on Aug 31. You need to have registered for our whitelist already or you can still buy CFI to get in via their priority pass system. 3. The token will be distributed a few days after the crowdsale closes or we reach our cap. It should hit exchanges a week or two after that (if not sooner). |

What is the min and max for this project? Also, how many MCI per Eth in the presale?
At this time our target minimum raise is 3m. Hard cap is a very reasonable 6m. 25m tokens will be distributed amongst all the buyers, so if the hard cap is reached it comes out to 24/6 = 4 MCI per dollar or about 1200 CFI per ETH at the current rate of 1 ETH per 300 usd. We cannot launch at exchange until we are absolutely sure that all coins are fully distributed among the ICO investors, Bounty participants and testers.
We must ensure that each participant of ICO, Bounty or testing received their coins. Whilst being interested in launching to the exchange as much as you are, we also cannot tolerate any kind of discrimination of even one single participant of Bounty or ICO campaigns. This is because after we launch in the exchange, participants who have already received their coins will find themselves in a much more advantageous situation than those whose applications have not been processed for various reasons.
There is an option for over-the-counter exchange and private offers under Marketplace topic in Bitcointalk or any other forums for those who have received their coins here. You can try these in case you do not have will or opportunity to wait until the exchange launch.
So does this mean we HAVE to withdraw our Bounty/ICO coins from your web portal? I was just planning on leaving them on the portal until we hit the exchanges, and then moving them to the exchange directly (even though it may take a while as it will still have to be approved manually). Not too worried about being 'disadvantaged' by doing so. |

The marketcap of Musicoin is simply too small at this point, and running a crowdsale and accepting multiple currencies with a fixed exchange rate is becomes complicated and can be risky (see http://vitalik.ca/general/2017/06/09/sales.html). Given that the crowdsale will not begin until the end of August, we believe this is ample time for participants to plan accordingly. |

I tried mining using the minexcoin-qt wallet client for windows. I grabbed the receiving address from the wallet and went into the debug window and called 'generatetoaddress' and pasted in the address I copied. A number of hours later it looked like it found a block, as the block hash showed up in the debug window. However, I went into my wallet and there were no new coins. Additionally, I looked up the address on the block explorer and it was showing empty as well. So I tried just 'generate 1' and the same thing happened. No new coins anywhere when one finally solved. What's going on with mining?

Any updates for the ICO date?
Due to the recent statement by the SEC we are taking some time to carefully evaluate the MCI token and see where it falls in relation to the Howey Test as well as get the opinions of our legal counsel before proceeding. We expect this process to take no more than a month, and we will release updated crowdsale dates when we have a better feel for the exact completion dates. After losing 6 grand, all I had left was 400$ in GAME. I was just tired of losing so said screw it and pulled it all out. O-M-G. Yeah, All I had to do was say screw it and leave it there  The biggest lesson is that you never dump a bag for dust. I would rather let a coin die with a bag and lose $100 than to dump that bag and live with regret of what could have been had I kept it, which could be significant. I know it is a harsh thing to say but it happens to everyone at one point or another where you make an emotional decision and that is how you learn. Unless you have the guts to be a day trader, buy stuff with reasonable prospects, park it and forget about it. Don't get emotional about price movements, don't sit and watch the graphs all day. Just park the coins and forget or maybe make ROI and park the rest. I mean... It was a lot different back then. $400 meant a hell of a lot more than it does now. The Bitcoin and altcoin market has gone up hundreds of times since then. Most people in the game didn't have that much money to go around. Hell, when I had about $400 in crypto, I bought game at 5k sats. I'd have a solid profit if I hodl'd it, but I sold at 6k instead. And this guy was around ages before me. True that. It once happened to me as well. That is where I vowed never to do that again. All the people that are complaining about the eMGO compatibility should be thankful that they are forced and prevented from making an emotional decision. Just hodl, hodl, hodl and in the event that it crashes move on. A friend of mine bought around 4m PIECOIN right after their ICO when it dropped to 4 sat each. Came out to something like $200 USD at the time. It pumped-and-dumped, and I got out at a meager 400% profit while he just held on and said he was waiting for moon or bust. I thought he was crazy to hold instead of selling his bag for 700% profit. Then the price plummeted back down to 6 or 7 sat and all activity died. All of a sudden a few weeks ago PIE starts reviving, and today its worth 170 sat and his $200 is suddenly worth around $20k usd. Now he's laughing at me! Moral of the story: Hodl or bust. |
