Disregard his statement. He is just assuming possible scenario.

The easiest way to get merit is to determine what kind of topic that you have an edge. If you are good on technical discussion then create useful topic about it. But if you are still developing your skills then you might try to contribute something useful to your Local board. That's the best place to earn your merit because you are already familiar on what still needs there.

I can't read many of your posts, and the ones that I can read are on boards I don't often visit. Feel free to report your good posts here.

I've had to reset passwords for websites when I revisit them after a while. The email wasn't changed, to me this looks like someone who used his email address to reset his password.

I just asked simple question.
As member you have the same rights as any other member in the forum,  doesn't matter if legendary, Hero or newbies.
You can join any forum discussion here,  there is no limits to you where and how much you can write.

Why forum rank and merits are so important to you now?
You've been on the forum  for a long time (more than 3 years) and obviously it didn't matter to you before.
What has changed in the meantime?
You have no restrictions on writing on the forum as before.

Keep in mind that even if you post nice things, truth, real-talk, technical things, reporting scam, you will rarely get a merit point.

If your goal is to level up just to make your brain feeling better then start changing your mindset because it's useless for you and a waste of time, start/keep working on valuable thing instead.

Don't waste your time if you don't have a real interest of posting messages/being upgraded, like presenting a future project or a social interest. Personally i have both, i think that some people need help so
it's also a social interest, to keep this world better everyday.

Last month I has my 78th birthday, is there anyone here who is older than me. I can still remember snatches from the air raids in the second world war, and it is interesting how some things make such an impression on children's minds.
