3  Other / Politics & Society / Oppurtunistic Politicians piss me off on: March 17, 2020, 02:46:58 PM
I hate that politicians that they use the pandemic as a way of campaign and making a rep for themselves. These people should serve without reminding us that they are here, they should serve us because that is their duty. I think when you do your duty without saying a shit that you did it then you will earn my respect.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOTA2 The International 2020 on: March 15, 2020, 09:01:33 AM
What if Ana is just looking, testing and practicing for another surprising strategy again just like what he did with the IO carry last the International? it's a big one-time paycheck every TI and no need for him to participate the majors or minors because it has a bigger prize pool. And he can reason out about schools or other stuffs, so that the strategy won't be exposed? what if it's really like that the same with the past TIs?
He is out on his studies bro.
Here is the link: https://win.gg/news/3651/ana-out-of-og-for-rest-of-season-replacement-likely-coming-soon

I hope that this Covid19 will be gone before the event because if you guys don't know, the ESL LA 2020 was postponed because of it.
I do hope bro that this pandemic won't cause the postponement of TI20. I hope things are going to go smooth sailing.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / DOTA2 The International 2020 on: March 13, 2020, 05:07:10 AM
With August just around the corner, I am excited with the upcoming The International 2020 in Sweden. This new meta will surely turn the table for the fights, because of the meta that was introduced at patch 7.23. Many people are rooting for OG to win again but OG.ana is out because he will pursue college. For me this is a very exciting way to do esports betting. I know that bets done in esports are sometimes done through paying item cosmetics to get much extravagant and expensive cosmetics, this window of oppurtunity is not new in this forum but I like to hear your thoughts.
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: middle east still full of violent and hateful islamists on: March 02, 2020, 06:23:00 AM
right -> push your national interest directly based on national demands

left -> back down on your direct national interest in the hope for moral gain.
Thanks for making that clarification but my opinion is still the same. If that's the definition then don't you think that there should be separation from church and state?
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: middle east still full of violent and hateful islamists on: March 01, 2020, 03:25:28 PM
there are differen't types of islamic extremists, and based on their oppinion you can split them into a left and a right wing.
For me I think having them grouped according to their disposition or stand would make the situation way worse because there will innocent that will be caught in the crossfire of religion segregation, if only these people understand the true message of Qur'an then there will be no more problem. If only there is a presence of love for human race then maybe they will open their minds that they can't force their beliefs to others and that their way of preaching their religion is wrong. I know that religion is a very touchy and I myself is not that religious person so I am not that good with these subjects but it makes me interested in the way they practice.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: middle east still full of violent and hateful islamists on: March 01, 2020, 08:59:41 AM
I think you used the word right winger and left winger wrong. There is no such thing as that in middle east. Those extremist are practicing a radical way of Islam in which they are very strict about their religion being that those who don't convert are infidel and should be killed. This types of people are straying from the meaning of the word jihad because they thought that violence is the answer. We can't drive out these people or eliminate them, as long as there are people who are willing to sell weapons to these kinds of people violence will continue.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Safe or crazy? (sports tickets) on: February 29, 2020, 03:08:08 PM
You can analyze the playing before bbeting or if you are a long time sports bettor then you must know how to play the games. WhatI hate is those odds that are sometimes in favor of the losing team like 2.76 for the losing team and 1.24 odds for the winning team, if luck plays out well and you are betting on the former then good for you, will earn a lot but if not then you will have miniscule profit which is sometimes beneficial to the gambling site. Just to be clear I love sports bet but I hate the booker scheme
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: February 29, 2020, 01:31:53 PM
There are times that whenever your family and your friend advise to you about stopping on gamble, you keep on ignoring them, you do not listen to them anymore even though they care so much to you and when you deny them then you may consider yourself having a compulsive gambling disorder, you don't care anymore to anyone, the only thing you want is gambling.
I suggest that if you feel that you are like that, you may visit some professionals to help you.
This is a must do but if you do not become aware that you are becoming a compulsive gambler then it really is difficult because you might deny that you are having gambling problems which creates a barrier amongst the people that tries to help you so self-awareness is a must and you can never go wrong when you accept that you are having problems.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WW2: California Sorry for Japanese American Camps - too little too late? on: February 29, 2020, 01:22:49 AM
Did they also made German camps, and Italian camps? Surely the other axis countries would have supporters in American soil wouldn't they? Or was is something especially racist against Japanese?

Definitely too late, the victims of the State segregation are mostly gone by now...
There were children during those segregation so there are still victims that are still alive today. I even watched an interview with some of the survivors.
I don't think that SoCal is opening old wounds rather it is a public reminder that there are mistakes that were made that should not be repeated. Racial segregation has been the problem of USA for a long time but they don't address that much because there are bigots and racist that slip through the cracks and proliferate the idea of racism which is a toxic behavior that can spread like wildfire in a community.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: February 28, 2020, 02:49:51 PM
I like to use the money that I will borrow as the bankroll in sports gambling.
This is what it's like in the mind of a gambling addict. I hope your expirement won't lead to you and your friend's misfortune. Gambling is never a good choice in the first place.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: February 27, 2020, 12:18:59 PM
Earning money is real hard and it's a no-brainer. So basically what I do is I write down in a diary of my daily income along side with what I have sacrificed for earning that amount.

Yesterday night after finishing my own assignment, I worked as a freelancer from 12am to 2 am to complete an assignment based on electrical engineering to earn $20.

I wrote down in my diary - earnt $20 - sacrificed 2 hours of sleep, 2 hours of not watching netflix and put in mental effort when mentally I was exhausted.

Now when I would have the urge to gamble with that $20, I would just see the diary and would realize I am not just gambling with $20 but gambling with that sacrifice of time and effort which I'll never get back. And it has worked for me to a certain level.

What's your opinion on this......
It really is helpful especially if you are trying to gain complete control of your self, it really is a nice practice because you can see what you are earning and you will feel a little disappointment if it is spent.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: GOLD and BITCOIN: What is their similarities? on: February 21, 2020, 01:15:45 PM

I actually think having a fixed known supply is a disadvantage of BTC. Gold inflates at 1.5% per year. This low inflation allows gold to satisfy new demand, slowly. BTC's eventual zero supply will make BTC always volatile. There would be no BTC rush to find a new supply. While this could be good for your Store of Value, it creates volatility. Volatility will prevent BTC from being useful for transactions. It will remain a Store of Value and a very volatile speculative asset.
I think you don't understood BTC that much, if you think about it BTC is also affected by the law of supply and demand it really matters that we as investors or holders know that there is a fixed supply because it helps us when to buy or sell our current BTC holdings, if you read the article link by thenewanon135246, it helps you in understanding.

15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 20, 2020, 02:58:37 PM
You must need 50 hrs per day to fulfill your gambling needs.
This was spot on the biggest threat because you are not aware of time you spent gambling. I know that that the hours stated was an exaggeration but think about it that can really happen when you are gambling, you lose track of time which is the biggest mistake rather than the money you lost.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advantages of having an account on bitcointalk on: February 19, 2020, 02:45:00 PM
There are a lot of advantages but I think one thing that stands out is that you are updated on what is currently happening the cryptocurrency industry, it really helps if you want to invest your time to learn new things about cryptocurrency and its beauty. Your testimony sounds like you went through a lot of learning and I think newbies and pros alike will find that having an updated information about cryptocurrency and slowly learning different things such as trading or gambling will get you further in this path you chose to tread.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite and admit that you are a gambler on: February 19, 2020, 01:37:50 PM
You should have included the cycle of life. Your mother is on a gamble whether she will get a miscarriage, deliver a premature baby or a healthy baby. Then you covered the cycle from the middle.

When you were a kid in school, you gamble in your exam when you didn't know the answer. Should I mark option A or B or C?

You gamble in your career path, your spouse, your children's education, literally everything that is unknown.

But it doesn't involve money, sir? You gamble in your purchasing and investment decisions as well.

Inspired by this debate: https://www.debate.org/opinions/is-gambling-morally-wrong

Thank you for reading, let's be more positive and tell me a funny/interesting story about your gambling experience here. Gambling should be for fun, not for getting rich.

We also don't realize it consciously but we are also part of our respective nations gamble. Our country could either go bankrupt and we will be the price that will be paid or the opposite. We are also just pawns in a very long game of Cosmic Chess, we are at mercy of cosmos, our planet is in a gamble too, we could be hit by an asteroid that could wipe out life but no we are dancing in the palm of universe. Also don't use gambling as an excuse to get financial stability that's a really bad move.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: February 18, 2020, 03:13:27 PM
For people who does not have enough income to live a comfortable life, we try to find ways to end the struggle, we take big risk to gain big rewards so if we will be successful, we don't need to work anymore and just enjoy the rest of our life doing the things that we can't do due to lack of money.

are you one of the people who dream like this?
Out of luck I made a big earning from gambling. This took place within 24hrs of time. First I lost five ethereum and to recover back I risked another five and got back the lost five along with additional five ethereum. This went on and luck gave me big earning. My mind-set changed to think of making big money and stay comfortable earning through gambling.

Within the next 24hrs I lost what I earned along with my entire balance in the portfolio. Beyond that went for borrowing from friends. Finally I was in huge debt, at that time understood should not think to make money from gambling for living.

This is the biggest and most obvious psychological trick of gambling, the bait and switch. They first give you consecutive wins then you will gain a momentum and you will be caught in the moment that you are feeling high and mighty, then an unknown force just pulls the switch and boom you are losing consecutive times. Then comes the feeling that you might get a break even or you will win back what you just loss so spend more then you lose and you spend again and the perpetual cycle continues and the only thing that will stop is when you are borrowing from your friends which is not a good thing (if you reached this stage, seek help). I knew a lot of people who were in debt because they are gamblers. If you are thinking using gambling as a way of getting financial stability then you need to have a reality check. You could've invested that BTC or ETH but instead you tried to take your chances. Lady Luck doesn't smile on the greedy and idiot people.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 18, 2020, 02:16:11 PM
I would recommend you sports betting(because that's what I do), but if you are not into sports or anything about betting you can do online casino but I am warning you that some online casino can take a lot in your wallet because you might not want to stop because you are losing big, I also don't trust casinos that much because they are made to take more money rather than you taking more money plus there are chances that you will be a victim of casino rigging which is very frustrating because there was no competition done you were just swindled.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus: How can YOU help? on: February 17, 2020, 04:06:01 PM
First and foremost "DO NOT PANIC". The governing bodies are all trying their best not to spread the disease. The lethality rate of the virus is still lesser than Ebola from Africa so panicking never helps. This also helps in preventing the spread of fear and hysteria which causes collective stress which makes the Coronavirus situation worse.

Wait for you governments announcement about the disease, again never panic. Watch news to get daily updates about your country's status and the status of the disease. There will be instructions given to the people by the government to keep the people safe and sound.

Go to your doctor if you are feeling the symptoms of the virus (flu, cough and shortness of breath) or you have been in contact with someone who came recently from Wuhan or other infected places, immediately go to your doctor or any healthcare personnel as soon as possible, this will help in isolating the infection(if you are tested positive) and will help in making sure that you are not infected.

Spread what you know about the disease. Information dissemination plays a big role in this situation.

Wash your hands, include your arms up to your elbow. Wear mask if there were instruction given by your government.

Watch Dr. Mikes video about the Coronavirus, it helps when you know more.
