My experience has been that this forum provides ample of opportunity to hear about good projects first, but sadly there's also a lot of noise in between.
The ICO rush made it into a marketing avenue that every project must have a presence in... It's become harder to spot out the good from the bs but still in certain cections you get to see unique things.

I joined the forum in the bullish year of crypto and I have read some posts from old users that the forum had a period of purity and the crypto as well. People joined the forum purely to discuss technically and there was no scam and spam.

It sounds very perfect forum in the past but things changed with the bullish year in 2017 that triggered spam and scam. Taking chances from the risks, the forum changed too and we have the merit system and two times of Trust system's upgrades to help the forum get its pure conditions back. They (upgraded systems) all have worked very well, fortunately.

There are a lot of advantages but I think one thing that stands out is that you are updated on what is currently happening the cryptocurrency industry, it really helps if you want to invest your time to learn new things about cryptocurrency and its beauty. Your testimony sounds like you went through a lot of learning and I think newbies and pros alike will find that having an updated information about cryptocurrency and slowly learning different things such as trading or gambling will get you further in this path you chose to tread.

Though i am not yet where i am hoping to be on the forum, i must confess that bitcointalk has helped me to improve in my knowledge on different topics. For real i am happy to be here.

My registration date is 2017 thats where the bullish season started to rise. During that time I dont really care about forum and all I care is using this forum for money grabs from airdrops and bounty. But later on it deed chamge as I see the importance of forum in a wider horizon and there still a lot of room of knowledge in my brain coming from this forum.


That indeed is an advantagre that most dont appreciate and rather learning here just hanging out to pissed many members here by spamming.

Well, I believe this is the best platform to talk about pretty much everything related to crypto and all of its related topics. People gain a lot from just hanging out here specially from the experienced people who have been in the field for a long time.

Main advantage that I have found - if you add proper topics on your watchlist, you will get the exact news and updated that is interested to you only. Plus all the unnecessery info will be edite/cut away.

Mch better than reading crypto related blogs/news portals, where everything is posted in a bulk, only to feel the newsline.

Coming on this forum has not only helped my communication through writing but also in my spoken words.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a very active member of a religious gathering. As a matter of fact, I am the second in rank to the head. So, by virtue of that, I usually come up to speak on the different subject matter. Ever since I have been so active here, I discovered that I speak better than I used to and write in a much better way.

This has also helped me a lot in delivering good speeches at my place of work and while I was having my postgraduate studies, I almost became an orator.
This is truly a breeding ground for future leaders.

For me the main advantage to have open account on bitcointalk forum is opportunity to connect with people in my local area and country.
Some of them I even met offline in the real life and we become very good friends.
I can read btc news in many different places today but this forum is great place to connect with others.
Of course, I also enjoy some of discussions here

For me there are many advantages having bitcointalk, in my journey here in bitcointalk i created an account in 2018 where the merit system is applied and i don't know a single thing about bitcoin and crypto that's why i joined this and the first advantage i think is it boost my enthusiasm, my eagerness to learn increases and also my vocabulary i learn many terms about this, strategies that i can apply in my studies, i also tried to construct different topics that focuses on guides, informations and little knowledge avout crypto so that i can help the future newbies so that they can learn easily here in the forum not like back in the day where there are few topics.
