142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should there be some kind of Ethics Counsel for Altcoins? on: June 25, 2020, 10:03:55 AM
This is a problem in cryptocurrency. There are dozen of names and ticker that are the same. For me its unfair on the old compound coin that a new coin is mooning and now traded on big exchange. The 2nd project should consider putting its name or changing it.

Anyway, the system is not patented. Open source means free to be taken and used. It should credit the original but hey even McAfee steals coins whitepapers directly:)
I think this is different case, cause both ticker will be listed on cmc, and some interested investors and traders are likely found it really confusing. For me the 2nd project the new one consider changing ticker symbol at least to give respect on the first one.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prove that Crypto mass adoption is getting in place on: June 25, 2020, 09:48:01 AM
Do not rely on this, it's just a news that could or could not happen, Yesterday news broke regarding the strong possibility that PayPal and Venmo, the two notable fintech companies are both moving to add direct crypto and Bitcoin trading capabilities to their users, what do you think will happen if this comes true??? I like the fact that this is happening and DeFi projects are doing their thing too
This is great news. PayPal is a famous company and if ever they implement to launch crypto payment on their platform that would just increase their clients and customers. Most users are now familiar with this, and I can see a win win situation if thats happen. But Im clueless whether this will be a centralized or decentralized approach. I do hope government would not think of any issues if this will occur.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Building up your reputations as a new bounty manager on: June 24, 2020, 10:04:33 AM
The only effective bounty manager for now in the bounty section is Bounty Detective, I was hoping there are other campaign managers like Arteezy but it seems like he is out of project at the moment. Unlike some random managers who are just dont care about participants. I see thr krypital management bounty.  It looks like they have some line up campaign for injective protocol but currently pause due to some errors. I dont know if their reputation is okay as their campaign is composed of eth payments.

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oikos a scam project or what??? on: June 23, 2020, 06:09:23 AM
Thats the thing about campaign. The team has discretion to change any event depends on their decision. I believe it was always noted on bounty ann thread of every project. I checked the project and it looks like a good one, with success IEO and will have market trading soon. There is no problem extending this, the only thing that is not is holding payment for them in the long run, but probably they will not do it unless they wanted to be known as scam project.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Possible Binance DEX or Atomic Wallet hack on: June 23, 2020, 05:58:33 AM
I change the password from my phone app. But when i try to access the wallet from desktop app with the new password doesn't work.
Now i can access the wallet through desktop app with the old password and from the phone app with de new password. WTF?!
Is something wrong with this wallet. It's smell like a scam, be carefull.
Maybe because it has a different IP and system. Of course it will not be changed automatically on your other devices. Its possible to have a different password on different device/laptop even though your account is only the same.

It seems like that your seed or privkey is exposed and you got hacked is more likely than it was on Binance DEX or Atomic Wallet fault. No one can access your wallet unless they got your seed or privkey somehow.
Thats the only reason. OP does not share any wallet address that we can check so I cant know for sure or maybe just a glitch on the app thats why its gone. Or related to internal error on Binance wallet.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning Scam : Crypcore Exchange on: June 23, 2020, 05:20:19 AM
Probably thats their original Facebook page. However some scammers are just probably using crypcore logo and name and posting on their Original page.

Also if you are using facebook you should at least find something like this:

To know its the real one who is replying cause page creator should have that symbol.

Its the same style on Ledger which I noticed on their page too. Some scammer commenting on their page and asking the same what you saw on crypcore.

So cant say thats on crypcore. Be careful when accusing some project.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They say RNDR is the next big thing on: June 21, 2020, 08:56:16 AM
Problem here is its listed on Probit that known to have manipulation on market. It is also listed on hoo but this one I dont know if this market is good but the highest volume of this token is traded there. Does this project have or conducted any crowdfuning or any IEO? The volume is great but I need to check first if this concept or platform what for.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge transaction fee sent by mistake have been return to owner on: June 20, 2020, 12:14:44 PM
It just shows that they are against any form of hacking and they are one with the community to correct those errors I hope future hacking with a similar scheme will de deal with the same action by miners, it's just right that the huge fee should be returned to the rightful owner, the one will suffer this is the owner and his clients, provided that the owner is running a legit business in the industry.
Not all can be the same like them. Miners are in good stand for doing that, but dont expect a lot of them to be like generous to return the funds. Also its a group of miners, some pool have been solo owner with multiple rigs. Yes they can recognized the potential threat of this kind of situation to be used for modus and hidden agenda but what can we do? Decentralized has it own disadvantages.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex IEO "RingX" on: June 19, 2020, 06:48:56 AM
The IEO was successful and the price was 3.5 times higher than the IEO price. I am not too surprised at this price because they only sell $ 50k to IEO and it is really too little
It all time high reaches up to 7.6x according ico drops. This is really a huge profits for those who manage to invest during its sale few days ago. Right now its on 4x price and still high compared to ieo sale price.

It is another utility token that will be used as loyalty points, why would you buy something, that you can receive for free? It doesn´t make me sense. And investing 1000USD to try the luck, doesn´t seem convincing.
It still not convincing? They bought it for trading and profits. The trading price now is 4x so if you invest 1k usd its become 4k usd now. So which part does not make any sense?
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Huge transaction fee sent by mistake have been return to owner on: June 19, 2020, 06:34:26 AM
What you guys think about this move? As we know it, transaction is irreversible but mistake like this have consequence to every users. What if the mining pool decides to keep it as the error not on their part? If other mining pool were not like these guys of f2pool then some people will loss asset due to human error. Do they only solve big transaction fee? How about those small to medium fees with the same scenario? This show that blockchain transaction is risky too especially if those transactions are been compromised by thieves and hackers.

On 2020-06-11 23:12, F2Pool mined an abnormal 3,221.6454 ETH transaction on the Ethereum network which also had a 2,310 ETH transaction fee. The TXID was 0xfd10c9a4507c4ebf1db9f71e05ba8ea09f3603c9012c24195d731a1fadfa14d9.

Later, on 2020-06-12 00:33, the sender contacted the F2Pool team and explained that they experienced a malicious attack on their node wallet, and 5,531.6454 ETH (worth $1.23 million USD) was transferred out. The sender earnestly requested F2Pool to return the transaction fee part of the transaction to retrieve part of their losses.

F2Pool operates both a PPS pool (address mining) and a PPS+ pool (account mining) for Ethereum. This transaction was mined by the PPS pool (shown by the Hex code ending with b1bc in the block data).

Out of our humanitarian spirit, F2Pool has decided to return the transaction fee component of the transaction. It’s not feasible to return the fee back to the original sender address as the address is also now controlled by the hacker. Therefore, we agreed to send the fee to a new address provided by the original address owner after full verification of the address and owner.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable Coin Treasury keep minting coin why ? on: June 19, 2020, 06:12:27 AM
Is Bitfinex authorized to mint or create new supplies of stablecoin USDT? Sorry for asking but the whalebot alert always popping up with some news on minting new usdt. Is there any regulations where they should just reproduced on timely needed matter?

Im not pessimistic but if this has no regulations from higher authority. Its look like that they are just selling usdt stable coins if there are interested to buy on them with million of cash.  It looks business to me and they have no loss but only profits.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE NEXT ETH?? on: June 19, 2020, 05:09:28 AM
We can look on the bright side for new projects but I fan never replace eth as best altcoin out there. If there arr maybe those on thr top markets but which one is it? Neo? Xlm? Ada? These are the strong candidate but when you think about it. All their platform are all based on ethereum network. Maybe there are still flaws on it but one way or another we can see their progress as their roadmap are still on early phase of development. Still trust eth over dozens of project out there.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: June 17, 2020, 05:05:49 AM
I think everyone has their own story to tell. But OP you got a point on telling us never focus on such coins/tokens that might could end up nothing in the end. Altcoins can give us plenty of profit and gains once we knew which one is good to put our hard earned money.

So far the one we could trust at least is bitcoin and some altcoin in the top markets. I agree that many of you here have the same sentiment towards holding and got rekt when the market crash like hell but we must not repeat those mistakes.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying stablecoins with fiat in a decentralized way? on: June 17, 2020, 04:37:07 AM
That would be hard to find. Almost all parties supporting fiat to crypto are centralized. Dex cant yet make a way for this and only designed for crypto only.

But if you want one, Binance have P2P on some fiat currency to crypto. Why dont you trust a number one exchange for this?

No third party means a direct p2p will be good or a trusted person who are doing buying and selling of cryptocoins and manage via banks or any other wallet apps supporting fiat such as paypal.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex IEO "RingX" on: June 16, 2020, 11:23:18 AM
This is just a part of public sale of Ringx tokens. They plan to sell a total of 150million Ringx token through private and public sells according to their Whitepaper. The prices could be different on private sells. The 150 million tokes is still just 30% of the total supply of 500 million tokens. 70% of which are going to team and advisor and marketing.
Really only a part of a major sale? Can you share the details of this statement from yours.

Sorry I did not include this on my post cause I am not aware with the details of the public sale as these info are the only available on their announcement page. Based on the schedule it should be done already. Im not gonna wonder if this is a completed sale due to very low supply available for this IEO.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Covir.io | Funding of Disinfection Robots through Tokenization | on: June 16, 2020, 10:52:16 AM
If Im right this project is an altcoin ICO right? This should not be here on bitcoin discussion but more appropriate on Atlcoin announcement or discussion. If this project is really gonna used tezos blockchain why I dont hear any projects using tezos as smart contract eversince? I am in doubt the legality although they have been proven partner with a legit stock of octopus robots firm.

Will the project pursue even though you did not reach your fundraising goal? Why not get funds from your huge partnersip deals for development funding?
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KickToken Trading Competition on: June 16, 2020, 10:10:11 AM
Not sure if this will attract many users. If Im not mistaken you deliberately have a giveaway of 888, 888 kick tokens which are just locked and not letting holders to sell or either transfer the tokens. Same with this, dont expect people will trust you, Im asking legitimate question on when you are planning to distribute then the next minute I was banned on your channel. Not so optimisitic with this event of yours.
