1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm curious on: April 27, 2019, 01:03:33 PM
Maybe but impossible. Satoshi has an account here on forum and theymos as well, so meaning they have been exist on this forum at the same time that bitcoin forum was introduced. But maybe he is using a two account? I dont think so! Its a chance but probably little probability that youre prediction or suspection is true. I wanna hear some suggestion as well of the old timer member here when the times they can interact with Satoshi and Theymos during the early years.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: PCORE - PCC Token BOUNTY (NO KYC REQUIRED) on: April 27, 2019, 09:18:09 AM
The owner didnt pay due to the bounty hunters. Beware. Forget to update any on the sheet. Worse management. Ive ask on their telegram about payment but no good response saying their affected with corona and even banning people on their group for asking question about bounty. No good!
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi Nakamoto was known in person on: April 22, 2019, 05:42:01 AM
What's the deal if Satoshi is a group or single entity? I think they/him contributed something in the world that could be of one of the greatest achievement in history. Im glad that he did this, but for the sake of the OP, and the researched I made to know info about Satoshi Nakamoto, he isnt alone, they are bunch of tech guys who are now watching their tech go bloom. There is an article that expose about them but deleted right away. So no traces of them was ever occured since then.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in ICO anymore. Do not Feed scammers on: April 21, 2019, 07:21:25 AM
Agreed. ICO is a source of fund in market cap but there are lots potential project that can be more of good use even though they havent made any public sales in terms of ICO. It actually depends on how the project will be seen and displayed potential working product or can be applied to a lots of use case. Look some project without any ICO but still they have products. Owners of these kind of projects uses the their own money to fund their tech so you can see much seriousness with these kind of people.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting multiple cryptocurrencies in ICO on: April 19, 2019, 07:46:16 AM
I am wondering some ICO's accept only ETH. Some accepts BTC, ETH, LTC and other cryptocurrencies as well. Does accepting more currencies in ICO plays a roles in its success.

Also Ethereum's smart contract are built for accepting only ETH. How other ICO's are accepting multiple cryptocurrencies and pays tokens accordingly? Do they have to maintain a sheet of who pays in what currencies in a sheet and allocate tokens accordingly. It seems to be a hard manual process.

Of course the ICO platform will be the one who will designed and deviced how their sales will work out. Some only chooses eth since their project is relies on the eth smart contract. This is also a good factor how projects can be examined. If an ICO accepts multiple currency meaning they are working beyond normal. Imagine not all people are fond of eth alone, some prefer btc and other coins. So better to pick all currencies to support running an ICO so youre chance to sell more with different investors.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important question to Investors!! on: April 19, 2019, 07:03:32 AM
Hey guys. As the title suggests, i've a question to the presale Investors.

Do you invest in Presales?

What do you research first in order to invest?

What makes the project interesting and worth investing?

I ask all the investors, what makes a coin Perfect!?!

A working platform?

Active devs?

or do you guys see something else too?

Please let me know, i'm really keen to know such stuff before becoming an investor myself. Thanks. Smiley

Depends on the ICO structure actually. Presale has its advantage since the price here is quite cheap compared to main sale stage. But one thing is for sure, most of this have vesting period and this is the worst part. Since you cannot sell all of youre holdings when the right time comes. Lucky if the price wont dump any time. But with the bear market probably can.

Team and working product is important as well. Might suggest to invest on projects that has a legit and working platform if not, then the investment could be nothing. Pay for services not tokens!
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) platforms + profit statistics on: April 17, 2019, 07:26:56 AM
Since Binance launchpad become a trend every new IEO now are keep introducing a lots of new projects. How this IEO defends that their projects being offer on their IEO is legit? Let's say the project has paid the outstanding fee for being listed in their IEO, however this not guaranteed the success of the project. Are those projects have MVP or working platform? The only different of these projects with regular ICO is thay they will be listed on exchange but it seems no difference in the advancement of their project when it comes to innovation.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you look for when investing in new projects? on: April 15, 2019, 09:33:09 AM
As the title says.

I have been interested in cryptocurrency for a long time, but only invested in a few coins like Dogecoin, Bitcoin and Litecoin.

But what do you look for when you search for new projects to invest in?
Algorithms?
Products/Services?
Utilities?

Tell me what you do, I really want to see how others pick projects to support and invest in.

There are lots of factor in choosing a project or potential coins.

On what you have mentioned those are prerequisite of the good project. Likr they should have a working product or mvp. Stay away from projects that are mainly focus on raising funds anf more focus on the sales. Tendency it could be a scam project. You can notice actually if the project is good, there are lots of development progress and more talks about the product itself.

Most importantly the team. As an investors, its youre job to check if the team is real one, cause there are lots of fake accounts that has been used in crypto.
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is advertising for ICOs unethical? on: April 13, 2019, 08:24:42 AM
I've noticed many ICOs have to spend a lot of money on promotions and advertising.

For example, let's say an ICO raises 10 million dollars but has to spend 9 million on promotion.

Therefore, they only really raised 1 million for the project.

Isn't this unethical?

If you're starting a company and looking for investors the traditional way via stock equity, you would never spend 9 million or even 5 million or even 2 million in order to raise 10 million from investors.

This begs the question, what ratio of promotion cost versus funds raised for ICOs is ethical?

And how do we know if an ICO is using an ethical ratio?

There is always a fund or budget component for this. Typical project wouldn't spend much on an advertisement knowing they can't get an audience in order for them to success. If I will create a project, I will hire someone for bounty with an effective marketing. Not just a typical one, and giving a fair budget. Also, used some ads like CMC those with high traffic. Investors likely  to check whats on the ads. Dont spend too much, focus more on development.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the governments ban all privacy cryptocurrencies ? on: April 08, 2019, 06:56:22 AM
I'm considering to buy and hold some privacy coins for long term. I read some articles and they said governments are taking harsh stances on privacy coins. Do you think they will ban all privacy cryptocurrencies by prohibiting exchanges to list those coins?

No will not happened. Privacy coin is same like other coins, is just that they are more conservative than native blockchain since the transaction held in their network is secured by being anonymous. How does it help the community? Possible tracking of source or someone investigating youre account cannot be revealed. Most hackers are watching transactions and watching those account to spot a prey. In privacy coin this is impossible. So I guess its impossible to remove privacy coin in the system.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALL crypto coins are "worthless" right now. Here is why. on: April 06, 2019, 08:14:19 AM
Quite simply put, all coins are worthless right now if crypto is the future of money.  I was looking at the charts and if bitcoin were to rise to $100,000,000 (1 penny per satoshi) at ANY point, that is 20,000x the current price.

In other words, every penny you invest now turns into at least $200 at that point (even if your altcoin is only worth 1 satoshi/coin).  Seems like they are worthless right now compared to what they could be.

The idea is that if you believe altcoins will be world money, why wouldn't you save up as much as you can?

Yes we believe in it but the problem here arises are to far from the improvement that it could actually happened. Imagine for example, right now the value of btc is 5k$ then you hold 1 at least for 20years. Chances it will go back or surpass the last ATH is high. Why? Population increases, mass adoption, who knows what will be the future. Have you heard of any bluechips stock with a record of 10 years fall down? NONE! So the only way is up. But we dont know when!
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looked back - lost! on: April 05, 2019, 07:18:10 AM
You are already in cryptocurrency and you should not regret it.
YES, the course is unstable. Sometimes there are mistakes, but do not look back. You will not change anything. It is better to assume that you made the right decision, even if you got a loss.
We need to move only forward, what do you think?

Ive been in crypto for so long and even the bad stuff already occurred to me. Sometimes Ive earned sometimes I loss. It is not always win here in crypto and not always earning.

If that's the case then everybody will be happy in their experience here. Im proud to say that even though I loss, my earnings still much higher compared to the loss I incurred in crypto. Trading is a headache and a norm we must tolerate here if you wanna stay alive in cryptocurrency market.
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to Create a MyEtherWallet on: April 02, 2019, 05:30:29 AM
Has anyone here experience the same way with me? I created new wallet using the new and improved mew website. There is a lot of choice even in the app. But I prefer to choose the mnemonics scheme.

However when I imported it on my imtoken 3rd party app. The eth address that gave to me in mew is different than the one I imported through imtoken but I encode the mnemonics I got from mew. This new version made me think how the hell that happened?

So my solution is revert back the old mew interface and do the old process and I did it. But still not figuring out why the first one got wronged. Please enlighten me.
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO IS WAY BETTER on: March 31, 2019, 07:43:42 AM
I like IEO but everyone keeps following the same format. Every exchange transforming into IEO already. So every year new trend set. Last year ICO does failed as now IEO is becoming popular. I hate to say it, but later on people will also complained why the price of the tokens on IEO becoming poor or beyond their brought coins. Take a look on Latoken, some coins in the IEO are now below its ico price. So it depend on the exchange who conduct IEO. If they have reputation more investors will dive but unlike Latoken, forget it. I think they dont screen projects on their exchange as long as those pay them.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM Philippines Helps Universities Provide Blockchain Electives on: March 31, 2019, 07:26:47 AM
Philippine Universities Lyceum Of The Philippines and Ateneo De Manila Now Offers Blockchain Elective With The Help Of NEM Philippines.

The first university in the Philippines that has ever signed a contract of a memorandum with NEM Philippines for this project is Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU).

The deal was that NEM Philippines would be curating a syllabus for an elective course on Blockchain technology. They will also be providing training for the professors of ADMU on how to instill the blockchain knowledge to their students.

Read more here: https://www.unblock.news/news/nem-philippines-helps-universities-provide-blockchain-electives

Thanks for the share. Since then a lot of Filipinos already been incorporated or affiliated with crypto and now they going bigger and bigger. I guess the elective should be well implemented into other school's not only on those schools. Crypto is a bit wide and needs a lot for everyone to grasp. Im from Philippines so I am very happy to hear this great news. Now everyone can learn crypto in a decent way not just hear crypto is a scam.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on android phone on: March 29, 2019, 06:39:35 PM
I’m a complete beginner with this , does anyone have any tips for apps to mine bitcoin through android phones? I read various stories on doing this, some not so great but thought I’d give it a try

The stories you read are probably cloud mining which tells that we can mine bitcoin or it is a faucet type but that has a difference on mining btc. You need to have tool such as GPU and a power energy source to do this which I think phones can't probably cant supply unless someone integrate it on the mobile but that would be useless.

I heard this project Taucoin which is planning to build a mobile app mining and I guess they have potential to pulled it off using a different consensus protocol. But for btc not possible or never will using POW.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CFNP] MatchBillion.com Signature Campaign | Full Members + | ETH + MBL Payouts on: March 26, 2019, 08:01:31 AM
Hi manager,
I saw that one minutes ago.
Did you know about that one?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5122209.0
It has not listed in the list of current active campaign on OP of Match Billion.
It is weird to see two campaigns run concurrently with two kinds of payment rates.

It looks similar to what happened with Stake.com's campaigns weeks ago.

I am aware and I asked MatchBillion to find someone besides me to run the full bounty. This campaign that is paying out ETH will continue and run side by side with the Bounty, so nothing to worry about Smiley.

Hello would like to ask if the slots for senior are filled already or do you still accept new participants. Thanks!
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I think the market is becoming bullish..What do you think on: March 23, 2019, 02:20:18 PM
With a lot of news in the crypto world I think we are ready and set for the next bull run. I am positive about it and I believe the market will not be bearish forever. I actually want to hear your view on this particular topic.

On what basis you think the next bull run will happened? I think fundamental reason isn't enough to supply the necessary market cap for the bull run and I don't want to know  that the market increases only due to shilling.

Much better to look on the progress of the development of their product. I dont know why people focuses on the trading aspect. Well I guess that's the life of a trader/cryptoenthusiast. With btc current level Im not sure if it can break out the 4k level. Hope it does!
1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance IEO ( CELER ) Tricks to BUY on: March 21, 2019, 05:26:23 AM

As you all know CELER IEO on Binance will happened few hours from now. Last time on FET IEO there are too many people who didnt managed to buy some tokens. Why? Obviously the system network were clogged due to mulitiple signup and purchases which resulted to loading and late upload of sales.

TRICKS ON PURCHASING

1. Login to you're Binance account in a fast device or computer with high speed internet

2. Upon seeing the 1sec countdown, refresh the page ( To remove some cache app or data loaded in the web of your browser)

3. Compute before hand the celr tokens you will purchase based on your BNB balance. Check the Image for price computation.
(Image)

4. Easy input the total tokens and click confirm. Even though its loading chances is high to purchase CELR since we removed unnnecessary delay on buying.

HOPE I DID HELP YOU AND HAPPY INVESTING.

Good job with this instruction, when I saw it I didn't bother to try out if this will work out. Actually, Ive used you're suggestion using a high mbps internet to make sure. But  the problem prompted on the binance server itself which trigger logging out. Ive seen the percentage of sales moving while mine still in queue. I guess the error must be explain by Binance since the glitch isnt that so right on the timing of the time based sale.

NOTE: Please lock the thread to avoid spam messages here. You already did a great job emphasizing the process to attain high chance of purchasing on Binance.
1100  Other / Archival / Re: The Founder of Bitcoin on: November 02, 2018, 12:45:01 PM
I think it is too dangerous for Satoshi Nakamoto to reveal it's self.
I guess he/she is happy and contented with the life he/she have now,
Peaceful and quiet no media or anything to bother them including his/her family of course.
