2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Want to get Merits?? Read this!! on: November 28, 2018, 03:42:29 AM
Haha thank you so much. At first I was just regarding this bitcoin forum as a place I can look at others' comments or reviews on different topics, but now I think being a part of the members should try to make some contributions by sharing my comments, even if there might me mistake. Mistakes can allow me to work on more accurate and quality comments.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now a stable coin? on: November 23, 2018, 07:26:23 AM
I think we cannot regard the price is stable in price but on the investment purpose, currently there are stable coins, which stable coins means that to the coin is pegged with another stable assets, for example like the Tether(USDT) and basecoin are 1:1 with the USD, but they have a different working approaches.

I concern about the stability on price, so for me Bitcoin is not; understanding that Bitcoin has already got a mature development, it is more trust-worthy for the investment than most of the altcoins

7  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it possible to have a QR code that generates a different address every scan? on: July 17, 2018, 02:40:03 AM
The best practice is to generate a different bitcoin address for each visitor in the restaurant, which would result in a different QR code each time. Firstly, reusing the same address twice is discouraged. And second, trying to distinguish users by amount they sent or by correlating the time they do it is a very unstable strategy. What if the payment gets delayed? What if you have more than one checkout point/waiter with the smartphone? Generating a separate address for each check solves all problems.

If it was not for a restaurant, but, let's say, a public display with the address to send donations, and you wanted to hide the total, you could change the address each time you receive a payment there.

And finally, what you propose can fully be done only in complete hell-bent on privacy blockchains like Monero. In Monero, you can display your address publicly, a sender can see their transaction confirmed, but they can never know how much XMR went into the same address from other senders, and, by extension, how much total you have in your account.

Definitely agree. Note that although right now bitcoin is under public blockchain, the industry is promoting and concerning about the development of privacy coin. In the wechat payment system in China, our accounts can provide a new and different QR codes for new transactions. It is a good idea about generating different QR code to avoid duplicate transaction at the same time or cannot record correctly.
8  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to make your project successful? on: July 10, 2018, 03:50:20 AM
Has a very convincing project ideas and reliable team members. In the whitepaper, not only you have to list about the roadmap of your projects as a reasonable target, but also feasible project idea, showing to convince potential investors to support you.
9  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Google will ban ads involving cryptocurrencies on: July 10, 2018, 03:40:24 AM
Because Google does not have such a right or ability to determine whether the project is good or not and to limit the ability for the ads. It is quite unfair if such a policy is created for good icos only but we also can never tell whether such an ICO is good or not, success or fail at the end even if it is a good one. They may not have enough capital or extra problems occured while led to fail
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: can someone explain why so many ICO's are scams? on: July 09, 2018, 03:49:21 AM
You just have to be careful before you invest into any new ICOs. To be honest it is risky to invest ICOs as we do not have enough information to know or foresee how the crowd sale will go which is a very essential area that affect their development.
11  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: messenger with blockchain technology on: July 05, 2018, 07:15:37 AM
Support your passion but was just wondering how this built technology can bring extra benefits? You should first know how the current messenger works, what kind of significant problem that can be solved by blockchain so as to build up your idea which is reasonable to convince other to support and use your project. You should have sufficient support, no matter on statistics or on interviewees' point of view.

If you have no idea on how to build a blockchain, how does it actually work, you should study more on the concept and the technical part first. To build your own blockchain, i think you may try on the HyperLedger Fabric, I am also a newbie learning about blockchain development there.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is there any tutorial on setting up a EOS account? on: July 04, 2018, 04:04:27 AM

I had been following a tutorial about setting up EOS account to try for a EOS dApp, which I have to download Scatter from the extension, as introduced like ETH MetaMask. But I failed to open the account.

13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Motivates you to Invest in Cryptocurrency? on: July 03, 2018, 03:43:14 AM
Was trying to get involve to the crypto market because of the trend, just take trading crypto like how we buy stock. But it will eventually let you to explore more about why such a number of ICOs coming out, how I should secure my capital and which and where to invest. It is a very interesting field to explore indeed, and I am also surprise to know that blockchain is actually a very important technology here where different ICO projects are trying to use it to solve or improve any problem, this is inspiring. that is why i do not feel hesitate to continue the investment, and I am also looking forward to seeing a foreseeable world development by blockchain.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to identify SCAMS? on: June 28, 2018, 02:27:38 AM
For example when reviewing the whitepaper, you should understand that ICO are mainly talking about blockchain technology project which to solve or improve the current existing problem in reality, no matter in which field. Therefore, the whitepaper should be indicating the problems first, and introduce how they will develop a blockchain technology, in a professional manner and data or model support.
Then you should have a look on their road map, whether they are having a sufficient and reasonable roadmap as an ICO project takes time to develop in both their sales part and development part. As long as you think it is reasonable, you can then proceed to (i) social media handling (ii) team / advisor for the project
(i) social media / community manager can show the relationship and the interaction from the team with the potential investors. The team may not be able to develop a super perfect idea and project, but from expectation and comments from potential investor, they can gain a lot information and knowing where to improve from different angles
(ii) for sure some famous or well-known tech developer would give this project a very good expectation, or else you can briefly read the profession from the team member or advisor. It is definitely a bonus if the team has developed similar projects before, experience speaks.

Although the review is kinda subjective, but as long as it can convince you, i think it worth your support and investment first. Failure of ICOs may not be due to the initial development process, may not mean it is a scam.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Useful Tools to analyze cryptocurrencies market on: June 22, 2018, 03:05:54 AM
I think the site is just providing a chart for displaying historical data by different categories, what I expect a useful analysis tools is from a professional / experienced trader making conclusion on under what particular reasons happening in the world is affecting the market like when an exchange hacked, when some regulations about crypto is out. It would be also more enthralling if any prediction is made, as a forecasting report by any forecasting tools.

Hope to see more from this website
16  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: I have something curious about POW on: June 21, 2018, 02:43:17 AM
Agreed above comments about how the miners gain after they had finished the mining

Here is a site where I learnt about blockchain and cryptocurrencies from, this is a very detailed and useful site for fundamental knowledge need.
As I remember, there is a post about PoW and PoS, you should explore more about other than these two, there are a few more consensus method, and do comparison about these method. I believe you will also encounter more questions like what is Hard Fork and Soft Fork, how are the different cryptocurrencies working or solve any problems. There are a lot more to work on.

If you still encounter some questions on a particular issue, actually in bitcointalk there are already some posts of similar questions, you may search it, or from reddit there are also some serious discussion forums, but there are much harder

Hope these can help you
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Already lost 50% of my capital on: June 20, 2018, 02:51:16 AM
At the moment it still needs time for the market to return back to a higher price, i think you should invest the money to those still getting constant movement first. Do not easily trust the advice from others, you have the experience in trading to determine how you should continue.
You are not the only one losing such a percentage of capital.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can blockchain improve our environment? on: June 14, 2018, 04:03:08 AM
Yes, like how it is recommended to have a full monitoring on any raw material / ingredients for food, this could first ensure that during the first process, the quality is already controlled and tried the minimize the waste it made because it is being monitored.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find ICO team member's fake or real. on: June 13, 2018, 03:46:14 AM
Sometimes profile or others comment on qualifications in LinkedIn are scam  Undecided Undecided
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which countries's ICOs you invested on: June 12, 2018, 02:48:06 AM
For sure I focus on the development and ideas from the ICO projects first rather than locations. But if you ask me to choose I think I would select Singapore, since ICOs right now in Singapore are in a more mature state, there are more regulatory rules in Singapore towards the field for CryptoCurrencies, I think the reliability is the highest.
