461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if someday the network internet totally dead . on: April 19, 2017, 05:12:08 AM
you can always use cash, and plastic money, i wonder what would happen if btc becomes main currency, will it wipe out real curency or at least plastic bank cards ?

462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: April 19, 2017, 05:08:07 AM
for me at the  end of the day, bitcoin is just another currency. so why not do something which makes you lots of money and then buy bitcoins ?
you can always mine bitcoins, but the speed is very slow.

463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: April 19, 2017, 05:04:43 AM
i dont trust online wwallet, you wil never know what will happen, any rogue employee ot someone hacks a site.

i prefer my pc and in some cases, offline storing.

464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: April 19, 2017, 05:02:50 AM
for me bitcoin is retirement.

buy when low and hold on to it and then after 20 years, sell it and retire.

465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is to storage private keys in the cloud? on: April 19, 2017, 04:57:22 AM
if you dont want to loose your bitcoins, then dont share your private keys, its as simple as that.

take your private keys offline. period.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: April 19, 2017, 04:40:04 AM
i spend btc, only when there is no other option for payment except btc.

but i do plan on saving it for future., and i am hoping that price would reach 50k per btc.

thanks
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: April 19, 2017, 04:38:38 AM
why would someone dont like bitcoin ? i mean unless they have lost few bitcoins or some $$$ trading in bitcoins.

you can ofcourse ignore them.,

btc is private currency, you should keep it that way, why would you tell anyone that you have invested in bitcoins.

thanks
468  Other / Off-topic / Re: What causes older Mobile Phones to Slow Down? on: April 14, 2017, 04:14:24 PM
the softwares fill up free spaces with logs and unwanted junk.

if you want to enjoy your phone like new,
take backup
do a complete format.
do restore.

less free space is major issue for phone slowing down., and some major companies give 16 gb for internal storage .
and reboot your phone once in a two days. it keeps phone fast, at least in my case.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2017, 04:10:29 PM
buy when price is low and hold on it for like 10-20 years and then sell and retire.

this is my plan.

471  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to create site like blockchain.info ? on: April 12, 2017, 07:15:18 AM
There are plenty of open source block explorers that you can use. Just search on github for one. If you want something that has support for wallets that may be harder to do.

at initial level, i am just trying to start blockchain information site, no members area, no wallet management.

thanks , this is very constructive , ill look in github for BTC block explorers.

472  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to create site like blockchain.info ? on: April 12, 2017, 07:07:21 AM
May I ask why you'd like to create such a site? Is it for a new coin or are you just looking to create another block explorer? There are already a handful of block explorers for Bitcoin. If you're looking at it from a business perspective then the market is pretty much saturated as it is.

i am looking to create BTC block explorer, from a business perspective.
i didnt know there are others too ..

Thanks though. ill see which one is more popular and has less competition .

473  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to create site like blockchain.info ? on: April 12, 2017, 07:00:45 AM
Do you want to create it from scratch? If so, i don't think that's a one man job. Even if it was, it is clearly not a job for your abilities. I would open a topic in the market section and look for a web developer if i were you. Nobody will share this information for free.

thanks for your reply.

what coding skills does this type of site requires ?

i read, btc creates a ledger on each PC so if i could read that file and load it in db , i guess, i can go from there.

475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU MINING on: April 12, 2017, 06:40:24 AM
I am now confused about GPU mining. Can any pro explain me what is needed for GPU mining?
Which processor and what specifications are used for GPU mining?
I guess higher processor like i7 are not required?
Can any pro help in this plz?
Thanks.

The only real requirements are :
- an adequate Mobo (ie with enough Pcie lanes)
- a solid PSU (don't take a cheap one, if you do you will have more chances setting your house on fire/burning up your equipment than making ROI)
- GPUs : look for RX 470/480 or GTX 1070
- powered risers
- the rest : as cheap as you can get it (celeron CPU / 4gb ram / small SSD/HDD/USB stick)

how many GPU are minimum required ?

thanks
476  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which ASIC miner is profitable right now ? on: April 10, 2017, 03:01:31 PM
Altcoin may be a better option for you

you mean, mining alcoin and then exchange it with btc or holding on to altcoin ? or mining and selling instantly ?

,thanks
477  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which ASIC miner is profitable right now ? on: April 10, 2017, 02:25:22 PM
Hi all,

I am new here , i have been planning to get ASIC miner i was going to get Antminer s7, but read threads suggesting, it was not profitable .

besides i am from village area in India and power goes down lots of time and Internet goes down too. but i have access to cheap electricity .

is there live chat feature on this forum, i have lots of questions.

1) do i have to start ASIC after power failuer ? or does it starts automatically and starts mining by itself ?
2) Do i need Air Conditioning system for 1-2 ASIC miners in a room , Temperature here (India) is quite high ?
3) How often difficulty increases ?
4) does the difficulty decreases too ?

So is there ASIC miner which is profitable right now. provided that BTC value stays the same or increases.

Thanks for your time.,

If you have really cheap electricity, try an Avalon miner (probably an Avalon miner 721) as to Bitmain they have a high hashrate for the hardware costs but the electricity usage is not as efficient (so you need really cheap or free electricity for that).

If your consumption is more normal, an Antminer S9 might be better for you, especially if you're lucky enough to get one cheap or second hand.

antminer s9 looks good, but the price is very high at the moment., and i  from india, so idk how much i would have to pay for customs ..

plus electricity goes down as well as internet connection too.

thanks for your input though.

479  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It is good to invest in mining hardware or in btc stocks? on: April 10, 2017, 02:09:21 PM
imho buying btc directly is the best option, keep buying btc when the price drops and hold on to it.

i myself have been planniing to buy ASIC, but the difficult keeps increasing every few weeks.

i even tried to rent ASIC power from cloud mining , but they will terminate contract if the expenses are increased so its better to buy BTC directly.

good luck

i am saving bitcoin for future and i really hope one day btc price will touch $10k.

till then i am going to hold on to them.
