There is already a token with same name and symbol of NCL. Why are you using the same name?

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Credence Coin Scam discussion on: December 08, 2017, 07:34:05 PM
I would like to know if Crypto Kong has the BTC from the ICO also or just CRDNC tokens. If he has BTC he should give it back to the early investors from the ICO. What good is having 2 million CRDNC?

Credence went on and on in their ann page and white paper about how they were NOT a hyip or scam and that they were going to be around for as long as there was electricity. It was all bs.

If nothing else can be gained, at least there are some valuable lessons here:

- Do not trust any ICO. Treat any ICO as if you already know upfront its a scam. Then you can decide to take a chance on it.

- If you do decide to invest gamble your money on an ICO only use money that you would use in vegas. In other words dont use funds your not comfortable losing.

- If you get lucky and 5x or 25x like credence did at some point.. for the sake of all that is good, TAKE SOME PROFITS. You can that way come out ahead if its a scam and then decide if you want to let the rest ride.

- Diversify! If you spread your money out among many platforms and ICO's you can greatly reduce your chances of losing since they usually dont all pull a credence at the same time.

Are you associated with realisto? Because much of your whitepaper is identical word for word to theirs.

Here's my 3 satoshis.

1. Launch the website and let folks register to prove it was functional. Put 5 Credence Coins into the wallet on the website for anyone who registers. Folks can then test and send Credence to their desktop wallets and confirm it was a function website linked to the block chain.
2. Hardfork to the block prior the funds got stolen.
3. Issue new wallets that is on the new chain after all nodes have been update.

Unless those 3 happen I could care less about this coin. I don't really care for a refund at ICO prices, partial or even full.

I 2nd this idea.

If you are still even or even at a slight loss at current price.. sell now and wait until the dust settles. Its VERY likely they are scamming. Look at the movement of the big wallets on the explorer.

If they are not scamming you can always jump back in later.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] {CredenceCoin} - CRDNC - Lending-Staking-Referrals-Mining on: December 05, 2017, 05:52:58 PM
While I know they have scammed us, I just dont understand why now?  They could have just delay delay delay, and slowly sold out coins.

Or they could have just open the platform, let people put in BTC, then run.  Its not like that would have cost them much.   They dont pay people in money, they pay them in tokens and I think you can just buy these exchange softwares for a couple hundred dollars.

They would have made so much more either way.

Actually they couldn't make more because they risk not being able to dump the coins if they got caught, so now was the perfect time when nobody knew what happened. Bank robbers dont rob a bank over a period of weeks, they do it in seconds.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] {CredenceCoin} - CRDNC - Lending-Staking-Referrals-Mining on: December 05, 2017, 05:44:49 PM

Now lets assume Credence is not a scam and they will recover. The hit they took was massive. The entire reputation was destroyed and not having even a site up while this is going on makes it even worse. The damage has been done and too many people will leave and talk bad. Even if lending finally starts I just can't see how they will gain trust of people. This dumping will forever be associated with Credence and any new potential investor will just walk away without thinking.

Well said sir, with this fiasco now on everyone's radar, their reputation is in the toilet and no one will ever trust the project. Even if they do get the site launched who in their right mind would invest in it? Not me, I have 0 trust left. As Mark Cuban would say, "and for that reason Im out."

I never had a good feeling about this coin since day 1

that's why I stuck to GoldReward and Hextra.. both are doing very well Smiley

they can still pull a credence. be careful!

Dev Message

1.  What has happened is one of the devs who has control of part of the pre-mine has either been hacked or is selling.
2.  We are unable to contact but have left several messages.
3.  The site is completed and was due to release early in the next few hours we have put a hold on that given what has taken place.
4.  This is NOT a planned exit or scam, we stood to make a whole lot more money by running the site and having the coin grow naturally it was trading strongly at $4 before this happened and probably would have hit $8-10 when we went live, so if we are doing a planned exit scam it is the most pathetic one in history.  Nor would we be bothering to try and explain what has happened.
5.  Our only hope  is 2 of 2 things.  1.  The Dev has been hacked and we can recover the majority of coins or 2.  We can contact him and have him send the remainder of the pre-mine and personal and still run the site without a massive amount of unaccounted for CRDNC on the market.  Should either of these things happen we would be in good shape but I do not hold out much hope at this stage.
6.  Want to apologize to all investors and believers in this project, this was NEVER MEANT TO HAPPEN and after spending weeks and weeks getting the site ready to have this happen is so wrong it is unfathomable.
7.  Can only offer sincere apologies and understand your anger and frustration and if there is anyway we can salvage the remaining majority of coins we will get the project running.

So in summary, the following could potentially happen -

To the person that goes by the user name of "credencecoin"...

POTENTIALLY ? OUR ONLY HOPE ? SHOULD ? This all means that NOTHING will happen. NEVER MEANT TO HAPPEN ? Why werent steps put in place to prevent this from happening? Who are you? I had alot of faith in this project, but if you didnt secure the wallet against hacks and dont know if the dev is selling or how to contact the dev and if this whole time you fooled us all into thinking you ARE the dev then you are one effed up person. I really hope this is not the case but karma will catch up with you if so. You posted the platform would be live within 12 hours and now you say its not going to be. You can still launch the platform even with this situation happening. For you to say its not a scam and that you are not scamming when everything says the opposite is not convincing. Talk is cheap, you need to show some positive action to restore faith in the project like open the platform as promised.

Last night I happened to be logged into mercatox and in the trollbox someone was announcing very specific details about a massive dump coming in the next few minutes, then they announced it was coming again right this moment. A few seconds later the price started dumping hard! The details by this person were very specific so it seemed like it wasnt just a fudder. They said price would be at $0.25 soon. This leads me to believe that credence is likely to really be a scam.

Guys and gals, this whole scene is royally messed up and im deeply disappointed and feel really sad if you lost money, but read between the lines here... this project is 99% most likely dead. Take your losses now and get out while you still can.

Credence at 300$?
Well i would be Super Happy at 30$

credence and bitconnect have similar circulating supplies and we all know where bitconnect is priced. so its actually not out of the realm of possibility to see $300 credence

Get a better PC if your current one is struggling, simple as that, you aren't going to tell game devs that you get choppy graphics and performance with sub par specs so why have a cry about a webpage Cheesy

wth kind of computer are you running? a dell from 96 or what?  Grin

Im running an Intel i5, but thats not the main reason I posted this request. Whats important with having forced animations is the overall impression it gives. Ultimately, the more that can be done to improve the first impression of someone visiting the webpage for the first time, the more likely they will invest in the project and the higher the price will go.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] {CredenceCoin} - CRDNC - Lending-Staking-Referrals-Mining on: December 01, 2017, 02:48:24 PM

Hello Dev Team,

I wanted to say job well done on the progress! I love the project but one thing I am having some trouble with is the star-field background on the https://www.credencecoin.co/login page.

What I have found is that the star-field:

- is very visually distracting
- increases CPU load about 25% (Im on an Intel i5, and the additional load can be verified with the task manager in windows)
- makes the web page slower to load
- is not necessary to have on a world-class website and is likely to create a less than optimal first impression to new visitors.

Im sure I speak for others as well. Whats important with not having forced animations is the overall impression it gives. Ultimately, the more that can be done to improve the first impression of someone visiting the webpage for the first time, the more likely they will invest in the project and the higher the price will go. Can you remove the star-field animation, or at least make it a still image?

Thank you!

should i hold my credence coin mercatox or put at the wallet for staking.

also, parking your coins on an exchange is risky.. just google mtgox and read how many people got hosed by leaving their coins on that exchange.

man i love credence but they need too hurry up. competition is having their lending platform ready in like 5 days, why are they taking so long?

most "competition" are sloppy and will have issues. credence wants to make sure everything works very well. for example, look how long electroneum is taking to make sure everything is right. compared to them credence is moving along very quickly.
