Also about hodling NEO. I like GAS it's token that usually costs around 40-50% of the NEO price. But it can easily pump a lot because many people don't even know about it and any good promotion from "hypers" like "McAfee" can pump it a lot.

Arbitrage with algorithms is stable business but it needs much more money to have good interest for those 3%

But without algorithms you can earn by buying cheaper on ED while waiting the bigger exchanges if you know that project is strong enough to hold it for some time.

If we try to analyse it from the math perspective. There are around 50-70 thrillions USD. And most people investing aroung ~2% in risky assets. 2% from 50-75 thrillions is around 1-1.5 thrillion. It's pretty rough but it's better than nothing. Wink

Price is most important marker for most of the people now. Many newcomers even not trying to understand the technology behind different projects. We can see it in the hype metrics(cryptocompare has it in the social filters). When the price goes up people talks more, when it goes up it talks less. We will see "2013 crisis 2.0" for sure and people will scream that somebody stole their money. And most people will dump their tokens cheap.

Задумка в теории здравая но на практике в данный момент трудно-применимая. По мере улучшения ситуации с масштабируемостью или запуска проектов в работе уровня EOS это будет проще. А пока централизованные решения все равно будут удобнее.

По вопросу топик стартера есть топовый ресурс из представленных это icodrops, ориентируйтесь на то, что они уже сделали или планируют и ищите в чем вы можете конкурировать с ними. Most ICOs are still on the Ethereum and most ICOs will be on ETH in 2018, imho. Many big companies already using it many banks already implementing it in their needs and for testing. I think it can be easily 2k in 2018 but it depends on the total market cap overall.

In the near future bounty as payment will be more and more popular. And as we can see many projects inducing their ico participants to participate in the promotion and supporting the project. Proof of care will be mandatory for the most good projects.

You are talking about correlations. They are not stable anyway. You can predict it with some % chance. For example LTC was good hedge against BTC for a long time in the past. But right now there are a lot of strong and interesting coins that looks more stable than other: EOS for example. You can watch the charts from the past few weeks and analyse by yourself. Dash is also interesting and correlating with BTC sometimes. But doing it by the hands isn't best option. People who are good at the correlation using algorithms to analyse it in % together. Just looking the charts isn't best option imho.

Think of it from the point of view of government officials. Bitcoin is scary because it's anonymous. They don't know what the bitcoin users are paying for. This means that if they legalize it in their country, it's possible that they've legalized a currency that can be used for drug trades, terrorism, weapons, etc.

This is dangerous because the government is not supposed to scare the citizens. Besides those reasons, I don't think there's a strong enough reason to ban bitcoin.

They ban also because they want to protect citizens from the most risky assets comparing to the regulated stocks market. Most government is not even understand the technology behind bitcoin good enough to regulate and they ban what they can't control.

Bitcoin is like index of cryptocurrency. If the market grow over the time bitcoin will grow too accordingly. Bitcoin is the most known brand and it has the technology behind it enough for its needs.

There are not any public spreadsheet. The team is not talking about this publicly. It's a little bit strange. But as it is.
