No ICO is giving profit to their investors and it does not matter how good the project is, even if there is a working product. BTC is doing awesome and make x3 science the beginning of this year, so definitely buying BTC is a better choice.

Yes, it is too hard to predict what will happen again ,the only thing that I know is that better to buy altcoin now, and wait for bitcoin halving next year, because many people believes that this halving will affect the bitcoin price, when bitcoin price gets up, the altcoin will go pump too.

The victims are generally inexperienced crypto investors who haven't conducted decent project research during the investment process. The scammers don't go away, they come back with their "unique" ideas again and the victims change hands. There is more than 2000 altcoins in the coinmarketcap and at least half of the listed altcoins have no real use case or working product, unfortunately.

Personally, I believe that cryptocurrency is a very profitable capital investment. And in 2020, the most promising coins may be Ethereum Bitcoin Litecoin. Since according to all forecasts of specialists, these coins have good development potential.

Only way way to get profits from ICO is to create new one or join in very early stage. Serious ICOs are super rare. For long term I would definetly invest on BTC, for ICOs maybe worth to invest in few with hope to get return and one unicorn but I think actually it is hard to find this kind.

with or without a prediction, I'm sure the price of the bnb will definitely increase as long as the reputation and development of Binance itself remains good. but if predict the price of 2k it seems really doubtful. my prediction the highest price around 100$. but it all depends on the movement of bitcoin too.

From what I understand, stable coins are usually used for trading and are not an investment. Investments should be volatile and the value of stable coins is always based on the dollar value. Maybe I'm wrong but one day the exchanger allows direct deposits from banks, stable coins like USDT will begin to fade

Your selections are good by mentioning bitcoin and ETH plus others, but truth is aside the aforementioned there are still upcoming projects especially those build this year that would definitely do so well next year, we can't really predict how it's going to be but I guess next year being 2020 would be a great one for crypto.

Yes, we can expect it. But lots of potential altcoins has been died after the bull run! So, if another bull run even come, people will not buy a shit coin like before, they will only buy the potential one. Crypto people learned a hard lesson from the long run bear run!

When you say "failed projects are different from scam projects", I think the better way to put it is "not all failed projects are scam" since there are some failed projects which are scam after all. Also, for your 3rd point, "basically project failure happens when fund needed is not raised succesfully" , this is just one of the many reasons why projects fail (not the only reason) since fund mismanagement even when project hits hardcap after token sale will also lead to failed project. We just have to move on when projects fail and learn from it.

this website is a good way of monitoring ICO way back 2017 and there are so many successful project you can see there before. The problem start   in 2018 when the rating they give to a project is  base on the money given to them not base on legitimacy of the project . 

Crypto being dragged to illegal things, it's no longer a question but a reality that even terrorist are learning this industry, they knew how to take advantage and how they can manage to hide those illegal acts that they are doing. It's the government who needs to counter this and they need to have strict policies once incident like this being proven to exist inside their jurisdictions.

Ethereum will at some point recover that is almost undeniable, what happens is that many are looking for fundamental reasons for this to happen, they think if that another upgrade takes place then the price should go up but we are seeing that the only thing that matters is the demand, if no one wants to buy ethereum then it does not matter what the developers do the price will not go up, and the demand will only go up if many investors with a lot of money decide to buy ethereum.

Personally, I also think to save some assets such as bitcoin and xlm for retirement. But I just want to save it in a hardware wallet. On the other hand, storing it in a hardware wallet also provides easy access without other rules. So that my family also knows how to access it. I'm just not sure if the coinbase project will take long or not. Because as we know, there are so many interventions on crypto that anything can happen.

We need not worry about the current trend about the Bitcoin, even the price of drops and suddenly the price of Bitcoin starts recovering. So it is always good to grab the altcoin when we have spare money because once it starts recovering we might make some decent profit with the Bitcoin investment. So Bitcoin investment is always good for the long term.

If the beginner does not have a good strategy it is best not to take the bet and that is absolutely right. This becomes a matter that continues to be thought of by them if losses begin to approach them.

Now those were some big words definitely. No doubt that tron is getting a lot of appreciation and its investors hold high hopes, but I don't think that it can get to where ethereum is today and that to easily. You are definitely forgetting the hard times that ethereum has survived through. There are far better projects than this and still none of them has taken place of ethereum. Regardless of its slow pace, it has managed to remain the number one altcoin.

Good point. Assuming all the 30K members were legit and really interested in the project, it's hard to maintain a good discussion among members there. It's like combining all topics in one board from off-topic, technical, investment-related, and others. That's really messy  

This is also why some projects who wants a real discussion have migrated to discord and slack. Although there is still censorship, the topics can be discussed in a more orderly manner.
