401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 Bull Run Speculation. Which Coins Will Go Through The Roof? on: December 17, 2019, 09:09:06 PM
I can't really say or assume anything right now because it is not as simple as everyone wants it to be, i think once the bull run appears many coin will also increase just like back in 2017 where almost all coins went very high, so i will not choice any coin, i will just wait to see bull run again.

when the bull run there is a lot of altcoin that grows with a pretty good movement, but I think people will be smarter in the next bullrun because in 2017 the hype on the new altcoin is pretty much and I think in the coming year it will be better for bull run
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cheap website with low fees to trade and convert btc to ethereum ?? on: December 17, 2019, 06:58:46 PM
I think if you don't want to do KYC then you can sell it to coin collectors, and maybe the fee will be lower but you need to be careful because not all collectors really do their job. look for collectors token that has high confidence in the forum or outside the forum
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Do Women Want? More Educational Materials Before Investing in Bitcoin on: December 17, 2019, 02:56:18 PM
There would be more women investing in bitcoin if they had more educational materials to help them, a new report found. Find there https://www.coindesk.com/what-do-women-want-more-educational-materials-before-investing-in-bitcoin

That'd be great.  Bitcoin tends to have far to many male traders and investors.  It would be beneficial to world as a whole if there were more knowledgeable women in this field.  It's too bad there's not enough educational materials.  There's been a lot of drama the past year so even if you are an expert, any advice that has been given hasn't helped as much as it should.

actually there are enough sites that provide education and also learning about crypto, but in terms of education quite rarely people are interested in crypto because it is not very popular and also material about crypto is not enough to discuss significantly
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 16, 2019, 08:47:14 PM
I am investing in ZEC, NEO and EOS, because I think that those are the most underrated coins with huge potential. However, it does not seem that BTC dominance is going to decrease, thats why BTC is still the best option.
the coin you said has a pretty good potential in my opinion, even though the ranking is not good enough but the potential that is owned for me is quite large. and now bitcoin is still the best choice in function and investment
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: December 16, 2019, 08:36:06 PM
When 2019 started you have a lot of expectation especially when the price is moving up again from a very long bear trend, you expect that the price will reach another all-time high this year, because of a lot of great news like the Facebook coming in the market.

I'd like to ask the community, is your expectation close to the reality that we've experiencing right now?

I try to keep my expectations in check because it is very easy to think about all the profits that the market of cryptocurrencies is going to give you and then begin to daydream about what you're going to do with that money and then when that doesn't happen you're going to be very disappointed with the results because it is impossible for the market to match your expectations, I prefer to just take it a day at a time and take whatever the market gives me.
I also understand how to have hope after being stuck long enough in a bearish condition, it's good not to over-expect if in reality it might not happen. It's better to have a little realistic expectations than big expectations, maybe you can have big expectations but to a certain degree
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 16, 2019, 04:37:21 PM
Sell everything what do you have and cry later when bitcoin or assets do you buy have lower price, why take big risk for selling your old bike or some one want to sell their house to invest with bitcoin, never heard when many investor said you can get much profit with bitcoin during one month and you want sell your house.

He just sold his Bike, which I think is fine as it can depreciate in value over time or worst will just get rotten in your house, so better to invest it rather than selling your house or any good properties, at least you can still have another bike once you work hard, but once the Bitcoin's value get's high, then it will be a big opportunity that we will missed again.

it is also a good idea because it sells goods whose prices continue to decline and are also unused to be diverted to other places. as long as he can handle the funds and also has the right decision so he may do that, the most important thing is not to make mistakes if he has made a sale.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: December 16, 2019, 04:27:26 PM
It amazes me the number of men in crypto but women not so much.
When I talk to my girlfriend or female friends I feel like they don't care about it or I am crazy lol. I offered 3 of my female friends 10 dollars worth of Bitcoin via Coinbase to see if they will be interested.  I helped download the app, set up two-factor authentication and some other basic stuff. After a couple of months, they even don't recall how to access their wallets. I am very disappointed lol. Can someone explain to me why women are not interested in crypto?

You should be able to explain from the perspective of women in general.
women in general like things related to beauty.
try to explain about the beauty of the blockchain to be combined with cosmetics matters.

not all women are concerned with beauty, because there are also women who prefer to see technology or become a great thinker. I think women who think about beauty will find it difficult to explore bitcoin and might not care, but try to find women who are more concerned with innovation
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: December 15, 2019, 04:00:37 PM
Bitcoin can survive alone. Just like gold if the demand will be be going up then it there's no reason for it not to survive amd now. There are so many altcoins floating in the market we accept it or not that is how reality is going on. Bitcoin will still survive and can survive alone in the long run.

But how or what if no one would use it and then there are some good generation of money that are better than bitcoin? How do the bitcoin will survive alone?

Sometimes even if it is strong we can't say that it would be still here forever because there's a time that the coin would be ruin.
Well we can't say that but its possible, for now while no other created a bitcoin like ledger but who knows. Because of the advance technology. I still believe bitcoin is the best invention of digital currency that we are having right now. I might prepare in the future if other inventions comes along the market that might beat bitcoin.
for me bitcoin is the biggest invention in solving transaction problems. and although there is currently a fair amount of market competition between bitcoin and altcoin, the market is currently still siding with bitcoin and altcoin, which is currently still dependent on bitcoin price movements
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 15, 2019, 03:50:25 PM
One indicator considers bad altcoin because the price is not stable and tends to fall from the original price. even many altcoins are of no value. hence the perception that altcoin is born is bad.
The falling price of altcoins cannot be considered bad because I think it is just the effect of today's bad market that whales continue to control.
And my basis for knowing that an altcoins are bad for us is dead coin, pump and dump coins, scam coins.

THe price of altcoin will never be stable because people are buying altcoins for trades. And ofcourse if an altcoins moreover with low volume, the price would be so agile because many people are buying it just for sell it with higher price. So i think it's almost impossbile for altcoin to having a stable price except USDT and other similiar coins based on fiat currency

price movements are always changing in the market and also the level of rapid movement makes people sometimes trapped in losses. but keep in mind that not all altcoins are bad because there are still some of altcoins that can benefit and also help in terms of existing technology
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins with low difficulty? on: December 14, 2019, 04:47:13 PM
Easy or difficult, I would not suggest you to mine new coins. The problem with them is that most of the teams vanish once they get into an exchange, even a low volume one as they will get some users to pump and sell. Also the electricity is not in the favor of mining in most of the countries.
Even in my country it's no longer profitable, the hassle on finding right system, rigs and the cost of electricity is way too high. It will be like in some new ICO that offers bounties that are no longer paying. The cost of el2and Internet is not enough to still do it unless, electricity cost in you're country is cheap or you don't care enough to thos who pay your electricity bill.

Calculations that do not match income make people who do mining think again to continue mining, except for those who have large funds may still do mining. and when mining new coins, I think it's more risky
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold and Crypto on: December 14, 2019, 02:36:52 PM
I sometimes assume how bitcoin can be as sustainable as gold.

gold is an increasingly scarce commodity, but it can still be extracted and found, try to compare it with the total bitcoin that has been set at 21 million transparently, what will happen afterwards. Denominations and devaluations that make bitcoin more expensive will actually succeed, but the inherent costs will also follow unnaturally. As long as it's still decentralized, bitcoin will also experience endless manipulation, different from what happens to gold.
both have differences and I think it will be different in taking the road too, but in my view bitcoin has more potential and therefore I believe the fate of bitcoin will be better than gold.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: December 14, 2019, 01:16:57 PM
Bad market, trash coin, no innovations, lots of bad news, hackers, scammers, and investors do not care about the coin, I think making an altcoin in this year there is no season.
If the problem above can be solved to a minimum, I think 2020 will be able to be a good altcoin season.

Hope, if the thing you explained earlier cannot be completed in 2020 there will be no sweet dreams next year and it will get worse as time goes by. Although everyone hopes that this storm will end and see the eyes of the day shine with beautiful blue sky. Wink

you should not give up earlier because we can still make a profit in other ways while waiting for the market to grow again, you must survive and find another way to stay alive. altcoin will definitely grow, especially for altcoin which has potential so now we have to survive.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand risk in crypto on: December 14, 2019, 11:24:18 AM
To really understand it then it comes with experience that you can accumulate through time in your stay in the cryptoworld. Though sometimes we made mistakes but that is a part of the process for us to learn and be better. When you come to a point that you had acquired the ability to not panic when the price started to fall big time as high as the price it had risen which I think is one of the biggest risk that is existing in cryptoworld but not permanent as the market volume became massive so as well as the volatility would lessen.
If you commited mistakes, it is not mean that you are a failure. You commit mistakes because it makes us human, it only means that we need to improve something. It is part of the learning process where we can use the lesson that we got from our past mistakes to become a better trader or a better investor.
without experience, we will never learn what failure is. as we know, some of the richest people in the world often fail. how to understand the risk I think it will come in person and it will become an experience so that finally we can understand and minimize that risk.
so far what keeps people going is the mistakes he makes and he learns from the mistakes he experiences. so I think we will continue to grow when we find mistakes, most importantly when things go wrong we have to make corrections to ourselves
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: December 14, 2019, 11:15:43 AM
Some EU countries have pushed for obligations for cashless payments, and encouraged citizens not to use physical fiat. We can monitor the extent to which effectiveness will work, can be monitored if around 5% of users are seen using it for fiat-crypto activities and the percentage continues to increase, the government can detail the possibilities for payment instruments via crypto as projected in Ukraine.

adoption can also be measured by how much influence it has on mass use, and the methodology can be carried out through the transition from the use of fiat on the initial subject.

If countries are waging war on cash, it's a bad sign for crypto adoption there, because crypto and cash have very similar properties like privacy and decentralization, and they are the reason why governments are against cash. So, it's likely that they will restrict use of crypto in the same way they restrict cash, they just don't do it now because crypto is so small at the moment.
maybe at this time the knowledge of crypto not many people know, because so far crypto users are only a small part in this world. so we have to wait for the adoption of crypto for mass use, even if the regulation can be comprehensive throughout the country. so I think the initial spear is the regulation of crypto use in a country that can attract its citizens to find out more about crypto
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 13, 2019, 09:27:36 PM
I like OP's intention for helping those people who are new in crypto but I wonder if newbies reading this thread Cheesy Anyways the most important thing is that in every investment, you must be knowledgeable before investing your hard earned money whether in crypto or in real-life investment.
knowledge is indeed important in the investment field because we cannot produce in an easy way, because we are risking our funds. maybe some newbies don't care about this, especially for those who don't have people who can teach them.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are to be blame on: December 13, 2019, 09:19:51 PM
This is a cryptocurrency market, it is relatively free due to the fact that it is detailed. Any fool can create any coin on it, a wise guy can create his own scam ecosystem and deceive people.
It looks like a free market without regulation. If there were no scam, then regulators would not be needed, and yet they are now so stubbornly stepping on the heels of the crypto market.
Let's face it, Scam is bad, of course, however, as scam and the fraudulent schemes that people fall into, make us and the market develop.

we really have to prepare ourselves because there is no guarantee in crypto. fraud is free here so we really have to be able to distinguish which is the original project and a scammer, if we can't distinguish then our funds will be threatened
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is for you scam project and what is for you good project? on: December 13, 2019, 04:57:12 PM
Honestly, it is very difficult to determine whether is a scam project and legitimate or good project because i have encountered and participated a lot of projects, and most of them are scams due to good promises that attracts me that turns out to be a lie, that is why you should avoid projects that are too good to be true and suspected team members. While good projects the best way to determined them is by asking other people, especially experts because even a project has a good whitepaper and website it could be also a scam, that is why asking for a help could do.
in making the selection of the current project is indeed difficult to distinguish, and for me as long as they provide a seduction with the benefits that are said then I will avoid the project because it is suspicious. the best way now to look for a lot of references and friends is to get lots of input information and also do your own research to get used to it
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Speculation will drive the btc ride further as always on: December 13, 2019, 02:07:49 PM
Some says there is no use of btc and hence no demand of btc. So no one is buying.
Another type of people who wants to see btc sub 7k, so they can buy and make quick profit.
But data shows btc is being traded from localbitcoins and dark market widely. In the end, speculation and sentiment will drive the btc ride. On May 2020, btc may exceed 40k.or go sub 6k. Lets wait and ride the btc coaster.
there is really a chance that bitcoin price will increase in May 2020 due to halving
there will be a price correction because the rewards will decrease in half the price will match the supply and demand.
this is not baseless speculation but a big fact about bitcoin.

but what you said hasn't happened yet and I think it's not a fact but it's just speculation. and we have to wait for this time to prove the speculation can only be said a fact. and to this day it is still said to be just research
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every tiny piece of Bitcoin is worth it! on: December 13, 2019, 08:13:47 AM
yeah thats why we must accumulate even smaller amount time after time.

what i did is my payments from the campaigns that paying bitcoin is mostly saved, some part use for gambling and others are for emergencies but i make sure that little amount weekly will remain as holding.and if lucky in gambling?i added other altcoins as well (of course with btcoin each time)
good financial management, you do the distribution of funds on every bitcoin earned. I also do that because the biggest control is in myself. although we get a small part of bitcoin but for now at a high price, the price is more valuable
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of the current status of Bitcoin? on: December 11, 2019, 03:25:51 PM
Rather than talking about the price, as an overall insight about bitcoin, Bitcoin community is continuously growing every year. A lot issues and problems Bitcoin had faces through the years but it still remains the same– even stronger actually... We are slowly by slowly moving forward to mass adoption. It will take quite a lot of time, but as long as we keep on believing in Bitcoin, they can't stop its growth.
bitcoin development from year to year in my opinion continues to increase, now many countries have begun to talk about it plus the adoption of blockchain technology which is currently starting to be used, for example in France they plan to adopt this technology for learning. so I think bitcoin will continue to grow with the technology it has
