1  Other / Off-topic / Re: Shall we change the name of god? on: September 05, 2019, 08:15:12 PM
There is multiple gods (Good guy) but only one satan (bad guy).
Should we then change the name of the different gods to GOOD and rename satan BAD?
Therefore, we know its a battle of good between bad. lol
You have a point there. we have many gods and all of them trying to claim good and some of them are completely working for the satan. Remember satan is the god of this world according to the Bible. Therefore, Satan is also a god and it rules in the heart of those men that are following worldly things. Good and bad are the same the different is how human beings used them!
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are about to hit 8K and below...soon (see charts) on: September 05, 2019, 07:09:05 PM
That's a clear descending triangle and its primarily a bearish pattern

Yeah but it's not the most reliable bearish pattern. I won't be surprised if the descending trend line gets broken.

There was a small selloff after tagging the trend line yesterday, but we're still hovering right below it. Bears haven't been convincing, and the mystery trader on Coinbase who market buys into dump attempts was active earlier today:

Maybe the "mystery trader" may come back tomorrow and we would see what he will do to the market! Both the bear and the bull look weak and i am not seeing bitcoin fall to $8000 soonest. After the rejection from $10850 yesterday bitcoin only lose around 0.30% and the bear has not be able to bring it down much.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: 2D Bitcoin Battle Royale. Play to win Bitcoin - BitShowdown.io on: September 05, 2019, 06:31:01 PM

We have just launched a new free to play 2d Battle Royale game.

You win Bitcoin for killing other players or lasting until the end of the game.

Try it now here https://bitshowdown.io

If you have any questions or suggestions let us know.
I don't know how much you have to spend on the players but 1 satochi for winning the game is not motivating at all! I should rather wish to play the game for free instead of struggling to win and the reward is just 1 satoshi. Maybe you should look into the rewards for the players as this is what will draw players to your sites.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: not a rule! but it's about your common sense to avoid scam projects on: September 05, 2019, 06:10:10 PM
I mean no matter what, never spend more money than you can afford to lose.
It is not even a good thing to lose what we have and since we must invest I have decided not to buy coin during Ico because of the past loses I have incurred. If I want to invest into any project I allow the market, that is the forces of demand and supply to determine the price in the exchange and if it is ok I invest and that has helped me for some time now.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 05, 2019, 05:39:56 PM
Ever since I've got into cryptocurrency, I've had several experiences on the  prices on some of my holdings achieved ATH's in a matter of months alone especially on the 2017 bull market and was thankful I didn't sold out early when I got them. Having had a positive feeling about it, I became reluctant to sell some of these cryptos even at the height of its price thinking that I may gain more from them in the future and also believing that this projects have very good fundamentals and does have a room for growth!

Then at the beginning on the 1st quarter of 2018 (which started the period for bearish market), crypto prices nosedived sharply and in a matter of weeks my portfolio begun to shrunk and was reduced significantly but then again I was overpowered by my belief that crypto will have an eventual rebound in which I was wrong! Over a period of short time, I was forced to sell those cryptocurrencies at a significantly lower price and accepted my loss which led me to believe that hodling is indeed a form of gambling and thus has a risk / reward factors associated with it.

Until now, I don't have any regrets but only have lessons learned from this experiences and will remain having a positive outlook on cryptosphere because I know gambling will let us "win some and also lose some".  Smiley

I know some of you had already been on the same kind of experience just like me. Smiley
In the area of risk I do agree with you that holding some coins is a form of gambling. I have been trading and hold since 2016. Both are very risky but remember that life itself is a risky thing and gambling! If some people know that going out they are going to die they will not go out that day but people go out daily with the hope that they will be back home safe. That is how buying and hold cryptocurrency is. It is not fully safe!.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Earnings 2 x very likely by buying this coin on: September 05, 2019, 01:11:21 PM
The IOP currency is traded on Bittrex for the price of $ 0.024. The 1st October on LATOKEN the IOP team will do an IEO in which they will be sold Hydra tokens starting from $ 0.056. The IOP-HYDRA swap will be 1.1. So buying IOP now at $ 0.024 you will get HYDRA tokens of IEO value of $ 0.056 with a possible 200% gain ......
I take no responsibility, consider risks and dangers ... this is a revenue opportunity , but you have to assess the risk yourself.
IEO could be a failure so you could lose your money ... but if it is good, it will be easy
Thank you for sharing this with us! I seem to reason along with you but my fear is almost the same thing you have posted. What if the IEO fail and people dumping their holding in a way that is much fast than you can take selling decision as it has happened with other IEO in the past?
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie looking for some strategic advice on: September 05, 2019, 09:46:50 AM
According to statistics, only 5 percent of all new traders remain in the market and receive good income for their activities, while all the rest remain in the red almost the entire first year.  So you need to first understand that the trader will not be able to quickly enter the market, develop a lot and leave the battlefield in the pros.
It is not just 5% of the new traders that remains in profits but according to research "5% of the traders make profits from the loses $95 make" it is a risky market and you should trade after you are very sure that you will reduce risk and minimize loss from the beginning before you start making profits.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Read Crypto Charts on: September 05, 2019, 07:07:02 AM
It's really easy-to-understand guides and makes it easier for newcomers to find inspiration and feel the job.
I used to be a very pessimistic person about my trading ability as well as my investment. But after reading the article, it seems that I thought about becoming a professional trader in the future. Thank you so much, dude. Wink
It is the professionals that has advantage over others in this market and it is unwise to start trading without spending quality time to learn and understand how technical indicators works. Many people that still understand technical indicators still lose because of lack of patience and greediness and we are to understand that what matter most in trading is our emotions.
9  Economy / Services / Re: Betting Arbitrage on: September 05, 2019, 06:21:15 AM
Each of these signals allows you to make a few % return on your investment with no risk.
No risk? This word doesnt exist or doesnt fit out.
As far as it is a way of making money, it much involved risk. There is “no risk” ways in gambling. If you are investing in bankrolling you are still taking risk as it is still very much possible to lose your money. I have decided never to subscribe to any of these too good to be true signal providers as it always end with story that it is not good to hear.
10  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbet a Russian scam! Becarefull on: September 05, 2019, 05:57:22 AM
If I see from your conversation with the 1xbet team, it was not cheated from the 1xbet gambling site,

You yourself every game runs out of funds, I think this gambling site is not suitable for you, always losing never wins.

My advice, try to switch to another gambling site: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0
maybe, your destiny may change.
Does Gambling sites determine our luck? As gambling is purely game of luck. Gambling is a way of investing for profits and to me it has nothing to alter the destiny of a man.
Op before you accuse any gambling sites it is good you do your research very well before bringing your accusations in public places like this.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use crypto? on: September 04, 2019, 09:30:50 AM
Currently, I used crypto as a store of values and completely for investment purpose. I don't think that we have getting to that level when we would be using bitcoin as a mode of payment for goods and services because of volatility! I am currently holding for profits. I also like to see in future that we began to used Bitcoin for transactions purpose and governments should help to adopt it into our financial system.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Has Many Gambling Supporters (State Your Opinion) on: September 04, 2019, 09:06:09 AM
Maybe because of were, I came from, soccer is the most support in gambling. I don't even gamble or bet in another sport but football and that is because I hardly support other sport or watch them. The most popular sport is football and it is expected that betting companies will take advantage of its popularity to get in gamblers.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Close to BIG Breakout. Will it be $7K or $13K? on: September 04, 2019, 06:07:06 AM
Op, were do you get all this your analysis from because you opened this thread yesterday when bitcoin has already moved over $10,600 and you were analyzing $9000. Maybe you make this analysis about three days ago and you just post it yesterday without checking what has happened again. The breakout at $9,750 at on Monday was in favor of bull and not bear.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Largest religion in 2050? on: September 04, 2019, 05:44:01 AM
What about bitcoin religion?  Wink
Bitcoin is not a religion but a currency and it will be better for it to be a currency than a religion as religion is associated with wars, killing and wickness. Bitcoin is for equality and giving of power to the people. I will not like bitcoin to be associated with anything like religion as it is going to bring hate to the whole thing.
15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex close withdrawals more than 7 months without any reason. 100+ btc on: September 04, 2019, 05:11:15 AM
This is very sad if what you said is true since you have not provide any evidence of what has happened. Like someone said “you will have more support if you can give screenshots of the transactions” bittrex is a reputable exchange that has been with us for long and it is one of the trusted exchanges and that is why people keep using it.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell now at 9.5K or use emergency cash? on: September 03, 2019, 07:05:55 PM
My car broke down and my mechanic said the piston rings are broken. I am in Europe and workmanship is expensive. I am thinking about selling some BTC for repairs and then another car. A friend of mine said he will sell his car to me for bitcoin. This is great and shows adoption is almost here.
I am pretty sure that if I sell, the price will increase, but I definitely need the car for groceries and other trips such as work, fun, etc. Taking the bus here is simply torture.
I could keep the repaired car but this is the second time it is giving me this error, breaking piston rings and this time I need trigger chain replacement, and other repairs as well.

My wife just told me we need to purchase book sets for both our kids. They are in private school and you need to purchase all the books and the experiment sets and all these cost good money.

I never sold a single Satoshi I always bought. I am thinking maybe it is time to start selling some. Maybe I can sell some eth instead.
Everyone can buy and HODL, but when you need money, you may need to sell even though the price is cheap. I have some emergency reserves but I honestly don’t want to dip into that, even though my instinct is on using the emergency cash and then replacing it as soon as humanly possible. But then, if everyone holds bitcoin and nobody spends it, how is it gonna be adopted?

What do you think? Use bitcoin or keep holding and use emergency money?

If you have an emergency cash it is better you should used it as I cannot trade bitcoin for anything now except health! Car or whatever is not good enough to be compared to the benefit one will drive from hold. Why should you sell your bitcoin for fun or repair your car were as you can hold the same bitcoin and buy a new car in some few months to come.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: time to change BTC to ETH? on: September 03, 2019, 06:10:32 PM
Current ETH price is $176. You can exchange bitcoin to ethereum instantly at Coinswitch by comparing the prices across exchanges and exchange at the best rate.
That is a very easy way of exchanging ethereum for bitcoin. I am just seeing this coinswwitch for the first time and it might make flipping easier especially if one wants to take quick trading decisions this might help. However, bitcoin is gaining more than every other coins now and I will not advise any body to flip bitcoin to any coins now.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: September 03, 2019, 05:00:13 PM
i have got around $1500 to invest in coins which coins do you guys suggest to invest in for quick money ? a year ago I have invested in STRAT and Sia and I lost big amounts and regret investing in those coins.

I'm thinking of investing $1k into BTC as its low risk but I would like to risk the the other $500 with a coin that I can make quick money with it
There is nothing like quick money now because investing into cryptocurrency is risky and the probability that your investments is going to appreciate in pricing might not be there. It is better to buy bitcoin or ethereum and earn some profits as there grow time to time as majority of the altcoins are in bad conditions now.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 03, 2019, 04:23:11 PM
Martingale strategy is a part way to lose money in gambling and I am an example of that. I lose in dice playing using martingale strategy in July and I have not recovered from the loses up till now. It is something that doesn’t work and I do depend on my luck since I lost huge in that. No strategy work! Only luck work in gambling.

I don't know what is going to happen in future but I prefer to keep all my portfolio in bitcoin now than spreading on the altcoin. I have see my investment in profitable zone since the beginning of this year because I decided to do that since last year end when almost all the coins you listed above went below 200ma and uphill now there could not recover. I will began to look into altcoin market again when I started to see recovering above 200 moving average.
