1421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin to buy? on: December 31, 2019, 08:45:15 AM
I recently purchased bitcoin, it was the most I have ever put into a cryptocurrency.
This is going to be a long term buy, This was taken out of stock money,
Now that I have done this I feel more excited about
where bitcoin is headed than  I do about stocks. Now I feel like I should take more out of
Stocks, Feel there’s going to be more return this way. Thoughts on this am I getting carried away

it was a good decision because you are now planning to invest in two different projects with shares and bitcoin, if I were in your position, I would of course take 60% of the stock of money to buy bitcoin because investing in bitcoin is very different compared to investing in gold or stocks because the price of bitcoin fluctuates which makes it possible to make a profit, so I think bitcoin is good for use as a protector of wealth or wealth enhancer.
1422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: Who is the 2019 Bitcoin Drama Queen on: December 31, 2019, 06:15:54 AM
3. Craig Wright - ( Faketoshi ftw!. He have lost dozen of trials in the courts and now he must find 1 million bitcoin to pay his debts... an epic fail story Tongue)

I also chose craig wright as the queen of the 2019 bitcoin drama because in my opinion craig wright often said nonsense without carrying strong evidence, so far if we look at the evidence provided by Wright in public it cannot prove anything, and the most ridiculous thing to do by craig Wright is he stole $ 5 billion bitcoin from his former business partner.
1423  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question for me and others? on: December 30, 2019, 12:43:47 PM
I am newbie here I wand to work for cryptocurrencies and learn it knowledge. Anyone tell me if I post some useful information of cryptocurrency on bitcointalk topics. The repliers can get merit for this work. I made a post today and two replies but no one get me the only one merit.
Can I ask in every post for getting some merits from people at the end of the post line?

if you want to get service in this forum, the most important thing for you is to have extensive experience or insight about cryptocurrency and then you have to make a good post that can inform the forum community or you can also create a thread like giving tips related to cryptocurrency.
1424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has gone up the past week. on: December 30, 2019, 10:37:39 AM
It has gone up around $800, do you think they could run it up and then I would come down before January 1 before the new year. Or they will not come in to play?  I’m waiting for some money to clear to buy some. And I don’t know right now is the best time to buy

these few days if we see bitcoin prices continue to rise slowly and I am very sure that bitcoin prices will not go down again until January 1, and I also hope that at the start of the new year bitcoin prices will continue to rise so that some of us can enjoy their holidays in peace without have to think about bitcoin prices that are not as stable as last month.
1425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How an interviewer made Craig Wright sweat about the question if he's Satoshi! on: December 30, 2019, 07:09:05 AM
Interviewer puts Craig Wright in trouble with a tricky question. Check it out yourself  Wink

(click on the picture to be redirected to the youtube video)

What is your opinion on Craig Wright, is he truly Satoshi Nakamoto or part of it?

I think so far no one really believes that Craigs Wright is the creator of Bitcoin or Satoshi Nakamoto and for every word he has always been unable to prove those words clearly and I am very confident now that almost everyone is fed up with his bullshit, maybe for other times it's better for us not to discuss the thread about craig wright anymore because in my opinion it's a silly drama.
1426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government Taxing Bitcoin? Here's the Answer on: December 30, 2019, 03:32:45 AM
the government in my country has made it clear that users of cryptocurrency or bitcoin are required to report ownership or profits we get through bitcoin investments, so they will collect annual tax on us, but they do not take tax specifically into our bitcoin ownership but rather from revenue between selling prices and the purchase price which is the object of taxation.
1427  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s your expectation on 2020 Halving year?! on: December 29, 2019, 12:32:08 PM
I personally always hope in the coming year that the price of bitcoin will rise to a high level compared to current prices, so that investors and the bitcoin community will smile again at the start of the new year.
and I also hope that in 2020 the government will allow people in this country to adopt cryptocurrency or bitcoin as a transaction tool to facilitate the community.
1428  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Bitcoin Halving will drive the price down... on: December 29, 2019, 08:41:49 AM
learn from the history of halving bitcoin that had happened before, the cycle could be almost the same, the price will go down for a moment after that slowly rising continuously.

halving bitcoin in 2020 will come of course this is very taken into account when the market will react to prices, I think bitcoin will experience the same price spike as last year which has happened especially now some bitcoin charts show that bitcoin may fall a few days after being reduced half, and according to investors or bitcoin miners, they estimate that digital assets will experience half every four years.
1429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any specific video channel for cryptocurrencies same like bitcointalk? on: December 29, 2019, 08:02:48 AM
as we see discussed over here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5212947.0

the youtube thing was apparently an error. that thread also high lights D.tube or something like that as an alternative. i've never heard of it myself, but perhaps its what you're looking for.

If YouTube really bans videos about cryptocurrency, I am sure that all crtypto communities will switch to other channels like the DTube you mentioned or there will be someone creating a platform similar to YouTube to facilitate crypto users if they want to learn or want to understand about cryptocurrency because today if we see that most people they learn cryptocurrency through YouTube channels or the like.
1430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worsening Lebanese Crisis May Spark Bitcoin Adoption on: December 29, 2019, 05:29:47 AM
The middle eastern nation of Lebanon has been suffering its worst civil and economic crisis since its civil war in the mid-1970s. With no end in sight, the desperate yet resourceful population may start to explore Bitcoin as a weapon against the corrupt political and banking system.

BeInCrypto first reported on the civil unrest in Lebanon in October. Demonstrators took to the streets to voice their objections to a planned tax hike on tobacco, fuel, and telecom tariffs. As is often the case, this quickly morphed into a general movement against political and financial corruption.

Just like Venezuela, it looks like Lebanon might be the next to start adopting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Despite that Venezuela is on a crisis, they already made their move in using Bitcoin for various cases. Now that Lebanon is facing crisis and may worse in months to come, it’s time for them to accept and embrace Bitcoin with open arms.

What do you think about this latest situation in Lebanon? Do you honestly think that Bitcoin would really save them from their ongoing crisis?

as far as we have seen, of course bitcoin or other cryptocurrency will be a solution for countries experiencing economic crisis because they can make cryptocurrency as an alternative currency, and it is very possible if the Lebanese state adopts cryptocurrency it really helps them to fight the political system or corruption due to cryptocurrency cannot be controlled by the government or by a central organization.
1431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why YouTube Bans Bitcoin &Crypto Videos? on: December 27, 2019, 01:44:50 PM
Hello Community; as you know from the last 3 days the social media is full of this topic. What’s your opinion on it? What’s the main reason behind it?

According to me; what’s are the possibilities-
1)   Crypto is being purge by Youtube.
2)   Attract by some kind of group intentionally.
3)   Attract from Scam Coins (Since good YouTubers telling the true story).
4)   Wrong YouTube Algorithm.
5)   Lots of Fake ICO, Crypto Exchange related videos on YouTube.

Guys, till now I am confused but I added all of my probabilities. End of the day, I am scared. Because, I have learned so many things by watching YouTube crypto videos. I can’t imagine a single day without watching my favorite’s cannel.

Whatever, now really want to know all of your opinion on this issue.

YouTube might assume that content about cryptocurrency can be detrimental to people because so far if we see a lot of scams that we encounter in the crypto project, but you don't need to worry because today YouTube has stated that they have recovered some of the deleted videos in the last few days.
1432  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs ETH Vs XRP Vs LTC which one will you invest and why in 2020? on: December 27, 2019, 01:03:31 PM
Do you also agree with the choice?

yes that seems like a good choice.
Bitcoin is of course the only coin that almost everyone is interested in investing because they are very confident that bitcoin can benefit them mainly because bitcoin is limited so there is a possibility that bitcoin will be of very high value in the future, but i think ethereum is also a good coin to invest after bitcoin and for now ETH is ranked 2 out of 1,519 coins circulating in the crypto market.
1433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 2019, Students Demanded Blockchain Education. In 2020, It’s Coming on: December 27, 2019, 07:36:15 AM
This post is part of CoinDesk's 2019 Year in Review, a collection of 100 op-eds, interviews and takes on the state of blockchain and the world. Galen Danziger is the chief technology officer at the MouseBelt Blockchain Accelerator.

https://www.coindesk.com/in-2019-students-demanded-blockchain-education-in-2020-its-coming

for me if this program is implemented in all universities, of course it will greatly affect the world that is very possible because every industry or company centered around the world will use blockchain technology in it even before that some governments also say that blockchain technology is good for use in several industry or to be understood.
1434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Make Money With Bitcoin? on: December 27, 2019, 03:29:52 AM
3- you tell me.

keep in mind that making money with bitcoin is not as easy as expected because if we want to do business with bitcoin, of course we must have a lot of knowledge and patience, but I personally for now only trade and invest with altcoin like with ETH because I don't have capital and enough knowledge to invest with bitcoin and I hope in the future I will get a large profit from trading ETH so that I can buy bitcoin.
1435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, then fiat is a get poor slow scheme on: December 25, 2019, 12:02:18 PM
Fiat will be replaced by crypto currency but i dont think it will be bitcoin. Government want to control everything and even fiat money , bitcoin cant control by the governement so  they will create thier own and will use blockchain technology to make a new way of payment before fiat currency fall.

So far I have not thought that in the future paper currencies will fall even though bitcoin will be the main means of payment for the public, and now if we look at some governments have planned to make their own coins like the government in China but I think they did not do it to avoid fall of paper currency but only to facilitate the public when making transactions.
1436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy holidays to all bitcointalk members.Check out my goofy bitcoin artwork. :) on: December 25, 2019, 09:32:33 AM
Happy holidays to all Bitcointalk members. Here's my silly bitcoin artwork.

I don't think this is art because basically art is the beauty of our own work, but we in this forum certainly respect each other for what you produce.

at the end of this year it's a bit sad for me because my family and I can only rest in this country because the cost is not enough to travel abroad, especially the price of bitcoin is currently declining which makes it impossible for us to travel abroad, but so far I am still grateful.
1437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Your Privacy to ₿itcoin? on: December 25, 2019, 08:22:47 AM
Would you be willing to trade your location, name, and any other private and personal details over BTCitcoin? Yes? No? Why?
I know many of us have already submitted countless documents to various cryptocurrency exchanges just to pass their KYC process and comply with AML but how far would someone be willing to give up just to get a part of that precious BTCitcoin?

maybe in the future we will see all crypto exchanges will require us to commit KYC or AML even today some of their governments also ask local crypto users to do KYC on the grounds to avoid money laundering or other crimes. and now I have also done KYC on a number of local exchanges just because I am sure that local exchanges will maintain my privacy well and will not be misused.
1438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies: A (Crazy) Decade in Review on: December 19, 2019, 12:13:03 PM
Cryptocurrencies: A (Crazy) Decade in Review

The Bitcoin whitepaper was published by Satoshi Nakamoto on October 31, 2008. The following decade brought the growth of an entirely new industry and it’s been a wild ride filled with wealth, sorrow, and drama. Flash crashes, hacks involving hundreds of millions of dollars, illegal online marketplaces for drugs and weapons, all of it has led the massive growing industry we now know. As we near the end of the decade in 2020, let’s take a look back at where crypto started and its journey to where it is today.

This of course we can say is the beginning of the world of crypto and I think in the coming decades we will really see real crypto when mass adoption takes place around the world which will be the main payment for everyone, and it is very possible when that happens then the price bitcoin will go back up very high.
1439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You selling to buy Xmas gifts or using bitcoins to buy Xmas gifts? on: December 19, 2019, 07:52:44 AM
So, watching the price of Bitcoin going down, made me think of reasons why this might be happening now.  Roll Eyes  I saw the news of the Chinese

scam and the coins being liquidated, but that sounds like a lame excuse for the price going down. A better reason might be that people are selling

coins or using coins to buy Xmas gifts. Let's be honest, it is that time of the year and people are going on holiday, so they need to dive into their

Bitcoin hoard to pay for that and also some Xmas gifts.  Huh

Are you using your coins to buy Xmas gifts and to pay for your holiday expenses?

indeed that might be true because at the end of the year some people will sell bitcoin or other coins to buy gifts for their families or go on holiday abroad because so far we have seen the decline in bitcoin prices always at the end of the year like last year.
Honestly for the end of this year I will not sell my coins to buy gifts because the current coin price is less stable and it is better for me to buy a gift using only cash.
1440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 19, 2019, 06:40:18 AM
Bitcoin is a total worthless coin that is controlled by chinese miners that hate you.

Bitcoin cant do anything that ethereum can do much better.

It seems like now you are frustrated with the market price so you write in this thread that bitcoin is a worthless coin and is controlled by Chinese miners, but I think this is just your bullshit, because as far as we know nobody can control bitcoin at any time and you also say that bitcoin cannot do anything like ethereum, this is of course I totally disagree with you because from year to year if we see that all altcoin or ethereum is very dependent on bitcoin if bitcoin prices go up then all altcoin prices will also go up or vice versa.
