1541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What companies create portable cryptocurrency wallets? on: November 07, 2019, 02:22:26 PM
Wow. I've got some really interesting replies from this thread. Thanks to all the contributors so far. I have a client who's interested in developing a cryptocurrency, I'll get this info across to him ASAP.

of course we here always provide input to people who need a little experience which is an obligation for us on this forum, and I think you already understand the answers to your questions beforehand and a little bit I advise you to be very careful about using portable wallets like trezo and ledgers or something like that if you want to buy it, you have to go directly to their official site don't go through other people to make it safer.
1542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Deleting wallet software for more security? on: November 07, 2019, 01:41:11 PM
Hi, I'm using the blockstream green wallet on Android. I've written down my seed phrase and keep it safe and secure. Can I now uninstall/delete my green wallet app? to be less vulnerable to theft/hacking.

I can still receive but not spent this way right? Should I create a couple of addresses beforehand?

And if I want to spent/exchange, I just download green wallet app again and use the seed phrase to recover my wallet?

Can anyone confirm this is all correct?

Thank you

what you are doing right now is all true and of course very useful for your own security. I think you are one of those people who always think about security even though it is a small thing unlike some people today that we see they don't care about their safety, they always underestimate the little things like that and you should always secure Google your Android account so that nothing enters your device.
1543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Good ICO Review Sites on: November 07, 2019, 12:30:36 PM
Hello guys !
I was just looking around and theres so many garbage repost websites outthere about different ICOs.  I wanted to know if theres one that you know doesn't present every idea as great. A very critical good Review site that tends to get it right you know. anyway thanks appreciate your input.

in the last few years I was less interested in the ICO project that was launched because some of their projects now only provide false hopes that ultimately make us disappointed and disadvantaged like the previous ICO project, usually I used to look for information about good ico in the telegram management group that they always give us a great ico project and there are lots of websites like that that you can visit.
1544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Possible To Mine Bitcoin with Supercomputer? on: November 07, 2019, 10:43:54 AM
These Russians were jailed for attempting to mine bitcoin at a nuclear facility. Would they really have gotten coins mining with a supercomputer? https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/russian-nuclear-engineer-jailed-for-mining-bitcoin-at-work/

it is a silly thing done by workers in nuclear companies in Russia, now it is not strange if we hear of mining bitcoin with super computers. Some people today are using computers to mine bitcoin, maybe they have not been able to buy sophisticated mining equipment that quite expensive I think if we mine bitcoin with a computer it will take a very long time because the computer doesn't have fast power.
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 190 Indian Banks Raided in Fraud Crackdown – Can Bitcoin Be an Alternative? on: November 07, 2019, 09:27:31 AM

India’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has performed a targeted raid on about 170 of the country’s banking locations in an attempt to crack down on fraud, which is reportedly rife in the banking sector. This once again leads to thoughts on how Bitcoin could be a financial alternative that avoids this – especially in a country which is anti-cryptocurrency.

It is reported that the fraud cases, of which there are 42 ongoing, amount to nearly $1 billion. As many as 1,000 CBI officers knocked on doors of the accused to collect evidence and question them across 16 states and at 15 nationalized banks.

With banking fraud rife in the country, one way in which a population could fight back would be to look towards decentralized cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. However, India is one country that has taken a rather hardline stance towards the integration of cryptocurrencies leaving citizens with minimal options or alternatives.

Read more about the news here

I remembered about Tim Draper calling the Indian government "pathetic" and "corrupt". The Indian government has considered a ban on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. There's even a proposal that if an Indian resident or citizen who are buying, holding or getting involved in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be put to jail.

Now that 190 banks from India are being raided for fraud crackdown, do you honestly think that this will open the door for Bitcoin once again in the Indian market? For me, I'm not sure yet and may take time before it really happens. Let me know about your opinions and thoughts on this one guys, especially crypto enthusiasts from India.

Cheers!

this is certainly very sad for the people of India with such incidents especially if they cannot make bitcoin or other cryptocurrency an alternative currency for a while in this chaos, maybe at this time the only way that can be done by the Indian state is by gathering their communities to protest the government of their country to lift the cryptocurrency ban in India so that they cannot be manipulated financially by corruptors.
1546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 07, 2019, 08:25:05 AM
One day, I think to myself about how to spreads bitcoin to other people. After I create threads https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191717.0, I see many of us don't try or don't have time to come into a gathering or make a meetup. So how we can introduce bitcoin to local people in our country if we are not trying to tells them about bitcoin? I know that will related to the regulations in every countries but we can introduce to our close friend so they will spread it into their closest friends too.

And if this is succeed, I think cryptocurrency will grow step by step. I know we can spread bitcoin online, but that doesn't mean all people in your country are aware of bitcoin. How they can know bitcoin if they never use the internet to search the news while we can tell them about bitcoin and another coin by offline.

in fact I personally often explain to my close friends related to bitcoin and I also invited some of them to adopt bitcoin and other cryptocurrency together to make it easier and I already said that bitcoin will give us an advantage in the future, but unfortunately only some of them who want to join me to learn about bitcoin.
1547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On Jorg Molt on: November 07, 2019, 07:25:05 AM
Jorg Molt

Just recently there has been discussion about
this guy named jorg molt who claims to be a co creator to Bitcoin
he was able to get on an interview with this one content creator

and show and speak up about his claims

your thoughts?
do you think he could be the real deal? or not?
many questions on this guy and situation

https://youtu.be/IVaPrXFYmHM

love to hear your feedback

I think that making threads like this is not useful for us because threads on fake satoshi are found almost every day in this forum, but to be honest I am disgusted by the talk of someone who claims to be satoshi because I think they are doing something like this just to advance their own projects so people are more interested in seeing their projects.
1548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How To make a Private Transaction on: November 07, 2019, 06:35:43 AM
What elements must one do I do a totally private crypto transaction?

Such as hide the IP address. Make sure Google doesn't follow. Make sure no trace is done.

What would be the main steps to follow to create a fully private transactions?

basically bitcoin is a digital currency that stands in blockchain technology that has transparent and public property to store our bitcoin transaction history, so i suggest to hide the privacy of your bitcoin transactions, you should use a bitcoin mixer because this service is to mix your bitcoin with coins random and mixer anonymize your transactions so your transactions cannot be tracked by the organization.
1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Concerns You Have For Bitcoin on: November 07, 2019, 05:52:05 AM
what are 3 concerns you have for Bitcoin?

this can be for the aspect of daily use?
if mass adoption would happen?

would it solve inflation?

etc. like to hear your thought?

I am very worried if the price of bitcoin drops dramatically not as we want it might be very difficult for us to trade with bitcoin, because now I don't think bitcoin can be used as a daily necessity but this will happen in the future, it might be good for adoption Bulk bitcoin will happen because now we know that many people have seen bitcoin to adopt it slowly.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Like An Orphan on: November 07, 2019, 04:41:22 AM
Why don't we have people doing this for btc adoption. This would encourage newbies like us. https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/roger-ver-gives-away-free-bitcoin-cash-believes-it-would-be-worth-5000-in-future/

So far, we can say that BCH coins have almost no value anymore and trading volume has decreased significantly compared to a few years ago, maybe Roger Ver gave a big prize to those who followed his social media. I think this is a good idea for Roger Ver by holding a prize event like this to get people to adopt shitcoin again.
1551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Will not Ban Bitcoin Mining! on: November 06, 2019, 02:49:22 PM

Should you have any questions and comments about this, kindly spread the word to the comments below.

in a few months ago China was one of the countries that hated bitcoin so their megara government had passed a law on bitcoin bans, their president only supported blockchain technology because of the reason they wanted to launch their own digital currency based on blockchain technology and now why they lift the ban they have issued, I doubt about this kind of news.
1552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US-Japan cryptocurrency trade volume 1-2-3 in the world on: November 06, 2019, 02:00:40 PM
US-Japan-Korea cryptocurrency trade volume 1-2-3 in the world

Coin Telegraph reported on the 1st (local time) that the trading volume of the US, Japan and Korea Cryptocurrency Exchange is ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the world. According to The Block, a cryptocurrency market research firm, the volume of major cryptocurrency exchanges in the world as of the first half of 2019 showed that the United States (24.5%), Japan (10%), Korea (6.5%), and Indonesia (4.5%). Investigated. In terms of interest by population, Singapore, Korea, and Switzerland were in order. The report said, “The top five countries account for half of the total trade volume.” Cryptocurrency is traded more in rich countries like fiat currency. I was surprised to see this thread because there is an Indonesian country here that competes with four other developed countries because I know that Indonesia is one of the countries with the lowest exchange rates of their paper currencies compared to the currencies of the four countries you mentioned. But why does Indonesia have a high volume of cryptocurrency trade, is this possible because their country's government strongly supports digital currencies in their country.
1553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know any online bitcoin wallet that gives you a debit card? on: November 06, 2019, 01:27:11 PM
Hello, years ago I think I watched on Youtube a video of an Enterprise that give you a debit card to withdraw cash and pay online service in internet. Similar like Payoneer but in this case you can withdraw your money with your bitcoins funds.
Is there any service that works now in 3rd world countries? (I am in South america) Many thanks!

in times of technological development like now many companies have launched cryptocurrency debit cards to make it easier for us to conduct transactions such as one of the Bitpay and Wirek companies, both of these companies are very popular nowadays and many people have used debit cards and bitpay is one of the companies in North America whereas Wirex cryptocurrency debit card based in london.
1554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Crypto Transactions Traceable? on: November 06, 2019, 12:40:58 PM
I’m wondering are there ways to trace Crypto transactions like tracing an IP of someone when doing online transactions if so what are ways to protect yourself from getting traced. I’m rather uninformed on the subject and I would like to get up to speed on the current happenings right now.

although many people consider bitcoin to be an anonymous payment network, bitcoin is also a public transparent payment network that all transactions can be tracked and also uses the p2p network, so I advise you to be very careful when you want to send or receive bitcoin through your wallet and protect privacy You are as safe as possible.
1555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Manipulation Pushing the price Further Low on: November 06, 2019, 09:52:05 AM
Bitcoin price fluctuations this week has thrown light on the trading of Bitcoin, as BTC trading is supposed to be manipulated by traders. The media, including the famous analyst Willy Woo who pointed to the trend of market manipulation in the midst of deep studies.

Source: https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/bitcoin-price-analysis-traders-manipulating-bitcoins-market/

We cannot blame them for traders who manipulate market prices up and down because their traders have a slight profit, we actually don't know for sure now what caused bitcoin prices to fluctuate this week even though in your article saying something like that caused a market decline but I can't take guidance from the news because there is no clear evidence.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Living Off-Grid With Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2019, 09:07:08 AM
Is it possible/an advantage to live off-grid with bitcoin?

What I mean by this is living on a rural property, perhaps running a full-node, completely independent from the existing fiat financial system. We want to remove our dependency of the banks and corrupt political establishment entirely.

Obviously, you would need electricity and a computer to run a node and connect to the network. Perhaps bitcoin is not well suited for rural lifestyle or off-grid?

maybe a statement like this is very difficult for those who live in rural areas to achieve cryptocurrency especially because most people who live there may be some of them do not know much about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency because those who live in residential areas are not the same as us who live in urban areas easily have what we want and it's easy to adopt cryptocurrency.
1557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 18,000,000 bitcoins have been mined! on: November 06, 2019, 07:41:44 AM
The 18 millionth bitcoin has been mined so only 3 million left to go! Wink
https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2019/10/19/satoshi-nakaboto-18-million-of-the-21-million-bitcoins-have-now-been-mined
Anthony pompliano posted on twitter when it happened.
https://twitter.com/APompliano/status/1185346573779243008
This is a milestone so do you agree this will pump up the price as we are getting closer to the end of our king of all cryptocurrency blocks being solved? Undecided

maybe I agree with your opinion recently we heard that in Russia will increase the hashrate of their bitcoin mining and some other countries have opened mining companies, maybe we can say that Bitcoin currently does not have more inventory and with such events hopefully bitcoin prices in the future will go up.
1558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price to Asuka will be 8700$ November 2020 on: November 06, 2019, 05:02:20 AM
As you can see, the famous Asuka has missed $16k per 1 Bitcoin in Octber 2019 but it can happen soon , maybe this end of year. However, I just want to point out that her $8750k may not be a typo instead of $ 87500 k because I believe that Bitcoin still has one more impulsive wave which can reach $56k according to asuka next July 2020, then the ABC correction of the whole 5 waves that lasted 11 years sending Bitcoin below $10k or more less. Any thoughts??

to be honest I don't really like it if there are people like that who predict the price of bitcoin will be very high in the future I think consciously it's very impossible because it's just a silly prediction that we know even though they are very smart they certainly aren't always right with what they predict , to make it clearer at the end of this year we see for ourselves whether bitcoin will reach the price they predicted.
1559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and philantropy on: November 06, 2019, 04:10:02 AM
When we're talking about cryptocurrency, we don’t usually discuss philanthropy — donating to charity isn’t something often considered. Most of the talks are all about earning, mining and trading crypto.
That's totally ok, but I believe that cryptocurrency may have some great features that could have a huge impact on charities and charitable giving.

I'd like to ask if you know any charity organizations (verified, of course) that accept BTC as a donation. And if so, which ones? I could only find that list, but it's quite short.

What's your opinion about Bitcoin donations? Did you ever donate your crypto to charity organizations? Why?

previously I only knew of two projects that received charitable donations in the form of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency namely crypto tor and unicef for me they were very noble people because they always made a way to receive charitable donations to be donated to people in need and to daily needs in order to survive, in the future if I have a little money, I will also make a donation so we will help each other.
