Totally agree! One way I helped with the automation on that is to have a non-mining PC that is on the same network do a ping to the miner at a specific time interval. If the ping fails, then it sends a text to my phone and make it my decision on whether or not to re-boot via the smart plug. (That central PC could also issue the command to the smart plug to reboot, but I figured at some point a human has to get involved).

everything is setup and running pretty solid on stock setting.
i flashed GPUs none by one and testing for 20 to 30 mins >> All fine
i add 2nd GPU and did the same >> all fine
i flashed my 3rd GPU bios and when mining getting start and trying to creat 3rd GPU's dag file, a blue screen appears saying" THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER"
and system restart.
But when i upload original BIOS back to any of GPU, mining started without any problem and it ran more than 14hours until i repeat the same process but endup finding with same error " THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER" and system restart.
I did tried to update motherboad's bios but ASROCK H81 PROBTC R2.0 don't have latest BIOS as previous OLD H81 PRO BTC have.
I tried to upgrade with H81 PRO BTC BIOS file versions from P1.30 to P2.30 but didn't detect by ASROCK H81 PRO BTC R2.0
PLEASE HELP ME!!!
there are several reason for the crash, what drivers are you using? overclocking downclocking are you using? Check the 3-rd riser is working alone, give some more info to analise? |

Hello i have this problem with 1 of the cards in my rig.
Its a 7 card rig.
GPU hangs in OpenCL call, exit error
I have try alot of things. Right now i run
-epsw x -mode 1 -cclock 1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200 -mclock 2250,2250,2200,2200,2250,2200,2250, -cvddc 880,850,850,850,850,850,850 -mvddc 920,900,900,900,900,900,900 -gser 8 -dcri 5 -wd 0 -ftime 10 -lidag 3,0,0,0,0,0,0 -tstop 85 -tt 60 -fanmin 10 -fanmax 100
It is GPU0 there get this error. Any ideas? It can happen after minutes or hours
have you check the riser? Yes i have changed it to another 1 but i still suspekt the riser. I have try to under/overvolt, under/overclock the gpu and memory try to change the PCI you have insert the riser with another GPU riser. I fix in that way once |

I have a question:
Currently I am mining PIRL, however due to the DevFee it will restart the miner every hour or so to generate a new DAG.
I'm running with -allcoins 1, I've already tried -allcoins -1 (which crashes the miner).
Any ideas on how to not regenerate every time?
i am mining DBIX and happens the same, is the dev fee that generate dag file for ETH. I think is normal, but i haven't any problem and now its normal for me |

for overclocking using OverdriveNTool.
using claymore - eth 385mh/s + 11800mh/s dcr , claymore overclocking/voltage don't work for me.
gpu 1190mhz/mem (2080 sam/2130 hynix) , core voltage 850mv. total power draw when dualmining is ~2150watt from wall.
Is this good result or should I try improve power efficiency ?

Im running Windows 10 Fall Creators update with 13 x RX 580 , using driver WHQL-Win10-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-17.11.1-Nov10
Hashrate is better than any linux.
I'm on asrock h110 pro btc+ but don't think it make much difference.
and what about the overclock and undervolt, is it possible with claymore? |
