I was wondering if anyone is looking into the ICO graft? I have been looking into it as it is built on top of the NEM platform. It is for payments. Seems like a very interesting crypto, just wanted to know if anyone had any thoughts?

looks like the markets are starting to rebound today, so that's good.
I'm still troubled by the lack of volume. I just don't see how we can have this kind of marketcap with barely 6 million in usd worth of transactions.
I know the typical reason given here is "miners don't have to sell to pay for costs" but there has to be more to it than just that.
There are plenty of coins where it's hard to mine a block much less enough to profit on, and they have tens to hundreds of million in volume per day.
So what do you guys think the reason is? I'm sure no mining is a part of it, but not the entire reason.
Are people really holding that much that there isn't a whole lot out there to buy and sell?
is there just not much interest?
what is everyone's thoughts?
I think NEM is not as popular as other cryptos, but when someone finds out about NEM, he just buys XEM and sits on it. Also, daytraders live on hype and NEM doesn't like hype. Low trading volume means that everyone is satisfied with what they have. |

So i was casually refreshing coinmarketcap when suddenly a wild IOTA appeared.
Is this legit? Are they competing NEM directly?

It is hard to predict the future. If you need a personal advice, yes you should do it and you should do it today. Do not wait for the coming 24 hours, if you are seriously planning to buy XEM, buy your full position today. Do not ask my why not to wait for the the coming 24 hours as I prefer to keep my own market analysis private. Thank you friend. I need advice from experienced people like u.  All of us here are NEM believers so don't expect us to tell you anything else then to BUY NOW!!!  Just make sure you only invest the amount you can lose and still survive. **if you lose everything come back to this forum and we will cry together |

Have you seen the graphs on https://twitter.com/radixdlt?lang=enNem is not even on the list. I thought the Nem team was saying that they were competing with visa. Well apparently no one knows how much tx per second can be made with Nem. LOL radix is the rival technology, ofc they don't add superior NEM to their graphs, they would look like idiots Imagine promoting a graph where your technology is at second place with less than 1/2 transactions per second |

Hi good question, basically catapult should toss NEM to the moon, possibly beyond. NEM is still cheap cos of poor marketing but is technological beast so soonoer or later, it will overcome. |

So I asked one of our electronics stores who accepts bitcoin to also accept NEM. They told me they are going to expand on crypto but they are definetly not accepting NEM, since, same as XRP, it is owned by a private subject   so they are not going to support this "synthetic currency" since it's not even crypto. Earlier today there was a crypto ""expert"" explaining top 10 cryptos on twitter, stating that NEM and Ripple are not even blockchains. (yeah both of them put shit Ripple and a diamond NEM in one bag and shook it) Conclusion: loads of people that actually study crypto have no idea what NEM is!! imagine that people would know that NEM is most decentralized public blockchain! We need to somehow communicate what NEM is to the public. There could be a marketer among us who would be willing to educate public for a bounty. Do I see any hands risen? |

Why are we saving so much? Are we expecting our grandchildren use the fund for development? My opinion is that at least 30% should be already spent on some huge developments. Obviously most of the development is to be done at the start of the project right? I would recommend to search for more developers and give out about 100M XEM in next 3 years. Serious developments will popularize NEM and with further price spikes, the real value of the community fund will increase anyway. Not saying we should overvalue the projects, just that we should wisely spend more. |
