101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]💵USDQ - Platinum QDAO StableCoins 💵 on: August 27, 2019, 05:31:41 PM
Wow. The token costs $ 49. Pretty good price

Yeah i hope you know that is not the token to receive your bounty reward, QDAO and USDQ are two different token under the same project, bounty participants will be rewarded with USDQ,
between the price was much higer than $49 in the past few days, one thin i know is that QDAO has the potential to grow very big if anyone can catch the ieo and buy during the ieo rounds, but buying from otc not such a good idea.
It's clear in the bounty thread that participants will receive a USDQ token where the USDQ token price is stable.I am interested in joining this project and plan to support USDQ bounty but I see the bounty manager does not work quickly calculating stake every week.

That's been the major problem people are kept asking in telegram group, team members should update the spreadsheet on a weekly basis, otherwise, it is very difficult to manage in the end. They mentioned we are going to receive ours in the month of March 2020.
I have been asking this problem with anne as the bounty manager of qdao and it seems like the update of the spreadsheet based on the random update for signature and the rest will be updated when we will get close with march 2020.
Basically, it's not a major problem as long as everyone keeps to posted their proof of work in the google form that already available in the qdao bounty thread.
The agreement was clear about when bounty will be distributed but as far as i know that the update based on how much free time that's owned by the manager.

Sorry, guys, it's not a bounty thread. Can you speak about USDT or QDAO for example?  Cheesy
I wait for a more detailed doc about collateral. How it works on the practice etc. Do you have a clear mind in this?

Yes I know Cool
It's not so important what tokens will pay for bounty. I'm sure in total we all will win if project can make due to roadmap and WP. As I told more stable coins mean more possibilities to save money at the approaching crisis
Sure. Last 2 years we watch on the many 'revolutionary' projects that promise good for everyone and no one will go offended. But where are those projects? I'm following for QDAO team and for the USDQ project because of their right idea: at first, prevent and raise after
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin now you think had a good future on: August 21, 2019, 08:18:20 PM
Imho I see now a stable coin trend. Many investors want to save at first and after to make a profit. That's why I'm interesting any DeFi projects or coins that offer different mechanics for stability. DAI, Nuo, Compaund, QDAO, something else. I think this is a good way to save and get more
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ENDED]GBX-The Crypto Harbour.Gibraltar-based Crypto Exchange&Token Platform on: August 21, 2019, 08:13:30 PM
Are you going do something for increase tokens liquidity? Price is going down every day. Why don't you launch IEO like this is making other exchanges?
The liquidity is the main problem for any exchanges exclude Binance and some Korea exchanges.
I'm following GBX from ICO. But I don't see any competitive advantages. This is a problem for me. That's why so few people use GBX as a trading platform. What for if we have other? I think the team should make something original or outstanding for PR and application. In other cases nobody will use
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: August 21, 2019, 08:00:59 PM
Looks scary:

This is the 3rd time trying these levels in the last 2 years. If the support don't hodl, you see what I am seeing? 0.003...
Ye, man. I watch on the LTC/USDT chart but it's sad also. And I understand that price can go to $60 by one candle. I have some ideas about it but those ideas have conspiracy theology as a basis. That's why I tend not to trust that very much. But I wait for $62-65 till 25-28 Aug
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Tangram - Privacy by design focused DAG Network on: August 21, 2019, 07:55:42 PM
Guys, why so difficult way to install Cypher Wallet on Mac?  Sad
I try to compare Mixin (privacy on DAG also) Messenger and your solution. And they have a simpler application then Tangram now. What do you think about competitors?
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PHR] PHORE BLOCKCHAIN - Private Decentralized Marketplace & Ecosystem. POS/MN. on: August 21, 2019, 07:49:34 PM
Ethereum have now officially contributed directly to development of Phore Synapse with ETH2.0 devs having a PR merged!

You can see this here : https://github.com/phoreproject/bls/pull/11

great news, I also buy coins regularly, great phore time will come soon
What does it mean? I understood that somebody from ETH contributed directly. But what? I'm not a developer or coder. How can I learn more details what happens? And why it so good?  Wink Sorry, guys, I'm learning and want to get more
As I see somebody from ETH team make some contribution in the Phore cod and make an analogue line with ETH update. Isn't it?
I'm following for the Phore development and now it's one problem for me - where can I buy enough coins by the good price?
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]💵USDQ - Platinum QDAO StableCoins 💵 on: August 21, 2019, 07:01:23 PM
Hey, guys. What do you hear about NOAH Blockchain? Is it blockchain for QDAO? NOAH development is closer to testnet. And after QDAO will be swaped. Sure? I'm right?
Yes, you're right. I read on the https://t.me/platinumfund their diaries of development. It's a quite interesting to follow for them. I'm glad that project has a such transparency. Will try to get more info about NOAH details
Sure. NOAH blockchain is the basis for future USDQ, JPYQ, PHPQ and other. I read their diaries with interesting.
Quote:
"We should have some LEGITIMATE  case to show to ALL_ALL_ALL blockchain society that NOAH BLOCKCHAIN is a USEFUL blockchain.
We are not like Cardano or NEM - which are "sophisticated",  blockchains BUT!!!!! There is no use for them! Which leads towards the fact that THEY ARE USELESS!!!
4) We are building a BLOCKCHAIN with GREAT USE CASE for global worldwide remittances. And this is a NOAH Blockchain"

That's why I'm in and wait for every update
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH 2.0 will cause FOMO or FUD? on: August 20, 2019, 06:23:26 PM
I think way too much is made of this idea of passive income. What good is a 5% (or whatever amount they come up with) reward in something so volatile? I mean, look at coins like Dash and others... 5%+ reward is fine if a price is stable or rising, but in an investment that can lose 90% of its value? I mean, why bother?  If someone wants 5% interest, just put the money into some junk bonds, which are considered risky as far as bonds go, but are a zillion times safer than any crypto. Or put the money into stocks, or real estate, or lots of other things.

Not that I think ETH may not get a pump from 2.0, it just seems weird to me to think passive income would be the reason.
If we will compare ETH and fiat payments we never will accumulate any alts. While simple investors don't have a possibility to wide coin application then they will not use anything for using.
With +5% per year, it's a poor income system, I agree. If we tell about investors and traders 5% is too small.

Imho ETH 2.0 will cause nothing. Update and some speculation
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do or Die for ETH on: August 20, 2019, 06:17:15 PM
Ethereum is now slowly moving back to that important resistance level, I strongly believe that it will still rise again to great heights as it is the only cryptocurrency giving BTC a heavy chase. Its price reduction
Is never the death of it. It will surely gather a bullish momentum. Hodl!

TA for such big coin as ETH is not so exact. We have a solid reason at 2017 for price growth - ICO boom. But what we have now or what we can predict as a reason? Hardfork and ETH 2.0 with PoS? I don't sure. Wide application on the quick platform? - It's not an Eth while. I don't see the fundamental reason for restoration, sorry
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard is forming its own crypto team on: August 20, 2019, 06:12:48 PM
MasterCard is forming its own crypto team, The payment solutions company has called for applications to work in the dynamic intersection of cryptocurrencies and payments in its recruitment listing. Mastercard added that the hired people will monitor ecosystem trends in cryptocurrency as well as develop upcoming products and solutions. hope you remembered facebook's Libra too. it's no news that crypto is nothing but the future . we are getting there

After Facebook we now have Mastercard Paypal is also planning, there are an old saying old roads lead to Rome, now every company wants to have its own coin or token, the community's work has been cut off because of these companies, now if people are going to ask what is Cryptocurrency, we just have to ask them do you have MasterCard or Facebook, check out their own cryptocurrency.
I don't sure that it's good. Maybe for wide mass adoption crypto from FB or MasterCard are great as simply working. But people will not be interested in technology or basis. Simply use. From this side FB, MasterCard, PayPal as part of Libra are good. No crypto idea - simplicity only
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]💵USDQ - Platinum QDAO StableCoins 💵 on: August 20, 2019, 06:05:15 PM
Most of the people are showing a lot of interest towards the stable coins but still, we don't have any proper news about how much money they raised through the IEO's. Still, they are conducting the IEO, and QDAO coin price is kept increasing in the market.
On the https://tokensale.qdao.io/ I saw that 3rd round ended succesfully in 15 days from 1 Aug. Contributed $1050000 for 35k QDAO. 1624 participants bought by $30 per 1 QDAO. And now QDAO price near $55. This is data from OTC sales. I think project confidenlty goes to goal

Yes, we are seeing some exceptional improvements from this company, every time when they are launching the IEO rounds almost they are reaching their hard cap. I hope we are seeing accurate updates on their social media channels.
No doubts. Will wait for some significant update. And we are closer to the crypto growth on the wave of total mass adoption. I'm sure it'll happen not so far. From tech analyses too many coins ready to grow now. I'm sure it's a gracious time for any project. And for strong also

114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cosmos it is a Ethereum-killer? on: August 14, 2019, 07:00:00 PM
Q: Can [insert new smart contract platform] replace ETH?
A: Anything is possible, but this new project hasn't yet proven itself or been battle-tested in the way that ETH has. This is a promising new project, but is still largely based on speculation and hype.

I think this applies to quite a few coins, not just Cosmos.
This is not only the first thing dude, tezos and tron have already made their self-proclaimed like cosmos (maybe it's created by a fan but this is a speculation thread and it's not big problem) in the past if both will be replaced ethereum in the future but they can't. to battle with a coin like ethereum which has very big communities was not an easy task.
All coins have the same chance but the result will have proven their claim.
I want to write about Tezos also. Project has a good development, own language for smartcontracts, many ideas and good tps. The Cosmos killer feature is working platform. Binance use their base for example. And it's good. But Tezos has enough time and forces to make a good solution for programmers and users. I think we will see a strong competition not so far
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to invest safely in cryptocurrency? on: August 14, 2019, 06:54:33 PM
When you enter on thee crypto market or any other market the first rule is to use money that you can lose without life crush. If you will remember those rule always then any deals will not so terrible. At second, we should remember to use small deposit while we don't have enough experience. I think there are 2 main rules for safety in the any investment
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters killed ICO? on: August 14, 2019, 06:48:19 PM
FALSE.

We all know that hunters can and impact token price but this is true only in low liquidity markets.
And liquidity comes form secondary investors and traders.
I see that ICOs where like a wheel, those investors who got huge ROIs from the first bubble ICOs continued to invest because it was too easy in the first time, they reinvested till they made a decision to stop losing money. The made money was lost and investors lost, new investors are very hard to come by.

It`s false from one more reason, bounties are usually 5% of total coin cap. It`s crazy to think that 5% can hurt the market. They can disturb it, that`s fine,
but to drop price to zero that can do just some big early investor, who had opportunity to buy for very low initial price, with some good bonus, and the team behind
with access to huge amounts.

Ye, man, the same. I think for ICO seed and closed rounds are deadly with the giant discount. This is dangerous when the huge count of tokens from whales and funds goes on the market by x0.1-x0.5 from ICO price. This crushes price more than poor bountyhunters
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you invest in Mining Company IEO? on: August 14, 2019, 06:44:39 PM
It's not profitable. The most profitable mining company is Bitmain. Because of they sell using ASICs by packed it in the new body. This is profitable. But to buy ASIC with the goal to lease it is the biggest joke. Human, take a calculator and count own profit and company profit. Can it to be profitable?
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What cryptocurrency are you currently buying during a dip? on: August 14, 2019, 06:40:00 PM
Today we had a hard drop,  i was expecting BTC to go to 10500, it went to 10200ish.
XRP just went totally crazy, drop like crazy.
Thinking that this could be a good place to buy it.

I think that this would be a good place for btc to bottom and go up like crazy, alts will follow.
I try to buy more BNB. And by my BNB from deposit I try to trade ETH/BNB with the aim to increase BNB. What happens I will see tomorrow. But I'm sure BNB will not dump strong. This coin have some stable features. No strong growth no strong dump.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should I start buying ICOs again on: August 14, 2019, 06:34:52 PM
The hype around ICOs have ended and so is it difficult to find a legitimate ICO project to invest in. In my opinion, I would rather invest in bitcoin and altcoin than invest in ICOs right now.
Yes, man, I think the same. I participated in some ICO and IEO. But now I don't advice to do it because of total loss of confidence. Team don't want to make own roadmap after succesful fundraising. Anfd this fact completely discredited the essence of ICO
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What If Nothing Change In 2019? on: August 14, 2019, 06:32:01 AM
As we can see nothing change in 2019 definitely. SEC postponed ETF, altcoins continue to die, all team dreams about lambo only. Market has own life and we can't influence. But what about the way of development? Who wants more difficult blockchain consensus and more tps? But we have the private key with 12-18 phrases for auth still and this is sad
