221  Other / Meta / Re: Bug in the activity system? on: April 13, 2020, 03:02:46 PM
I think I finally understood. The key is here:

Quote
If your post count eclipses your activity by 14 or more [...]

Which means (I suppose), that while the posts number is not greater by 14 or more compared with the activity (meaning while posts number is still equal with the activity, or greater by 10 or by 13 and so on), the activity number increases "live" (where live means an amount of ~1h).

Is this correct?

Even if your post count is only 1 more than your activity, you must wait until the next two-week period starts and make a post to increase your activity.

Let's say your post count is now 253 and your activity is 252. Your activity cannot increase unless a new two-week period starts and you make a new post in the new period.
You make your 254th post in the next period. your activity will become 254. Every new post will increase your activity. But it cannot exceed 268 (252+14).
If your first post in the next period is your 269th (or higher) post, your activity will become 268 (252+14) and cannot increase until another two-week period starts.

This is the right answer.

And for example your newly created account made before the update of activity and you make 1 post. You claim already your first 14 activity and when there is an update and you make another 1 post you will recieve another  14 activity and it  equals to 28 already.

To claim your 14 activity you dont need to complete all the 14 post one is enough to recieve it.

223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Trust Wallet! on: April 13, 2020, 07:45:03 AM
Hello Everyone,
I want to start social bounty again, because i think this is the right time to do online jobs/bounty hunting! So, my question is, Is Trust wallet supports ERC20 tokens? Do you think it is secure enough?

Thank you.
Stay home! Take care your Family.

yes, many hunters using that wallet for thier payment in bounties in addition you can also use Imtoken   as alternative to trust wallet.

If you are looking for much secured wallet you can use Myetherwallet or Metamask  browser extension.

225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We failed altcoin!! Altcoin then did the same on: April 12, 2020, 02:11:33 PM
I think the real reasons behind terrible altcoin market are:
Dozens of scams, inactive or abandoned projects in last couple of years which has taken the trust and interest of investors away from altcoin market.
Some projects that are alive and active but are unable to come up with quality finished product even after 2-3 years of time and with many fake promises, such projects have also damaged the altcoin reputation badly.
So at the moment people are looking for only top coins to invest or trade which is hurting altcoin market as well.
Yes , sometime its not about investors that leave that project .but the owner abandonned it after they get support from investors . Too many scam that also collected money from us , if you add all of the scam project  its hundred million dollar or even billion they collected money from us. As a result we all have experience negative impact from the market .

They are still continue selling thier money collected from us and even selling thier own token to investors, and thats what really happening thats the reason why we have a long bear market seasons.

Can you imagine where we are now if we dont invested our money to the new project  and only invested our money  in btc and other popular coins?
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero get delisted, again on: April 12, 2020, 08:38:48 AM
Monero get delisted once again because of low trading volume and anonymity functions on Houbi Korea exchange, why is this happening? Are people getting tired of privacy coin? Xmr is one of the top coins, what's your take about this?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/huobi-korea-delists-xmr-amid-nth-room-sexual-exploitation-case-rumors/amp

In the source you are given it is not base on the trading volume on that coins. But the persons use that currency in illegal ways criminal acts, thats why exchange decided to remove it from thier list . because many people  been using that currency in a bad way and have the ability to exchange that currency in your exchange will also help those bad persons.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline cryptocurrency transfer? on: April 12, 2020, 07:33:19 AM
Well, technically you're not sending via the internet, but ask that service provider to send your money or pay for whatever it is. It's like you ask your friend to send some bitcoin with their network while you're still taking a bath. No internet needed (by you), isn't it?

It's not groundbreaking imo. Several services are doing the same thing, you can find them on the Project Development board.
So thats means its a third party services you are not the one who send the payment but that sms services provider.

Good idea, but the question is how secured will it be if you are only using thier services and not you are the one who have control on your money. And i am sure having that service will also ask for additional fees.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY PUNISHMENT, TASKS ARE TOO DEMANDING on: April 11, 2020, 07:45:17 AM
if you are not able to follow the rules made, please look for the bounty according to your current ability and do not force the bounty manager to follow your wishes.
My advice is just follow the bounty that you are good at, because there will be differences in results between bounty that have strict rules and not.
Agree with this one, Its not manager fault if you cant follow her rules he is the manager of that campaign so  he know what rules  should be given that might help the campaign he manage.

If you dont like the rules he given the answer  is simple, find other campaign that you think you are suitable to complete not the one he manage. Its not the manager who will follow participants rules, Its you that need to follow her rules since you are the  one want to join to the campaign  he manage.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 11, 2020, 05:51:35 AM
We all know cryptocurrency. We Buying and selling different types of altcoins in different exchanges. Many of altcoins have the same features, total supply, blockchain, even number of decimals, But in their prices, there is a huge difference. So, there is one question that appears at this point that "What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin ?". Is it makes a high price by listing on many different exchanges or the team works behind that altcoin/project? Or something else. This is a big question which all of us want to know.

The difference is the demands of the coins.
We have different supply for every other coins and most of the coins we have in the market doesnt have any real use cases this is the reason why its harder for them to increase its price.

The price will not only determine base on the supporters or community even you have many supporters if the project you are supporting doesnt have any use cases it will not increase its price , it will move  but only a little movement.
230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Market Cap to Determine High & Low of Market on: April 10, 2020, 03:14:05 PM
Yes, but how can you use Market Cap in Relation to current price to give you information about Highs and Lows?
Your question is not transparent to be answered. Market cap doesn't indicate anything other than having a rank. You can get some information from volume. What did you mean by highs and lows? Price increase and decrease?

I'm not sure, but I heard a trader mention a way to use Market Cap to work out highs and lows.

Not exactly sure what he meant by that but was checking to see if anyone is aware of how the cap can relate to highs and lows.

JH

i think that user's want to say if you are looking for pass graph of the coins. It will only help to see price of the coins before and you can decide whether to buy that coins if you are in goodtiming buying it or you need to wait a little more longer before buying.
Maybe hes not talking about all marketcap of the coins  but the monitoring webiste like coinmarketcap.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which tokens do you like to stake/hold for profits? on: April 10, 2020, 12:11:05 PM
I prefer hold coins over stake, because hold is more profitable. Price movements in the market are very volatile, this is what makes it hold
can be very profitable. Unlike a stake that provides very small income, but stake coins are relatively safe. I will hold ETH, LTC and XRP.
As for my stake, I will choose the XTZ and BNB tokens, because both of them are very appropriate as the tokens stake.
More of the staking coins lost his value for long term so its not really a good choice investing on one of it.
Holding might be good for long term but only choose popular one since we do not have idea how those other coins will be ended . Only good project proven thier self will last long so always check if one you invested can survive even long bull market.
232  Other / Off-topic / Re: There should not be any more Lockdown in the US, Save the traders! on: April 10, 2020, 10:21:36 AM
Do you have any idea how many death US have as of today?  Do you want to change lives just for the money that you will not lost in trade. your so selfish having that idea just to benefit your own greed and doesnt have any concern for others that have difficulties to fight against the virus.

Money can earn anytime  but lives cannot be back again once its gone .

Who cares what will happen to the economy if this decision  will save more life.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for legitimate airdrop / giveaway on: April 10, 2020, 07:13:21 AM
I think everyone doesn't care about airdrops because they only give a reward of no more than $ 10. but you are still looking for a legitimate list of airdrops regardless of what you will get. Now it is very difficult to determine a legitimate airdrop, just as difficult as choosing a valid bounty
I think is looking for old project that has an airdrop and have exchangr already . That was i think is legitimate airdrop that he is looking for .

Its not really that hard to find legitimate airdrop but the harder part is to find a good value of those tokens they given. Because some time its not even worth $10 if you exchange it.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The sincere bounty managers should escrow bounty rewards on: April 09, 2020, 02:26:44 PM
A lot of projects haven't even finalized their smart contract before they launch their bounty, hence why they are not able to send out the bounty allocation to the bounty manager for escrow. Also, some projects plan to launch straight to their mainnet, these one obviously cannot send out their tokens straight away since their coin doesn't even exist yet.

The bounty manager should clarify if this is the case so that hunters are aware about the current technical state of the project.
And this is the reasons why having an escrow will not work. There are also project change the contract before or after listing the tokens so it will also be a problem to escrow if they manage to send the contract and the payment send already to the promoters.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The sincere bounty managers should escrow bounty rewards on: April 09, 2020, 01:33:11 PM
I do not think that this will prevent deceitful projects from deceiving people. Let's say the rewards are even distributed by the bounty manager, but that doesn't guarantee that the project will be listed on an exchange or that people will try to invest in that project.
That's our main problem, projects should have to be listed at exchanges in this market so we can get valuable tokens. I am not concerned about delaying token distribution, as long as they are listed on exchanges. Surely we will receive money in the future
i found a list having that kind of campaign however the allocated fund  to bounty hunters is less valuable but you will surely know that all of the effort promoting a project will not be wasted.

We already have that kind of campaign here and this kind of campaign we should give support as bountry hunters, not those project that only give promises.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Possible Effects of Coronavirus on the Crypto Industry on: April 09, 2020, 09:34:59 AM
How did you know that people are now attracted or seeing potential in crypto? Is there a statistics that shows that marketcap went up when this pandemic started? Well, it did the other way hence it followed the stock market. Hence, crypto is a good alternative and yet, there is room for profit for large investors.

With this case we have right now i dont think there are people will buying crypto currency, you will only do this if you are rich and have more money to use for investment and you choose to invest in bitcoin and crypto currency since its not so much affected with prices unlike stocks.

If you are a normal employee you will never invest your money because you know you are the one who need it most at this moment so investing is not your main priority but foods and other possible expenses.
237  Other / Meta / Re: How can I increase my merit? on: April 09, 2020, 06:47:16 AM

238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggestions for online gamblers on: April 08, 2020, 04:19:28 PM
^ That's what we called, spend in gambling the amount that you can afford to lose. Probably 5-10% only on your salary will go to gambling if you can afford it. Put your higher amount and prioritize your family and of course, there should be always a savings for an emergency purpose like a calamity that we will not know will come. Nevertheless, OP did a great job, all suggestion was right and this is very useful to others who begun addicted to gambling.
For gambling players having fun might not care about the risk of losing a portion of the salary allocated to enjoy gambling, I mean they will stop gambling if the funds have been lost. That will help control yourself to manage finances that are worthy of real life.

If you are just having fun playing. But more of the gamblers play not only for fun but to win .

And the the truth is every time there is always money involve that can wipeout your money with just one mistake prediction and you may lost it all. It will hard to control when you are too greedy to win  the amount you want to win.
239  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much has the lock-down due to the pandemic been able to benefit you? on: April 08, 2020, 02:45:39 PM
For me eating with my families having time with them even we are in lockdown is very beneficial  for me .having time bonding  with your family  for simple watching movies only happen once in a while. Since we have different schedule for jobs and we cant even eat in the same table at the same time because we are busy in other important things such as earning money for the job to live bit we forget important thing which is to be in your family.

In situation like this we do realise the important of having a complete family we have and we dont want them to be sick.

I kNow some people doesnt like to be at home but its just small sacrifices you need to do to help not to spread virus and help your government to fight against the virus.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for games to earn/win free cryptocurrency on: April 08, 2020, 01:22:36 PM
Why are you trying to make money this way? Honestly, you will not be able to make too much money this way, if you work hard every month you can get a few cents from it. It is better to take part in airdrops and bounty because it will certainly bring more profit to you

Maybe the OP is also want to enjoy playing and earn money at the same time.

He is not looking for high payment since we know that its not really possible to have a high payment games when its free.

For bounties and airdrop you may earn however will you enjoy earning participating in it. It is like a job that you need to finish reuired task to recieve rewards.
