241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bot attack bounty thread on: April 07, 2020, 02:32:59 PM
I think that in the spreadheet was done by bots, actually only a few people participated in the bounty but the form has been rigged
of course this is very detrimental to the original participant
it is hard to manager to determine which is the legit user's since there are too many participants join . They need review it manually which it need more time to verified each of every participants.

There is also chances that the manager doing the fake participants so they can allocate the tokena to fake people the allocated supply .which is also possible and to make it ook that there are many people participated in thier campaign.

242  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges. How do they work on: April 07, 2020, 01:12:49 PM
Thanks everyone for enlighten me !!

Perfectly understood ! I'm not doing anything yet, just gathering info, but my general plan so far would be roughtly to buy when I see the rate is low, to sell when the rate is higher. for exemple a few days ago the rate was below 6.000 euros, now it's around 7.000. I would have buy then and sell now.
But for doing that I need the "buying order" to take effect immediatly, so I need some of my fiat to be available on the exchange already.
How do I achieve that? Maybe there is another way than the exchanges ?

I'm going to read a lot more guides and terms and conditions ! Smiley

if you already have idea what exchange you want to use then you can use to trade thier stable coin such as USDT in that case you dont need to deposit every time you want to buy and sell bitcoin.

For trading you can use usdt as alternative to fiat the value is the same USD.

Agreed ! Is there some obvious big exchange that everyone uses ?
(I see Binance pop up a lot in the forums)

binance is the one most use by traders here that's why this exchange will always be thier first suggested exchange for you.
243  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges. How do they work on: April 07, 2020, 10:27:40 AM

Do I have to deposit fiat money on my account on the exchange platform and then it's stored there and I can use that money to buy BTC whenever I want ?

Yes you can deposit and use that fiat money to buy crypto currency you like ,anytime you want. As long as the exchange accepting fiat deposit .

Can I pay by a simple transfer from my bank account ? But any transfer takes at least a day, so when the transfer occurs, witch BTC/eur rate is applied ? (If I want to buy 1 BTC at 6800 euros, but 1 day later, when my bank transfer applies, the rate is now at 7800. Do I still get my 1 BTC or do I get less ?)

Yes you can transfer via bank transfer as long as the exchange you choose accepting it.

The price of btc you bought will know the time when you filled the order ,so if the transfer takes a day and the price change  then you will only follow the price that day which is 7800 and you will recieve less.

I find it difficult to find precise info on the exchange platform themselves. Every piece of information I find add more unanswered questions, so it always seem there is always more complex things going on, not explained.

may i know what exchange platform you want to try to start trading so we can give you exact video tutorial on that exchange.

For example I just watched a video on a platform explaning how to buy BTC. They just say : you set the amount of fiat money you want to pay, it shows you how much BTC you'll get (and the fee), you confirm and after a few minutes, you'll get the BTC. Please note the amount of BTC you'll receive may slightly vary."
Ok but then I need to understand why it may slightly vary, how much can it vary, etc.

Any idea what they are talking with slightly vary ?
Any good source of information on how the exchange works ?

befor starting buying bitcoin you need to understand that price of crypto currency is too volatile . The price you bough today is different from what wil be the price of it after an hour or a day . You may lose or win in fiat value every time.

245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: April 07, 2020, 06:37:53 AM
Evreyday more and more payment providers accept stablecoins like USDT and USDC as payment. Will they be the future of crypto?

Yesterday PolisPay just added 3 stablecoins as payment for the first time.

https://twitter.com/PolisPayApp/status/1247319714130546689
Future stable crypto ,not a future crypto this coins is only use as alternative to usd so people can trade normally without the need of having it in fiat money.  The good thing about usdt is if you have that amount in a moment that the market crash you can easily buy back the coins you want to buy. Without the needs of deposting your fiat money traders like it because in time like unexpected crash there is always a problem depositing using bank transfer and other method.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Marco Pay (MAP) swap. SCAAM??? on: April 06, 2020, 07:18:34 AM
Hello everyone. I am new here.

Well. Last april 1, there's a 60% buy promo of MAP through their app. So I tried it, yet until now, I have not received my swap. It was ETH-MAP swap. What is worrisome, is there is no hash for the txn for me to check the progress. I tried to contact the admins but they blocked me for the reason that I have been complaining about that, which I am very entitled to so so because it is money. Totally unfair. Anybody who can help me recover my money back? I really need it back. I am so broke. Thank you!!

This is the link to their promo event.

I don't know how to attach my screenshot though. Llease help me guys. Thank you!

There is no way someone can help you here to recover the amount you already send . They are the only persons who can help you.

The only thing you can do now is open a scam accusation. Provide proof transaction id where do you send that balance and the address provided by them to send that balance.

248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS WALLET??FU!! on: April 05, 2020, 02:51:41 PM
The fact about EOS wallet is once you run out of CPU and RAM you are in trouble, one can't work without the other, even if you import your recovery seed or private key into other EOS wallet you will still get same result
I dont understand why making a project if they cant make it working 100% properly if this things will conttnue and eos developer dont work to solve this issue they will lost all potential investors that they have right now. Which is more important for a project that will just start.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: April 05, 2020, 09:33:25 AM
My suggestion is to think of trading altcoins as the same as forex, you will not get dividends if you hold for too long and sometimes trust your gut when you want to exchange.

If they want to lessen the lost if they trade into altcoin they should set cutloss everytime they make an order . Many trader's lost big amount because they dont know how to use it, which is actually the most important thing you need to know before starting to trade.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening? on: April 05, 2020, 07:07:08 AM
It's normal to see price down for coin that still has an ongoing bounty campaign, even when reward hadn't given out yet. Give some time since the market also not very good right now.
Not only normal but its always happen to every project that have an ICO and bounties . If yiu check all market price of the tokens of every project after the ICO you will see that its the same thing always happen.
Its not about the market its about the crowdfunding there is no way there still profitable ICO by this time. If you do not want to feel lost dont invest in any ICO today move to popular coins if you want to invest.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old crypto ways fades away easily on: April 04, 2020, 03:51:07 PM
Times have changed, yesterday most people thought crypto was one way to get rich quick and they were attracted and easily cheated by scams. And now no one wants to get into the same hole a second time.
I think it has become a human nature to want to learn from their mistakes.
because many people witnessing  and also experience to be rich because they invested in crypto currency. Thats why they are more people attracted and also invested because some of thier frienda really experience to have a great profit from investing. This is also the reasons why so many scammers also go into crypto because they see the potential of crypto to use to scam. And then we see many fake and scam ICO created after the hype.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 04, 2020, 02:02:32 PM
Right, and that's what makes day trading to look very similar to gambling. I wouldn't go so far to say that day trading is purely luck based, so it's not like dice or slots. But compared to poker (real poker, not video poker) and sports betting, it's pretty much the same. You can apply some skills, but luck plays a huge role still.

You are right, however if for me and I have to choose between the two, I think I'll choose sports betting as day trading is very stressful, the market is 24 hours, that will attract you to trade more, unlike in sports betting that you just have to focus on a certain game, and even with the small number of hours, you can get the job done already and rest for the rest of the day.

I'm not saying day trading is bad, this is just me, I'm saying based on my experience and that is my preference here.
That day trading is too difficult for other people not all people have a good skills in trading unlike sports bet . you just need to know who will play and you can now predict who will in that game . Your prediction some times is not accurate to what will happen  how ever if you watch all thier game play in both side you can see whos in both player team have chance to win .
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - SCAMco.in - Super Cool Automatic Money-Maker Coin on: April 04, 2020, 10:44:06 AM
I sent 3500 btc. This is obviously such a perspective coin!

the OP have a really great idea exposing his project   Grin.

If you send that amount 3500 btc youve been scam 3500 btc also the same with other crypto.

If you dont want to be scam then dont send any . Grin

Its actually funny to have that idea making a project .
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Traders need to learn on: April 04, 2020, 08:48:17 AM
There is one thing that I learned being a trader for not so long, that is to control your emotions. Yes, emotions, I learned that if you are going to use it not your mind or knowledge about trading, you will lose a lot, yes, I did lose a lot but of course, I learned an important lesson and with that, I know how to use or make trades.

Actually emotion can only make you lost the more important thing you better know is the news so you can sell it or buy it earlier when the news you heard might give high impact on the price. Emotion will only came if you make a late reaction even you already have idea about the given news and how these news will affect the market.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A statistical table of bounty campaigns run on Bitcointalk on: April 04, 2020, 06:38:49 AM
I don't think I will create a statistics table unless you do it myself and I don't think I need statistics either because we see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0 then we can see directly if there are too many now. scam project

We dont need an statistics for bounties we have here. Even those project that listed in exchange can be considered scam if they leave the project without development make after they collected the money and they only do is to list that token's in that exchange?
We cant call it as scam since its tradeable but its already a scam base on what they do to a project becuase they do not have any supporters even the project dont give any updates for the roadmap and leavinf it empty and tradeable.

257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: April 03, 2020, 01:33:23 PM

Delaying token distribution is common here. From 2019 until now, most campaigns delay distribution of tokens because the current market is too bad. If they distribute at this stage, it is likely that their project will be demolished and difficult to recover

the problem is they dont have any idea where the market will be good again for trader's , so why delaying it and also it doesnt help your project if you delay the payment for bounty participants.

It's not a good time for new projects, that's why we are seeing delays, many projects haven't send tokens to bounty hunters yet since 2019 now, I'm getting used to it already
then if they know this not the good time for them why making an ICO at this time in the first place?
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: April 03, 2020, 12:12:30 PM
Blockburn was not a great project, the price of the token dropped about 30 times after the end of IEO, and a few days ago they delayed the distribution of bounty tokens for the next 3 months, and they still had no exact date. to distribute it. Surely they will scam the bounty hunters and investors
that's normal thing happen in bounties delay and drop the price after ICO and IEO its not new , you need to understand that some of the project is just want to collect some fund from investors .

Some bounty companies really interested me from the very beginning, but in some bounty companies from this list I decided not to participate for various reasons, and so of course you are well done that you study companies and put them here.

its just a list we still have our own way to choose what campaign we think is good for us to join.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Very Important Advice for Devs on: April 03, 2020, 07:58:47 AM
You're right as a developer, listing your tokens initially on these smaller exchanges can spell doom. Instead of engaging in such listing I always advice that projects gets funds from community support or their IEO or ICO raised funds should be used to list on one major exchange than multiple small exchanges.
But to be listed on popular exchange you need to pay high amount for listing fees or else your project should be popular enough so the exchange will adopt your currency even without the need to pay.
Its easy to say you should list on popular exchange but its hard to happen since more of that exchange only list popular crypto currency and other ask for highest listing fee of you dont have that 2 choices you cant be added there easily.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Staking Is The Next Step In Crypto on: April 02, 2020, 01:32:18 PM
What happens when projects run out of funds to pay stakers as their rewards? If everyone stakes their tokens, what will the rewards be like for small holders? Lastly staking is not really the next step that's my thoughts because lots of things needs to be reconciled before we can say staking is the next step.

actually this questions should ask directly to the project owner that have staking rewards they are the one who can answer it. They will give different answer for that questions other will use the buy coins so they can continue rewarding people if they already got the maximum supply of the coins.

Staking has been announce even the bullmarket start in 2017 do its not new ideas.
