Why do you think that it manipulates? They have good and reasonable criterias to be listed in their site. And they mostly have very exact informations about cryptocurrencies that you can not find anywwhere else.
which? the bribe of the Cryptocurrency owners? I think he is talking about those evasive Ads about cryptocurrency and ICO's that had been popping when you open the website. @OP if you really want to find the most accurate and up-to-date market value, then I suggest going to a trading platforms. It has been ~60 hours since I sent ADA from Daedalus to Binance.
Transaction has been well confirmed within a few minutes on the blockchain.
However, no funds in my Binance wallet, nor anything pending.
I sent an email to support, only to receive an automated reply, to which I responded.
That was 48 hours ago. And nothing since.
Is it normal? How much longer should I expect to wait?
Did anyone else encounter such a delay with ADA/Binance?
Currently Binance facing some problems I am also waiting for support to reply about my few issues you must contact them now hopefully they will give you some latest update about this issue Thanks for your reply. Just got a message that the deposit has gone through. Like you said, it has to do with Binance themselves. I hope your issues with them will be resolved quickly. |

IMO Cardano is a long term investment. It's early stages still, and there are a lot of challenges ahead of the team. However, IF they do manage to pull it off, it'll be huge. Bigger than ETH. Bottom line, this is not a coin to hodl for a few of months. The right perspective here is >1-2 years

I highly recommend his services to anyone in need. it feels like he made this thread to do promotion of the dave service..If he knew this that he can get his wallet recovered from that service he shouldn't had posted it here You are entitled to have a feeling about this thread, even one that has nothing to do with reality. If I owed something to you, I could show you email correspondence between myself and Dave (and other recovery attempts with other individuals and other forums), or the wallet's address to back everything up. |

Digital money that keeps a steady price however mich demand and suppply changes....I think we call that fiat...no thanks. Deflation is the whole point of bitcoin so we the holders of money gain in purchasing power not lose. Awful idea that im sure makes a few insiders very rich.
But you do get deflation, just in a different form. Every time mkt cap doubles you get 50% bonus on your holdings. |

It is not possible to predict when exactly pump will happen. It is true that we can know exchange address, monitor it everyday.
But how we would know if the coins transferred belong to whale who is preparing for giant dump or it is internal exchange transfer?
We have no idea how much time someone decide to keep coins in exchange's wallet to dump it someday.
I can accept a case where monitoring is not possible, as explained above. But if a transaction IS visible, then it's a different story, regardless of its nature; 1. How many large size transactions are there? And by "large size" I mean the size that has a the potential of a significant market affect (and effect). >$5M ? or >$10M worth of coins? 2. Of those transactions, what percentage (an assumption based on historical data) were a dump and what were a legitimate transaction? 3. In both cases of a dump and a legitimate transaction - it's safe to assume that a cash-out will be involved, due to the amount at hand. I think, even if just 20% of dumps (or huge transactions) can be spotted, it can be super-beneficial. And even if it'll turn out to be a false-positive, you can buy your coins back at a similar price you sold them, a day or two later. But, it's just a noob thought...  |

Even with public ledgers, you don't know if funds are moving to an exchange or between individual-owned addresses, especially when most exchanges allow you to generate new deposit addresses every time.
Also, exchanges like kraken allow "dark" trading, in which large sell walls by whales are invisible to other traders.
TL,DR: spotting a dump based on coin movements and sell walls is harder than we think.

Assuming someone decides to dump 18M ETH, or any other huge amount of coins, it's reasonable to assume that the coins should not be stored in the exchange for too long before the sell.
With transactions being transparent, could it not be possible to monitor ledgers for huge deposits and act accordingly, i.e. sell your coins quickly?
And if so, how difficult is it to automate that kind of monitoring?

Regarding the 50% interest payments every time the mkt cap doubles;
Will it be 50% of the initial holding, or 50% of the holding at time of mkt cap doubling?
Say I purchase 1,000 RDX during ICO and 6 months later the mkt cap doubles, by then I spent 900, and own just 100 RDX.
Will I get 500 RDX or 50 RDX, or is it a different formula altogether?

With regards as to when the ICO occurs, here is an indicator, the Open Beta will occur before the ICO is announced. This will give everyone who is looking for more information on what this is all about, a chance to actually run the client node and services to see how it functions.  Firstly, Radix is a Decentralized Ledger Technology, (Thus @RadixDLT twitter account), it does not have a block-chain, but is a pure transactional database. So, because if has no block-chain this is completely new technology, written from scratch. There are a couple of features that I know for sure are not in any other cryptocurrency, elastic Demand/Supply and the native Direct Debit cards. These cards can be used with any point of sale terminal, without any need for a 3rd party clearing method such as VISA or Master-card. And if you are the paranoid type, you can even purchase the equipment for under $100 and create your own debit cards from blank cards that meet certain specifications, that can be purchased off the Internet.  This sounds amazing, finally a coin that has a day-to-day usage, a true currency. You won't even need a bank to have a debit card, and create one by yourself? sweet! Really looking forward to it. |

Thank you for your replies, your opinions help me get a better perspective on the market.
Initially, when I entered the market, I was only interested in BTC, LTC and ETH, and my plan was to invest a (very) few $k and forget about it for 5 years, accepting whatever state they'll be in when I return to them.
However, with the recent turn of events in the market, I found myself invested double the initial plan (still just a few $k), in 20 different coins, reading non-stop, and just being involved hours daily.
I think, taking your opinions into account, a good strategy will be to dilute my holdings in the most profitable alt-coins (except ETH and LTC). Say, to sell an amount equalling to double or treble my investment on the coin, and leave the rest to freeroll for 6-12 months.

Assuming that, nowadays, BTC's hodl could be as long as 5 or even 10 years from now.
How long is a long time hodl in alt-coins?
For example, if I'm looking to hodl ARK/STRAT/XMR, what is the right time-frame? is it just for a few months to a 1 year, or can I leave them for 5 years with the hope of weathering the storms and coming out strong?
And besides, do these kind of coins have a 5-10 year lifespan?
