41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe this is the highest bottom ? on: December 18, 2018, 11:50:01 AM
As per Charts , I believe this is the highest bottom we are touching. if we see 7 days charts there is a grow.  Most are touching now 90-95% decrements.

how about your views ?

I do not believe that this is the bottom and I don't think that we are at the bottom yet, there is going to be a lot more dippings going on after this and what we are looking at right now is just a small recovery to get people hyped up about the coins again and after that is done the coins are going to continue going down and the bear market will get worse
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Send ERC20 Tokens Without Paying Gas on: December 17, 2018, 08:40:20 PM
Even though this might be a good idea right now you have to realize that the gas is there for a reason and that is to make sure that the transactions with the highest gas are the ones that get sent through first and mined. If you do not use gas to send the coins, you should know that even though the coins end up going through, it will take a long time to arrive
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Blockchain. Hello Hashgraph. on: December 17, 2018, 08:34:43 PM
I don't think that this is going to be as popular as the blockchain technology that we already have and even if it ends up being so then it will be a while before people are catching up with the hashgraph. I don't think that blockchain is doing bad right now and maybe when the hashgraph becomes popular they can find out a way to coexist
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am just Dumping all my altcoins! on: December 15, 2018, 03:26:39 PM
Well I have no more patience in holding it so I decided to dump all the altcoins listed in an exchange in a low price. I have been accepting already that I loss already in investing those altcoins. Because we are now in the peak season of the year 2018 and cryptocurrency market seem nothing to have gone good and I have also some needs to meet for the holidays so I sold all the altcoins. I will just check later on if cryptocurrency will going to be back at its normal market.
I understand you doing this as I think this is going to be what I end up doing anyway, the prices are low and people are saying hold but the more we hold the more the prices go down and I have lost so much money which I put in altcoins.  I don't think I too can hodl any longer, it is better for me to take out my money while I still can
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money off cryptocurrency? on: December 15, 2018, 03:19:13 PM
The best way would be to buy low and sell high. Like now when the prices of the coins are down it is better to buy the coins and hodl them for the long term. If the coins end up doing well and hitting new all time highs then you are going to be making a lot of money from the coins. Also you can make a good amount of profit from trading
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pity for those who bought at ATH on: December 14, 2018, 04:34:31 PM
The crypto world at the moment is one filled with so many levels of emotion and reactions to varying degrees of loses experienced by people. While some people are sobbing about their little loses, we should also reflect on the fact there are people who bought BTC @ $20K, Ripple @ $3, ADA @ $1.22, etc. Most of these guys are still hodling, hoping the market will bounce back and they'll recoup their loses.

It is really sad for those people who bought the coins at the all time high as me myself actually bought some altcoins at their all time highs and now most of those coins are worth basically nothing, I cannot imagine buying bitcoin at the ATH and now watching the price of the coin at where it is right now, must be so heart breaking to see
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the time for a comeback for crypto? on: December 14, 2018, 04:25:57 PM
Not yet, there will be a comeback but it is going to be a couple of years from now, cryptos have already have their comeback for this year and now is the time for them to go down and start the recovery process all over again. When we do see a comeback though, one thing we should be expecting is for the coin to hit twice their previous ATHs
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when cryptocurrencies can be used to buy basic needs? on: December 13, 2018, 12:27:35 PM
A lot of projects are going on blockchain and new cryptocurrencies are being launched day by day but when can we actually see  them floating in real market for real use cases like buying a cigarette or bread? is it possible?

It is going to be possible and when this starts to happen then you can be sure that cryptos are going to be the main currency and that everyone would start using them. Although right now it does seem a little bit like a long shot because people are already used to cash but with the next generation knowing exactly how the technology works they would be more inclined to use it
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When you start a new altcoin, if you stop mining does the coin die? on: December 12, 2018, 11:55:08 AM
Looking at the way the algorithm works, is it safe to assume if no one is staking/mining the coin for longer than 10 minutes is it impossible to keep the blockchain alive?

For example, with master node setup if no one is staking/mining the coins for a while, then doesn't everything start to fall into "out of sync" because nothing has happened in X amount of time?
Yes that is what happens, if your coins is dependent on mining then there is no way that you can just stop mining the coin as that would crash your entire network. The entire blockchain basically runs on the processing power that is generated from all of the hardware from the people that are mining the coin. You would never be able to stop mining unless you want your coin to crash
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make up for the huge loss. on: December 12, 2018, 11:41:21 AM
There is no way to make up, the only kind of making up that you can do is to just hold and wait for the next bull market where you can actually sell your coins for a good amount of profit and make money from it. If you try to trade now you are likely to lose even more money than you have already lost which would not be a good thing especially if you are a newbie
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gas price on: December 11, 2018, 04:59:21 PM
Any reason for the Ethereum gas price being so high lately?

Mostly when you see that the gas price goes up you just know that there is an increased number of transactions on the blockchain and the transactions with the highest gas price always get mined first. You can always just use the normal gas price that you use, you just have to be willing to wait for a little longer for the transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Developer,team or community on: December 11, 2018, 04:49:22 PM
You are missing it, out of all of this there is none that is more important than the other, because if one does not work well then the others are just going to end up failing. They are all very important things to get right. Once everything is said and done, the strength of the community is what determines if all of the hard work that has been put into the project is going to pay off
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to minimize the risk of being scammed. on: December 10, 2018, 04:13:59 PM
Mostly you just want to be very careful with the kind of people that you are dealing with when you are investing in coins especially the new coins. The markets now are rife with scammers and the best way is to just avoid them at all cost. Always remember, if something seems too good to be true then it is most likely a scam, this can keep you out of a lot of trouble
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do one Know which Cryptocurrency to Purchase on: December 10, 2018, 04:02:42 PM
For me the best way to know which is the best coin to invest into is the kind of product that they are offering and that is why the coins right now are very hard for me to invest in since most of the good products are already taken by the big players, I would just rather invest in coins like bitcoin and ethereum because I know that they have the best products to offer
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC as a Scam on: December 08, 2018, 08:16:16 PM
They can use them as a scam and one thing that people do not seem to realize is that they can actually sell the details that you have submitted on the dark web. once your information gets into the hands of hackers they can actually use it to ruin your credit and take off with your money. It is better to avoid kyc on projects that you cannot trust
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: before investing speak to a specialist on: December 08, 2018, 08:11:16 PM
many young folks go on see a pump. fomo and buy in thinking they will be rich. before investing try to speak to someone knows about investing.  maybe they can talk u out of it. save ur self a few thousands perhaps.  not all investing grow on trees not even crypto.

Yea I think this is a good idea. mostly the best way to go before investing is to just start doing a lot of research into the coins that you are interesting in investing in but since a lot of people do not want to do that then I think a specialist would be the next best thing since they can explain to them what they are getting into and what they can do
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: December 08, 2018, 08:03:12 PM
There is no doubt that ethereum is the best coin after bitcoin, it is the coin in the market with one of the highest number of investors and with the coin being so easy to adapt into a lot of sectors there is no doubt that the coin is going to end up doing very well in the future and that is why there are so many people who are investing in it
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: valuable litecoin. on: December 07, 2018, 07:46:24 PM
Do you think Litecoin has more value and potential than Eth or BTC?

Not more than but it does have a lot of potential for the kind of coin that it is. Ethereum and bitcoin are the two best coins in the market so there is no way that we can say that litecoin is more valuable. With a coin like litecoin though, when you invest, you have to make sure that you understand the kind of project that you are putting your money into
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ALT hodlers are selling and leaving this market: They are Fools! on: December 07, 2018, 07:40:19 PM
You cannot blame them, not everyone understood what they were getting into when they started to invest in the coins. During the last bull there was a lot of hype and a lot of people bought a lot of scam coins that they shouldn't have and now they have to watch the value of their coins go down. People get scared and sell, they are human
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO vs ADA on: December 07, 2018, 07:34:03 PM
Yes I know that have nothing do do with each other and that you cant really compare. But if you had to choose one from the other. which would it be?

If it came to it that I could only invest in one of these coins at a time then I would actually choose to invest in neo. It is a very good project and the project members are very much committed to seeing the project doing well. I think that coins like neo are the coins that have the most potential to make millionaires out of their investors
