@cryptx

I would really like to have some insight in stats on both hashrate and revenue.

any ETA on this?

Thanks

We are working on the stats, should be finished early next week.

Thanks, will be looking forward to it.

Cheers
342  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAWMiners.com - THE WAR MACHINE 54 MH Scrypt Miner! $5,899.95 on: May 14, 2014, 08:22:00 PM
Hey Guys,

Wanted to provide an update for everyone.

I have heard you loud and clear. You're upset because we talked about price protection and a buy back program that we did not do with the last set of miners we released.

While we ran in to some unexpected bumps, that's not an excuse. I should have figured out a way to make it work and taken care of those that have taken care of us. For that, you have my apologies.

So here is what we are going to do to fix it:

We are creating an upgrade path for all blade hosted customers that ordered before May 5th (before the price change). You will be able to upgrade from a 5.2MH/s Gridseed Blade to a 13MH/s Black Widow (week 3) for $500!

Here are the rules:
This offer will only be available until May 18th 12 AM Eastern.
It's only available while our stock lasts.
Since we are buying back your old gear, we need to resell it. So at the time of your order, we will take your hosted blade offline.
The Black Widow you will be purchasing will be shipped to you (not hosted) by the Batch 3 Ship Date (June 9th).

Those that want to keep hosting will need to sit tight for, but we will have something cool for you in the future. You will not be forgotten Smiley

We will always do right by our customers, and we are in this for the long haul. Thank you for expecting more from us, holding us accountable, and allowing us to rise to occasion!

You can upgrade here:
http://www.gawminers.com/upgrade-gridseed-blade-to-the-black-widow-13-mh-s-week-three/

Josh - CEO

P.S. You still get your free Fury!

Hi Josh,

A quick two questions from a founder member.

1) I upgraded to a blade on 14th april, do I also get a free Fury?
2) As a founder member, will I be alleged to have the black widow to be hosted?

Thanks for clarifying.

Cheers

Makes sense, already thought a $620 price reduction on a $2299.95 order was huge :-)

Now it still is a $300 reduction on a single 13mhs week one machine.

620 was even nicer but can't complain on a 15% price reduction either
344  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 10 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX - IPO 7 MAY on: May 13, 2014, 08:45:20 PM
Im not sure you understand how mining works, each block is found after the correct share is sumbitted not x amount of shares
mining is a random process there is no guarantee of finding a block in a finite time.

Are you trying to lecture me on how mining works??

Please lookup the meaning of the word variance, than you'll see that all the words you need to explain something can be abbreviated to one word "variance".

Cheers

we get 1GH per IPO sold out

we are at 2GH right now, probably less then 50btc for the week minus hosting so ~22BTC/27000 shares
if the rest of the 3rd is sold then
~0.00073333333 for divs

Should also factor in variance!
variance of what?

Of finding blocks, would be nice if every block was found after exactly x amount of submitted shares.

With PETA there is page with graphs of speed and a btc wallet where payouts are withdrawn to. I would prefer to have the same transparancy for SCRYPT too.

Indeed, we're hashing! Just to officially confirm the message we have sent out earlier to investors:

First of all we like to thank our early investors for their support and trust in the Scrypt-X project. We took a blazing start with the IPO yesterday and would like to announce that we want to live up to this enthusiasm and started with the deployment of our first scrypt miners today and additional miners already on their way!

http://www.cryptx.com/early-deployment-of-scrypt-miners/

Will there also be a hashing stats page with some graphs just like peta?

Which wallet address can we monitor in order to view the earnings?

Alot of ppl did not believe there was any hashes being done before the 15th but you managed to get it even a week earlier.

Cheers and have a nice Belgian beer like Trapist, just to celebrate a succesfull IPO.

You won't get an answer. These guys are most likely leasing hashing from others

If you're jealous, you can still join the party and buy some shares.

37 shares got sold at the wrong price it seems... correct?

correct, but now batch2 is sold out which would mean they are sold at the right price ;-) only a bit too early lol
351  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 10 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX - IPO 7 MAY on: May 07, 2014, 08:41:11 PM
Round 2's nearly complete. Less than 1000 to go.

I think after friday's dividend payment of PETA we will see some extra buying in SCRYPT-X.

352  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 10 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX - IPO 7 MAY on: May 07, 2014, 03:28:30 PM
wow I almost missed it... I feel like BTCT days are almost back 23 min

Probably they didn't plan it to go this quick as they still haven't opened batch #2 for trading.
353  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 10 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX - IPO 7 MAY on: May 07, 2014, 03:25:08 PM
And batch one is sold in 23 minutes...

Quite nice how quick 380BTC or roughly $170k is being raised.

Batch #2 will take a bit longer that for sure.

Let's see if cryptx can keep up with his promise to have some units hashing on the 15th this month.
354  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 10 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX - IPO 7 MAY on: May 07, 2014, 03:10:11 PM
more than 8500 shares shold in the first 10mins of IPO release.

Not bad.
* EnJoyThis is wondering how many batches of IPO will get sold out before the 15th.
355  Local / Markt / Re: [NIEUW] Investeren met 10% tot 30% rendement. on: May 07, 2014, 01:59:08 PM

At curent prices you would pay 163.4 usd per MH for the first 10.000 units. (much more if btc will rise)
You will have a few months at most mining with profit , accounting the flood of scrypt asics.
Some examples:
  - 125  usd/MH - The War Machine GawMiners
  - 33.31 usd/MH - Titan KnC

Looking at already available hardware like the Gridseed Blade.

These machines run +5.2Mhs. (averaging 5.6Mhs most of the time)

They nowadays retail at $950 when ordered in larger quantaties the price will more likely be around $750-$800 judging from the fact there are currently resellers which charge anywhere from 820-950.

But for the calculations, let's assume $800
At current btc price of $430 this would mean 1.86BTC

one blade would represent 52 shares of 100kh/s on SCRYPT-X
52 shares at IPO would cost 1.976BTC

In case all 100k shares are sold the average IPO price is 0.04475 a share.
For 52 shares it would mean 2.327BTC

We all now Gridseed is able to deliver quick and thus hardware will be available within 2 weeks.

Therefor the IPO price isn't cheap and I can say without hesitating, the premium of about 25% you pay is quite steep.

I would also like to know if I can 'trade-in' my blade and put some more money on the table to buy one of the GAW-miners.

Let me know as I would like to have my order in during the founders-members time frame.

Cheers

The GAW Miners members area is: http://www.gawminers.com/members-area/ and you need your previous order # placed between 18 March and 1 April to get the discount pricing. Founders club info is at: http://www.gawminers.com/blog/gaw-founders-club/

How do I get added to the founders club? I was in the past (hence the email) but while trying to login and/or reset my password, I discovered my account was deleted. I don't have any founders club code to add anywhere. Just an email saying "Welcome to the club", but it's for the old account that I guess you guys deleted?

YOu can't, only the people who ordered from GAW between 18 march and 1 april are founder members.

I'm proud to be one of the happy few ;-)
I am a Day 1 (march 18th) user. My account was deleted/removed though. I still have my invoice and all of my emails from gawminer though.

I had to create a new account. How can I be re-added?

sent an email to support@gawminers.com they'll sort it out.

Yep and that's why not matter how much you spend it's so ridiculous. Honestly, flaunting the "founders club" with a giant banner on their site with a "learn more" link is such crap because it doesn't mean shit to anyone except the few that bought early. That's why us "regular" members don't have any real loyalty because you've essentially locked us out and we can get what you offer in many other places.

You should read a bit more before posting.

Founding members can order today
Existing members can order tomorrow
New customers can order the day after

So frankly you do have an advantage in being earlier than new customers.
Remember it's only 1 day!

And would you order from a company which was only 'online' 2 days, well I did and I ran the risk of losing all, it turned out to be one of my best buys in crypto industry. Well sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Make sure to jump in early.

And on the other hand, I had to pay a total of $3k for a blade, so all-in-all a customer ordering a blade yesterday would have had a massive advantage on me (dollar wise) so don't think you have anything to complain about!
