1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: November 21, 2017, 05:08:29 AM
Im at a lost with this D1800 board, i cant get it to post for the life of me, ive tried 2 different ram sticks, 5 different GPU's... just nothing... gonna file claim to get my money back, the seller has not responded to my messages in over a week.

Is the RAM pushed all the way in? Dumb question, I know, but from that angle in the picture it looks like a lot of the gold plating is showing...

That is what I thought, but the memory is in to the point it clipped into the side supports, I can't get it to go in any further.

Huh...is the slot the typical "put ram in at 45 degree angle and press so it clicks down" kind of slot? Like in this video: https://youtu.be/Q1OZQL2l-lM?t=38

I don't have a board to see for myself so someone else may be able to chime in and confirm...

Have you tried disabling and then enabling the ethernet?

Yeah I tried this and a few others things, but to no avail.  I only have one of these 990fxa-ud3 so it's no big deal to use wifi.
I keep sayng I'm going to troubleshoot when the rig needs a reboot, but I've yet to need one; nvOC has truely been set it and forget it thusfar.

@machiavellious Which image did you use for that specific motherboard?

I can't know for sure which he used, but I would try this one:

for an ASRock H81 PRO BTC or BIOSTAR TB85 use this image

OK thanks
