lot to be said for this just use 6x 1080 ti's yup 6 x 108ti may just make it with good space in between. 12 x P106, 1060, 1070, RX470, 480 reference - since you only need 6pin power cable for this

I got a 1080ti rig that now fails to post. Really troublesome, it doesn't even post with 1 gpu, and after swapping the motherboard. Hope the issue is with PSU or mobo (again), and I don't happen to have 6 dead 1080tis lol. Can power surge kill cards? Now awaiting a new 1600T2 psu to arrive on Amazon. I shouldn't have went with the unknown platimax 1700w psu in the first place, but every good psu was OOS 3 months back. About the 12gpu onda server case: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/4u-6xgpu-8xgpu-12-gpu-cards_60709559773.htmlI got a quote of $680 shipped to my farm. Comes to $56/gpu. $620 shipped for 8gpu version. mobo only or it comes with the casing w/o GPUs? will think about getting a few boards if your testing pass with flying colors.

I've seen bigger. Hehe. No joke. I've built frames for a proprietary 16x GPU board.

Any idea what would be causing MSI power fluctuations on one card? 2x are running at stable 90%, 1 is running at flat 73%, while a 4th is running at 74-43% fluctuations. Dying riser maybe?

Is the RAM pushed all the way in? Dumb question, I know, but from that angle in the picture it looks like a lot of the gold plating is showing...

I'm not getting it till I fly back to my farm end december. Not sure if I'll use those psus too. I might go 8 slot version, ditch the psu and use a proper 1600T2/Ax1500i. Or 12 slot version, go with dual evga 1000p2/t2. They'll run for years, I want the best psu. For my 1080ti rig I swapped mobo and it works fine. Just a dead mobo and a brand new lemon mobo I guess.

Im at a lost with this D1800 board, i cant get it to post for the life of me, ive tried 2 different ram sticks, 5 different GPU's... just nothing... gonna file claim to get my money back, the seller has not responded to my messages in over a week. Is the RAM pushed all the way in? Dumb question, I know, but from that angle in the picture it looks like a lot of the gold plating is showing... That is what I thought, but the memory is in to the point it clipped into the side supports, I can't get it to go in any further.

try redo the sata and molex connections with dedicated cables - you should have 4 sata and 2 perifs on your ATX PSU do you hear a beep upon power on? I get zero sound on powerup, just gpu lights/spins up and cpu fans start turning no noise

Huh...is the slot the typical "put ram in at 45 degree angle and press so it clicks down" kind of slot? Like in this video: https://youtu.be/Q1OZQL2l-lM?t=38I don't have a board to see for myself so someone else may be able to chime in and confirm...

I get zero sound on powerup, just gpu lights/spins up and cpu fans start turning no noise my guess is it is a shorted board. not that you did it. but it may have been a return. If you put the molex in upside down the board shorts. been there done that. once the board shorts if you wire it correctly it then does exactly what you describe. my second board I wired correctly and it is running 2 1080 ti's and 2 1070's

Ive used these cases, but the ones that are $100-110. This one it looks like they just removed the front fand and added a crossbar to screw the gpu edge to..... idk if its worth the extrs $ because I can make my own bracket... but YMMV.
