1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be too big to fail? on: October 28, 2017, 07:34:14 PM
After spending much time as a guest on this forum learning all I can about Bitcoin, I finally decided to join. Glad to be here and thanks for all the great advice along the way!

Now I have a question I'd like to ask. Is Bitcoin going to get to the point where it is too big to fail? The government bailed out Wall Street to avoid a financial collapse. Can Bitcoin gain the same status as Wall Street? The market cap is steadily increasing making it a big player in the game and I'm looking forward to where it is headed.

Thanks in advance!

Bitcoin right is experiencing ups and downs in the market but I believe that one day it will be unstoppable that even the government's ban it do a little effect on it because people will prefer to use crypto currency that fiat. Whatever happens to the banks will be dependent to their actions now if they would adapt cryptocurrency.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: October 28, 2017, 06:34:32 PM
So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes

For the past centuries, gold have become valuable and a good investment for some. But then bitcoins came and make the history's greatest investment. Gold has it on use as a metal while bitcoin offers the freedom you cannot get from your centralized fiat. Both has its ups and downs but for me, I gotta focused more to bitcoins since it the popular and in demand right now.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never stop buying Bitcoin on: October 28, 2017, 04:34:47 PM
I just wanted to ease everyone's fears, I will never stop buying Bitcoin. Every paycheck from now until forever, I'll continue buying Bitcoin during the fud, the bank bans the 'North Korea is mining bitcoin' BS. I don't care.

I might just burn it all at some point but I won't stop buying it. It might be the only thing I can do against the 'establishment'. Every time they call it a fraud/bubble etc.. Don't care, I support this honey badger as much as I can and always will.

It's wild but don't forget, Bitcoin is the first thing in human history that you can 100% trust... Not to always go up in value, not to make you a millionaire, it will only do exactly what it says it will do.

I can totally agree with this. Bitcoin is more than an asset or an investment that can make you become rich. It is a form of currency which the main purpose is to do- to have transactions online. We can store our money here without any fear that our local banks have brought to us. No one hinders us to use our money in the things we want. We are free.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: October 28, 2017, 03:07:09 PM
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh

Saving bitcoins for your children is a good investment to start since it would take years before you will put it to use. However, unless you tell your family the details and information of your cryptocurrency, you need to the assistance of your lawyer. Bitcoin is independent from the government so therefore no one can really transfer it to your family when something happened to you. The only assurance you can have is writing it down and locking the info until such time it is needed.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: October 28, 2017, 02:36:19 PM
I know we are still at a start of cryptocurrencies, but bitcoin is growing with lightning speed right now and some banks already see it as a potential threat.
There has been a lot of accusations form banks, that bitcoin is perfect for money laundering and is used for supporting crime.
I think they can do a lot of harm to bitcoin market and they will eventually start with harsh campaign against it.
Do you think it will happen and when?

Financial institutions really fear the potential of bitcoin in the modern day society. With its support from the online community, cryptocurrencies are now leading the online market. I would be not suprised if banks start to create propaganda againts bitcoin in which the media is the best tool to use. It would be likely happening right now or maybe someday the near future as the demand of bitcoin increases.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: October 23, 2017, 10:20:42 PM
Bitcoin is changing the way we live.
Bitcoin is changing the way we do business.
Bitcoin is changing the way we travel and save our assets.
Bitcoin and blockchain technology has open new doors for people to do business with one another without the intervention of third parties.

What do you make of this, huh? Share with us what you think. thanks Smiley

for me yes bitcoin is the most used cryptocurrency you are probably more familiar with Bitcoin. Cryptocurrency is a method of moving money securely over the Internet, and it can even be done anonymously if desired. Bitcoin does just this, it transcends identity and national currencies by establishing itself as a self-regulating worldwide currency.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: October 23, 2017, 10:06:49 PM
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?

For me because bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency is bitcoin is amazing! There’s a limit to how many will ever exist and significant control over my own money. And Mining sounds really cool. That sounds like where the money is going to get made.
8  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin Legal? on: October 23, 2017, 03:58:22 PM
The legality of bitcoin depends on who you are, and what you’re doing with it.

There are three main categories of bitcoin stakeholder. Someone may fall under more than one of these categories, and each category has its own legal considerations.

For me bitcoin is legal because if it is not legal, why some of us see ads that is telling about bitcoin ? For example is when there is a game of a basketball sometimes you can see the ads that telling about Bitcoin. It is legal also because we let others know about it because if it is illegal we did not let anyone to know about it because we can accuse us a penalty.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: October 23, 2017, 11:33:58 AM
why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?

Some are banned by the country’s Central Banking system, some are banned by the nation’s government, and in many countries the Central Bank and national government act as one and the same.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees on: October 23, 2017, 10:33:45 AM
Bitcoin transaction fees have become very high for micro payments, is this means bitcoin will never make it to mainstream mass market?

With transactions, users might include fees in order to process the transactions faster. The higher the fee, the more priority it gets within the network and the quicker it gets processed.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Everyone already knows about bitcoin" no.. no they do not.. on: October 23, 2017, 04:37:52 AM
Every time I go to the bank I like to ask them if they have heard of BTC, most of the time the answer is no.
I do ask a lot of people about BTC.. a restaurant near me.. near ish use to accept it as well, I asked to pay with it, they said it no longer exists.. .... ...

Most people I find still have zero idea what BTC is unless they are friends with the likes of us.. I don't think we are even in early adoption stage.. we are in "the chasm" .. it would appear we are going to survive though... appear anyways..

I dunno just something I have taken note of.

Pretty much everyone that has heard of it assumes it's worth like 5 cents and shits themselves when I say it's $1k (Cad) .. we are in very interesting times with BTC.

For me there are also few people who doesn't know about Bitcoin. Because some of my friends did not know about it they always ask me what is Bitcoin and how it works. I always said that from Bitcoin it can help me to earn money, it also helps me to buy the things that I want and helps my family in our financial.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: October 23, 2017, 04:02:30 AM
Bitcoin helps to make money, but he does not reduce the number of unemployed. It is not even the currency you need to earn now, but the investment that secured people can afford.

For me there are so many advantages in Bitcoin. First is it help us too earn money in easy way and it also help us too our financial problem. Second is we can buy the things that we want and the things that we need. Third, it also help us to pay our bills and to help our family in our financial. Last is it can save more money if we are a wise person.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: October 23, 2017, 01:13:13 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

I think that is good to advertise Bitcoin on T.V. so that many of the people who are watching on T.V. will know about it. When they become curious they will start to search about it and also they will ask some of the bitcoin user how it work and how we earn from it so that when they know how it work or what is the process they will start also to use it and bitcoin can express all over the world.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN AS PAYMENT FOR ONLINE GAMES on: October 22, 2017, 11:04:26 PM
I need your opinion about having bitcoin for payments in online games, it is good or nah?

Using bitcoin as payments for in-game items and upgrades is very useful since many people are capable of technology devices though bitcoin and online games are done by computers.

I thinks its very efficient for me as a gamer and a bitcoin user to have a transaction or payment like that.

For me it is good because Valve has partnered with Bitcoin payment service Bitpay to bring everyone's favorite cryptocurrency to games platform Steam. Bitpay says it was approached by the company because it wanted to internationalize its operation, making it easier for Steam users in emerging markets to to buy games without using a credit card.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 22, 2017, 10:49:11 PM
We all know the advantages of BTC, but what are some of the disadvantages??

disadvantage of Bitcoin is that it is very volatile and price of bitcoin keeps changing very fast and sharply which is not the case with other currencies which are very stable. And there is a limited amount of coins and the demand for them increases by each passing day.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons Why Bitcoin Price Drops on: October 22, 2017, 10:33:59 PM
I would like to know your opinion on what factors cause the value of Bitcoin to drop. A brief explanation helps.

for me why bitcoin price drops it is because of Combination of market manipulation and panic sell As we all know, the cryptocurrency market has no regulation. Hence, it is no surprise that some of the big digital market currency players tend to manipulate the markets. They do so for their own profit.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: October 22, 2017, 04:38:19 PM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?

for me bitcoin is a digital currency used to pay for a variety of goods and services. Although physical forms of Bitcoin exist, the currency's primary form is data so you trade it online, peer to peer, using wallet software or an online service.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where does Bitcoin came from? on: October 22, 2017, 04:13:47 PM
Where does bitcoin came from? How it's made and how does it expand/grow? Thank you for any answers.

For me bitcoins come from the mining process. Bitcoins are basically just numbers and the process of mining is the process of generating numbers.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: October 16, 2017, 07:41:44 PM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?

We are now in the era of modern technology and the money that will come handy in the future is non other than crypto currency. Bitcoin, as the most popular among crypto currencies, is considered to be the one who give the word 'money' a new meaning. In the future, I can see that bitcoins will be use by regular citizens for their daily needs.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: October 16, 2017, 07:04:35 PM
Gold in general is no better. The value of gold is nothing more than a result of a global consensus - at the moment everyone agrees to consider gold a measure of value, simply because this measure is in some form or another necessary. If we assume a utopian situation, that tomorrow everyone agrees that gold is not such a measure, then it will be good only for the production of quality wires and trinkets.
The btc is gaining momentum for exactly the same reason - the global consensus towards the btc is constantly being strengthened. In this case, unlike gold, the cue-ball is not only a measure of value, but also a settlement system, and gold is not a competitor for this parameter.

Gold was once the greatest measure of money in ancient times because only rich family can have it. This precious metal have significant cultural aspect that cannot be replaced. On the other hand, as new technology emerged, we should adapt our thinking for money. Having bitcoins as money and symbol of financial status in the modern era, is a great step towards the future.
