321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOON] Mooncoin 🌙 32885+ funded addresses. LTC, then DOGE, then MOON! on: June 04, 2017, 05:42:58 PM
Good to see this topic is also alive. I can tell there is some activity on Moon. Is there anyone here who can give some sort of an update? Like: what step is being worked on now? Is there being work done at all? What is needed for the coin to grow?
322  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Earn 50 bits for the easiest signup ever (no email required) on: June 04, 2017, 05:25:25 PM
So misleading. It's the easiest signup, sure. But after signing up, you need at least 500 bits to withdraw. Gaining the other 450 bits requires 5 or so enquetes with all of them at least 30 mins filling in forms. 5x 30 = 2,5 hours of work for...500 bits?
323  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: June 04, 2017, 04:57:50 PM
Just used it a couple minutes ago for the 2nd time since I have registred on this forum. The algoritmes, work...really amazing job. It impressed me for the second time, haha.
324  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: June 04, 2017, 04:55:57 PM
It's been said a couple times before and I agree with that statement too: it all depends on your definition of a job and unemployment. If searching for ways and working online/offline to obtain BTC is considered as a job, then yes. In terms of having an employee providing you with an income and different benefits, this isn't a regular job so it just comes down to wether getting an income excludes being unemployed or not.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 04, 2017, 04:47:43 PM
I think it's way more profitable to just store your savings into BTC. It's basically saving and investing at the same time. There is such a little chance of BTC decreasing below what it is now in ten years and it's way more likely you will have great profit in 10 years.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: June 04, 2017, 04:45:15 PM
Wow, quite amazing. The Slack of this project has now almost 750 members. That's very very impressive. It's not like it's a slow/silent Slack neither....probably one of the most HODLing communities in Crypto, from what I have seen thusfar.
327  Economy / Services / Re: ~~~WAVES~~~Signature Campaign~~~ on: June 04, 2017, 04:42:42 PM
Hi guys,

I followed all the steps required for application. Hope I can join this great project and support throughout this signature campaign. I hope 'SEARCHING' my user ID with the bot was enough for it to register me somehow. Smiley Looking forward to hearing from you and posting with this campaign in my signature!
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: June 02, 2017, 11:39:41 PM
Yeah, totally a scamcoin. Not.

How can people still not believe in this project? See how many work is being done all the time. Everyone is working on the project from PR, to design to developing/programming all day. There is also proof of all this hard work, the latest posts of CCRevolutions is  proof of this. If you still are saying that this is a scam, you are just trying to create FUD so you can buy cheaper if the price decreases. Thats all there is. So if you, whoever reads this, are not certain about the project because some guys in a trollbox tell you that this is a scam coin, than remember that they are just trying to make the price go lower for them to buy (more). This project is here to stay and here to shake crypto. That's certain.

Wow, the tech info is a great addition! This really excites me. Heard about Genesis too...to the moon?

Hey Xtrabytes crew, do you know that Blockchain Dynamics talks about XBY and it's new technology for 5 minutes in the last show?

 Cool

Started as a failed ICO? umm no a scam.

You could argue this is a good feedback and wakeup call hearing what they understood from the project after reading the ANN. They mainly got the idea it was 1 sats (not something you boast about) It comes across as the community just pumped a scam ICO.  I get the back story so I understand no one was interested and was dumping what they thought was a scam but still. Nothing about the tech other than we have Masternodes? Not good.

Well I think that they just don't know nothing about XBY before, was a "user request" made in their thread on Cryptopia forum, Alts section (by me, I'm fan of the show).
I think, that reading this thread actually can be kind of confusing and XBY are in a phase of development of a total new technology, so it's normal that when you for the first time know of a coin that revert the concept of "proof of -" it's not so easy to understand (you know that there's no a whitepaper yet?).

As a result of that I see in Cryptopia a new high price today, 499 sats, in yobit it's 370 today. And an increase of volume of XBY on this exchange.

At this stage more people talk about this coin better, if a dev or someone with higher technicals knowledges then me, can contact the show on twitter or cryptopia forum and explain deeply and correctly what XBY do and why it's a revolutionary thing in crypto world. I'm sure the Blockchain Dynamics guys will analyze again the coin in one of the next shows.

The truth is some people are stupid and often miss the point of something and also this tech is a bit new so some might just try to understand in terms of what has gone before. But assuming they aren't any of these imthink the take away is more are we communicating this project well? Personally I would say no, just in terms of the ANN and website material.

I remember doing some module at college a few years ago about effective communication and basically it was saying IF the receiver of a message doesn't understand then through feedback i.e. Checking they understood the responsibility is always with the giver of information. I would say WE need to be more clear and simple, I Would say 80% of the ANN for example is just white noise, hopefully a rewrite will be focused and clear and will ditch all the secondary stuff no one needs to know about.

I am so confident about this idea that the day the ANN or at least the week it is communicated clearly the important stuff of this coin we would see a big rally. It's taken a shockingly long time to sort out so far. I could make an ANN in 30 minutes if I had a logo and a banner.

I think the developers have explained more then once that explaining the tech will happen once the tech is done: that means, tested and up and running so the information given is proven to be right and succesful. So having the ANN page clear and filled with usefull technical info is great but if the information of tech isn't available or not correct at this point, it has no use. I don't understand the impatience...what are weeks on a project that aims to be changing crypto forever? Hell, what are months...?

332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: May 25, 2017, 11:14:33 PM

It would just be nice to get at least an update of:

-Yes the testing is going well and (x), (x) and (x) have been coded succesfully or,
-No, the testing is having minor issues with (x) and borz is currently working this with confidence in resolving the issue

-------------------------------------

At the moment we are all literally just in limbo, all we have to show is an modified BitcoinCore wallet to allow for node registration.

Not even a glimpse of workable code, or the ability to aid in reviewing or helping with the coding.

I really really do wish the best for this coin, admittedly like most people involved here, in terms of my own financial benefit, but also to the benefit and improvement to the cryptocurrency scene in general...

The PoSignature concept seemingly to me is a realistic method for workable code... in theory... and would be a major step forward in the cryptocurrency scene compared to the current tech if successful.

If its a scam, then oh well im not going to cry about it, but if its not, then why are the more involved people (ccrevolution, borzalom) in this project not providing the simplest of information in regards of updates to the userbase/ investors.

I see plenty of previous posts from CCrevolution claiming to be busy, and on with many things, but fails to provide any further information on what he is specifically busy with, and with no progression being made, or improvement announcements, what is he actually busy with?

What do you think is going on then? There is a dev team and this team is getting bigger every day to get certain aspects of the project done faster. Why would they ask people to work on wallets (complete redesign), to work and vote on projects when they are scamming? Why spend so much time on gathering a good team and a strong community if it's all bullshit?

Why let everyone in your kitchen when your secret and game-changing recipe isn't even finished yet? Would you let people watch you code the most secure and crypto-world-changing project? That would be the most foolish 'YES' that you could give.
333  Other / Off-topic / Re: What crypto sites do you visit daily? on: May 24, 2017, 03:07:38 PM
- Bitcointalk
- Yobit
- Bittrex
- XBY Slack

Not in that particular order.

The update is very nice for the doubters. The transparency is very needed in times of countless coins releasing with the sole purpose of getting the founders of the coin money before the coin even really gets released in to something with a good and needed purpose. XtraBYtes really does show promise when it comes to having a purpose and the developers/founders show a lot dedication and effort/work (see: Github/updates/changes).

2 questions... the trading fee of 100 XRB is kind of high.. that's nearly 80 cents already based on today's price. Will it be lowered? A NEM style fee setup where the fee goes up based on how much is sent would be ideal.  Also, does it now take 500,000 to run a static node? A look at the list shows they all have 500,000 balance.

I mostly own XEM and they already have a pretty solid coin in place, but this tech looks interesting.  Will this coin have messaging? What kind of scalability does it have? How many transactions per second? What about multisig?

I'm not sure I want to deal with yobit or c-cex though. I'd rather buy 500,000 XRB from someone here directly assuming I'm interested... a direct swap of either BTC or XEM.

XRM? This is XBY, mate.

Funny how people still believe that this is a short-term-investment project. It's the same type of people that FUD when it decreases in value and start dumping with their weak hands. It's good for anyone who believes in this long term project to gain more for less but also funny that people invest their money but not their time in projects.

Supercool, boys. Gefeliciteerd met dit project! (translating to: Congratulations with this project, in Dutch)

Looks very professional. How come it has not gone off to the moon despite being a two year project if I'm not mistaken? Is there something changing that will help taking off? I'm sorry if these questions have been answered before but 90 pages, is more then I can read at this moment.

Nogmaals congratulations and I will keep an eye on this project!

338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: May 17, 2017, 12:09:58 PM

Absolutely! The development team are cautious to run before we can walk though. More than likely they would want to get rid of old chain and get Chords system running and checked. I estimate a month or two, but that's a pure guess. The sooner we get off Yobit the better, I'm no Gandhi but the site is wall to wall scams and pump and dumps. Most coins they are buying are dead.lol.

I recognise you from many coins I've been involved in the past. Welcome, this one is a keeper I think.
Why would you get off Yobit? I mean, it's awesome to get on different exchanges. Better exchanges. But I think Yobit is decent. Of corse it has 1000's of worthless coins but it has also given XBY and people who are not familiar with XBY the platform to find eachother. Like me. Also I like the site's layout while I hate the layout of Poloniex.

I like ANN, hard work CCRevolution!

Is there a projection of the price in the future?

I am not the right person to answer this question but I have read a lot of people who are more experienced chat about this. Most people think it's very possible for it to reach 1 dollar eventually. Some hope it fails, others hope/think it could be more worth in future but I believe it is a succes if it reaches the 1 dollar.
