401  Other / Off-topic / Re: UPDATED [VOTE] Do you think Bitcoin will reach us$1450? on: May 02, 2017, 08:23:23 PM
We already have pass that price and I don't know why. Is there something they don't tell us and they want the price of btc as high as they can? Maybe WW3 is coming...

Haha, another good question: will WW3 impact BTC's price as in make it rise trough the roofff? Cheesy Depends on if the internet survives this war and if it does, is it still working as good as it does now?
If we ever had a WWIII (and that is a very big “if”) there would probably be a lot of use of EMPs, and nobody would have electric at all; much less electronics and internet.

Of course precious metals would probably skyrocket.

Let's pray that sh*t doesn't hit the fan, then Cheesy. Judging for your expectations, Bitcoins would be worthless after an WW3.

Ripple, daar gaan we maar even induiken.

403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins, Ether and such...are they still worth your time? on: May 02, 2017, 02:39:32 PM
The thing is, i want to work hard for it. I'll run circles, while doing push-ups, keeping a football on my nose and fighting John Cena at the same time if that gives me Bitcoins. My main problem is: i have no money to invest and I have no programming skills. I can make websites (HTLM and basic PHP combined with puzzling Photoshop elements), I am good with designing stuff and I like playing League of Legends. Pretty much my skillset. So, I don't know about other ways then Faucets at this moment but I am willing to learn and invest my time on it (or small amounts of money, if that's worth anything...like 50 EUR per month or so).
Playing League of Legends huh? Maybe you have a decent video card / processor and you can use those to mine?

You can get around 5$ daily with a GTX 1080 on this site, http://Nicehash.com Which doesn't seem like a lot at first, but in a couple months you'll have your ROI back.

Might be something worth to check out?

I have just installed it, thanks for the tip. Can I just let it start on it's own settigns and algorythms or should I hash something else? :$

I assume a girlfriend of wive hasn't fixed the problem so far? Then I would definitely say a clinic or something. There are not many in Europe, at least not that I know of but guess that could or should help. But a good and active relationship should really help too.

407  Economy / Speculation / Expectation Bitcoin Price in 2022 on: May 02, 2017, 12:22:31 PM
I have searched topics with certain keywords to see if this topic was already there but I couldn't find it so moderators, I am sorry if there is.

But, what I really wanna know is, what do you expect the value of 1 Bitcoin to be in 2022. So, in 5 years. All the experts, newbies...share your toughts. Smiley
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: May 02, 2017, 11:40:00 AM
I plan to invest in bitcoin to ensure my future, but I will also consider other investment options for a change.

I agree. I convert all my funds to BTC for my future purposes because I believe that the price of bitcoin will be much expesive compared to it's current price. I will put the faith of my savings to BTC rather than to stock it kn the bank which offers very low percentage of interest.

What level do you expect it to reach?

410  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should bitcoins be recognized around the world?? on: May 01, 2017, 10:25:20 PM
Bitcoin is already recognized all over the world. In every country there is at least 1 person that knows and uses Bitcoin.

But i think you are talking about recognition as an official currency.

Well this is not going to happen, at least unless the bank and the goverments find a way to control it and eliminate the anonymity.

Some countries already official recognized it as a currency (Japan) or as a Commodity (USA) but still there are a lot other countrues that BTC transaction are illegal (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country_or_territory)

Isn't it also a problem that they cant get taxes over it?

One of the many problems, yes. If you didn't bought bitcoins using fiat/ ( using your bank accounts), they have no clue how much bitcoin you own.
In most western countries these days they do ask you how assets in BTC you own ( basically bitcoins + altcoins), I don't know how they're checking it.
It seems very hard.

I guess it's impossible right? They can't trace Bitcoins so they can only see that you have bought some. Maybe they can tax the transaction of BUYING BTC. But it should stop there. You could always say that you have already spend the BTC's and they wouldn't verify if that's true or not since all the wallets and the transactions are not saved on a bank that they can request to give insight in. But the transaction of buying the coins, that would be taxable, right?
411  Other / Off-topic / Re: if you woke up in 2037, what's the first thing you'd google? on: May 01, 2017, 10:17:59 PM
First thing I'd check is Bitcoin price, hope it worth 10000 dollars Smiley

Aren't we (or let's say the BitcoinTalk experts) guessing (or hoping?) that it won't take 20 years for it and its more realistic it reaches that amount in like 5 years or am I just talking crap with this statement?

I guess I'll Google up some the term 'wars'. If the world has gone to absolute devastation, the term war will probably result in the most direct answer to the IF and if so the WHY.

Btw, can I ask if the 360 seconds post-limit is for every rank or is it only for newbies? I am a very fast typer and this really makes me just sit out time before I can respond to topics. And I am not spamming neither, just bored and this forum has quite a lot of interesting topics. I understand it's to stop post-spammers so I would like to know if this is for every rank or just untill you have proven to be a 'stayer'/normal poster.
412  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cheapest country in Europe to buy and own a car... on: May 01, 2017, 10:10:47 PM
Not what you asked but the most expensive country most be The Netherlands. Damn, not only are the prices quite ridicilous, the monthly costs (taxes and insurance) costs are like 300 EUR without driving a single mile for let's say a BMW 3 or 5 serie.
413  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: May 01, 2017, 10:01:18 PM
I am really interested if the latest rise in value has changed the answer to the question of the topic opener. Did the recent developments made you guys more then enough to stop working?

416  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins, Ether and such...are they still worth your time? on: April 30, 2017, 06:28:49 PM
First of all, BTC, ETH, etc. are CURRENCIES. Yes, you can make money trading or holding them for the long term but they weren't designed just to make you earn money.

Second, after all my experience with cryptos, if you want to invest more money in them, it's easy: get a job or a second job or do overtime in your current job, then invest that money you have earned. There is no easy magic way to make money.

Finally, if you want to earn big amounts of money work hard and stop wasting your time at faucets.

Well, there was a easy magic way to make money, right? Back when you could get 1 BTC per faucet, as a matter of speach of course. And those rewards are worth thousands now. So, well, there isn't perhaps but it sure was. And why I am here isn't to make easy money per se. I wont complain if i do but that isnt the reason. I want to learn how to make money with investing my time and effort into BTC and Ether for example. For the most of the users here, it seems like its very simple stuff probably but for a newbie, its not that easy to understand the whole economy around this. Even if I would buy BTC I wouldn't know how to make money off it.

I ignore the fact that it wasn't designed to make me earn money. I'm not interested in it's purpose, I've read all about that (and support it btw), I'm interested in earning money off it. And you make me feel bad for wanting it btw Cheesy

Ok, np after all, but it would impress you to know how many newbies come here to ask how they can become rich without moving a finger Grin
To be fair, is quite difficult to make money just with repetitive actions (like faucets) if you want to make a good amount of money you have to know how to use your skills or sell them or learn new ones.

Yeah, I've already seen the big list of 'one comment wonders'. The people who are too late to hop on the train off to The Golden Mountains. Just like me Sad

Is it true it's just mining that helps now? Well, mining with a normal household PC isn't worth the time, now is it?

418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins, Ether and such...are they still worth your time? on: April 30, 2017, 05:57:00 PM
I'll try make it short,
-Any cloud mining isn't profitable due to unstable cryptocurrency price.
-Bitcoin mining isn't profitable due to competition from chinise miners, unless you can find very cheap electricity, very efficient ASIC, very efficient/cheap cooling solution and low-cost maintenance.
-Altcoin mining such as DASH, ETH, XMR or ZEC is more profitable since the competition isn't too crazy, but these altcoin price is very volatile.

In your case, you just waste your time by collect bitcoin/altcoin faucet and obviously you can earn more money by doing other real jobs. But, mining altcoin is still profitable if you invest hundred to thousand dollars for good PC for mining altcoin.
See Mining (Altcoins) for more info.

Thanks for your response, mate.

You've said 'in your case'. Is there a different perspective/option for you? Or did you mean as in; if you are not a Chinese miner with 500 MonsterPC's connected to tapped electricity?

Mining altcoin seems the way to go, I guess. Is that doable with a normal PC? I have a decent PC and I am online 24/7. Is that doable? And my last question in this post:D: isn't there a PC System Requirement per Bitcoin/Altcoin site or calculator somewhere? I haven't found one but maybe I've missed something.
419  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ★★★NEW CONCEPT FOR BITCOINTIME.SITE ★★★ on: April 30, 2017, 05:50:24 PM
I like the concept of your site, that's really interesting. The bad thing is: design. I mean, it looks like it was made in 1999. Is there no way to fix that? I could help you with some Photoshopping on a logo, button's and even a whole website if you are interested. I think you can improve the site with that. Other then that, good idea kardes. Smiley
420  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much bitcoins can you collect from faucets per day? on: April 30, 2017, 05:43:41 PM
The horrible thing is, you can only withdraw starting from a certain amount of BTC. If you could make direct withdraws on every faucet, it would at least help them collect on one place to have some sort of motivation on it. But hell, all those nanoBTC's on different sites...it's really demotivating. Already... Cheesy

But on the other side, what if Bitcoins value reaches 5 or 10 times more then it is now...wasn't it stupid then to have stopped now?
