The Vestarin project team, who work with the integration of cryptocurrencies in commercial terms of any type and size, including in offline stores, has announced the end of the token sale, where VST tokens have been sold which are over than 3000 ETH.

We note, that the soft cap which is equivalent to 2000 ETH was raised at the start of the token sale. As a result — leading to a wider interest of the project. It has provided new subscribers, good press, reviews on Networks, and, as a result, more than a successful completion of the Pre-ICO.

Additionally, an open door policy of management had a successful promotion, when the hard cap was reduced after the unprecedented growth of the ETH this winter. Unlike other crypto-startups, the Vestarin team decided not to pursue the value, and be able to respond to the market conditions. The amount that ETH had raised in autumn were calculated to $300–400, however, it had always had the range of $800–1100, for a very long time. Therefore, it was decided to reduce the upper line charges on the Pre-ICO, and at the main stage of ICO. Therefore our hard cap is 35 000 ETH.

As we can see, the boundary of Pre-ICO was resolved without any complications. The team has already announced its expansion, and the fast release of its application. We will once again remind you of the demo version for mobile devices is available for testing, and its desktop version is in active phase of development. Which by the way, has helped token sale organizers, as a few developers are resolved to release the prerelease version of the product for extensive discussion. In this case, the rate of Vestarin management on openness was repaid.

The Pre-ICO has passed. The team is now preparing to host ICO, which will be launched on March 5.

In the past few weeks, we have been busy testing our beta internally at Bodhi, attending events and conference to meet with potential partners, talked with a few exchanges, and try to let more people know about Bodhi. Bodhi team attended events including Startup Grind, d10e in Silicon Valley, meetups organized by SF Ethereum Developers, among others.

We will launch our beta on mainnet next month (delayed from the origin goal of launching on mainnet by the end of February). We feel it’s better to delay a bit and release a more finished product than rushing an incomplete product to market. A few challenges that we will solve for the release include:

1 We switched to Electron framework for better user-ability of native desktop app;
2We are adding and testing additional functionality that we feel is important to the usability, including transaction history of
  accounts;
3 We are still working hard on the redesign of the UI to give the users a better experience.

Private token purchasers underwrite $3m in Genie ICO

We are very pleased to announce that Genie ICO has hit its Soft Cap of $5 million, with another $20 million in the pipeline! We had achieved about $2.5million through crowd sale; with the $3million underwritten amount, the current token purchase crosses the soft cap of $5million.

We have been in negotiations with a few private purchasers for the past month, with a potential purchase of $20 million. However, with the Chinese New Year holidays, the discussions slowed down. Now, that people are back at work in Asia, the discussions moved forward quite quickly.

The token purchasers have signed an agreement to underwrite $3 million to our ICO; with a further allocation of up to $7 million. Besides this, there are 4 other discussions in progress that could add another $10 million.

Bridge Protocol deploys 10 RPC nodes during token sale

The Bridge Protocol token sale launched on February 22, 2018. Due to network congestion many participants encountered difficulty, however the Bridge Protocol team has remained engaged with the community and proactive in their efforts to remedy the issues.

Within hours of the Bridge Protocol token (IAM) sale launch, users began experiencing ‘script-hash errors’. These errors commonly occur if a user attempts to participate in a token sale from a NEO address that has not been included in the whitelist. On this occasion, the error was caused by the NEO nodes becoming overloaded.

The issues were exasperated by participants attempting to submit transactions multiple times, creating extra congestion on the network.

The situation was further complicated by some users sending funds incorrectly. Despite Bridge having released a step-by-step guide on how to participate in the sale, many users failed to tick the ‘It performs verification’ checkbox’ on the Neon wallet when submitting their transaction. The verification checkbox integrates with the smart contract to verify that transactions are valid and perform automatic refunds on invalid transactions.

Users who did not select the verification checkbox were still able to send NEO to the Bridge wallet, however as verification was not enabled it would not trigger the minting of IAM tokens. These funds are required to be refunded manually. Furthermore, as each user was only allowed to participate in the token sale once, this error effectively locked their wallet addresses from being able to submit a new transaction correctly.

On February 23, Bridge addressed the community through a Reddit post, noting that the the NEO Contract was launched as expected and that a large percentage of participants were able to complete their transaction and successfully receive IAM tokens. They also announced that those who locked their wallets on the first day would be granted a second chance, and refunds would be issued promptly.

Users were able to request a refund by logging into the Bridge Protocol dashboard and by providing their transaction ID. Once completed, the NEO would be refunded to the original address listed in the whitelist.

The Bridge team proceeded to manually refund the failed transactions from the locked wallets and allowed users to submit a new wallet address to participate in the sale correctly. This process was broken down into multiple rounds to lighten the load on the network.

Following a call from City of Zion founder, Fabio Canesin, for projects using the NEO to support the infrastructure, the Bridge team announced the launch of 10 RPC nodes. These are seed nodes that provide public RPC endpoints, and are not related to consensus or security of the network. Red Pulse have also launched four nodes.

Since the addition of the new nodes, the IAM token sale has proceeded smoothly and Bridge has raised over $13 million USD. The sale concludes February 28th, UTC and all unsold tokens will be burnt.

Release Date Set!

The date for our next release has been set! We chose to move the date to March 12th so that it can continue to be rigourously tested and to give time for our team to get situated back home after our meetup in Miami. This release will overhaul the wallet update and node creation process as well as various bug fixes to the governance system.

Since its inception, blockchain has been a mover and a shaker; primarily a shaker due to how it is expected to disrupt industries such as banking and insurance. In reality no industry is safe from the revolution that blockchain technology is bringing upon us. If your industry deals with data or transactions, you will be affected.

Take a business like digital marketing. Most would assume that blockchain technology would not create a big shift in such an industry right off the bat. However, dive into the details and you’ll see that the rise of blockchain has had an undeniable impact on the marketing world. The main pivotal areas can be summed up through changes in trust, customer experience and branding.

The trust and transparency between brands and their consumers has drastically shifted. On both consumer and company sides, blockchain has begun to transform the way that business is performed. Take the use of blockchain to create digitized and agreed-upon goals in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), or perhaps just the acceptance of a company to recognize Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as legal tender for purchases? These actions that leverage the technology create brand trust and paint a picture of a modern, forward-thinking and frankly a friendlier, and trustworthy organization.
