The thing is: would you have had the guts to sell at >$200. If you have ever have hold stock you should be familiar with the feeling "it's up quite a bit now, but what if it keeps going up? I should hold on to it, just a little bit longer..." and there you go...

It really depends on the GPU series & type. I would normally say for AMD keep <80 degrees C and you're good. Setting up a fan profile with AMD drivers, TRIXX or MSI Afterburner might be a good idea.
