Economy / Economics / Re: Which country would be the first to eliminate fiat and convert to crypto fully?

I don't think any country would adapt to bitcoin only because of it's volatility. But I guess some 3rd world countries who have several financial issues could somewhat pump their financial status if they used bitcoin for a while, as it is steadily gaining value and potential. Ofcourse they shouldn't go all in because if bitcoin gets a decrease in it's value, that country would likely be doomed.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Uber
|
on: August 15, 2017, 10:09:42 AM

This is a god news. I guess Uber is really trying to take over the regular taxis. Their modus operandi is great( except for the tieves that call themselves as uber drivers) and now with the integration of bitcoin it will take bitcoin to be more recognized, as many people already use Uber in many countries. This will maybe bring more demand to bitcoin and hopefully continue increasing this great coin's value.

Interesting article for reading. Hopefully if there is a financial crisis bitcoin can help it solve but if there is some kind of crisis around the world, the access to internet would also get limited or not possible in atleast 3rd world countries. So, before the crisis falls it's better to get your bitcoins safe in a cold storage and with that you can use them in times of crisis.

$18,000 in BTC is a lot of money. I think bitcoin will reach there because it has the potential to reach there, but not so soon. I think people who are buying bitcoin with the price that is now and hold them some years, will have lots of gains, but investing when it will be valued 18,000$ you have to have a big money account with fiat.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be THE Bitcoin
|
on: August 14, 2017, 08:23:13 AM

I believe bitcoin cash has it's potential. But making things like bitcoin and get a high fledging value could take years. It may also get stable or decrease it's current value if bitcoin gets it's problematic transaction fees to get lower. If you want to invest on them do it, but keep in min that they could be possibly like other ICO's.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum eventually become an internet money?
|

I guess it wasn't developed for that purpose, but ethereum has it's own potential. We see it growing steadily, no long jump in the value growth, but it is growing. And because it has more block size for transactions, it's open source I believe, makes it desirable for many people. It's not certain if it can become internet money, but it has several potential.

Almost 46 btc is a huge amount of money ! I was also searching for a method to cash in my bitcoin cash and saw that exact think to do what I needed. The author from where I saw about this was also saying to try it on our own risk because there could be some theft in that electrum- wallet because it is not from electrum and it was a third party software. Hope you get justice somehow and someday . And if that happens, hope you share your story.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / bitcoin transaction fees rising ?
|
on: August 13, 2017, 09:37:20 PM
|
With the growth of bitcoin value to 4000$ bitcoin is establishing themselves as one of the most wanted cryptocurrencies. While this is good as the demand will make it's price increase, I am thinking of what may happen to the transaction fees ? They seem to grow proportionally because the miners are taking advantage of the numerous transactions happening, and they select the ones that have a higher transaction fee.
Will these continue rising ? How can this be solved without affecting deeply bitcoin? Will this give an upper hand to bitcoin cash to increase it's value, as it looks like their transaction fees are lower ?

We can only predict how will bitcoin work and how much its price is till then. I think you can't really do an all in in bitcoin because it is a volatile coin, but surely you can invest in whatever you want to risk to lose.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction FEES 0.00133153 BTC !!!
|
on: August 13, 2017, 09:17:58 AM

google tells me that bitgrail is a small exchange! if you paid 0.0013BTC in fees then there is nothing you can do about it, you can complain to that exchange why they are taking that big a fee from you. or stop using it and use another exchange that takes a smaller fee for withdrawals. for example i heard that poloniex and bitstamp are taking 0.0001BTC fee!
It's true, poloniex is only taking 0.0001 as transaction fees. You could always ask them why the transaction fee is that high, by sending them a support ticket.

That's true, bitcoin looks like an asset or share that we have and it keeps increasing it's value when everything is going great, and if there is some problem the price just decreases. We can compare it to a company who is developing quite well now

Make your profession something that you like or really are into it. You will get more money if you are satisfacted and have good knowledge about something. For example, I like developing web pages, so I just make them for clients that I have, and I earn from it.
